Connecting device between components of a piece of furniture
A connecting device between components of a piece of furniture includes a casing capable of being received in a first seat and in a second seat obtained respectively in a first and in a second component of the piece of furniture, and including a first and a second radially expandable region to engage respectively the first and the second component in correspondence of the first and the second seat, a tie rod received inside the casing with axial sliding power towards and from a locking position, and including a first segment in enlarged section and a second segment in enlarged section susceptible of engagement respectively with the first and the second region to determine a radial expansion of the casing when the rod is moved in the locking position, and an eccentric element arranged to engage a head of the tie rod and axially move it towards the locking position when the eccentric element rotates around its main axis.
RAIL SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE SHELVING AND CANOPIES
A vehicle rail system has a frame mountable to a vehicle, the frame having a plurality of support legs, the support legs interconnected via support beams. One or more fixed rails are mountable to the support frame, each fixed rail comprising a plurality of bearings thereon and configured to receive a sliding rail, the sliding rail having a plurality of grooves for receiving the bearings of the fixed rail so as to be slidable thereon. The bearings are located along regular intervals of the fixed rails on each non-mounted side. The sliding rail is then able to slide along the bearings of the fixed rail, extending to the exterior of the frame mounted in the vehicle.
A JOINING DEVICE BETWEEN COMPONENTS OF AN ITEM OF FURNITURE
A joining device between components of an item of furniture, including a casing having a first and a second radially expandable portion for engaging the components of the item of furniture, a tie-rod housed inside the casing and axially slidable, and a cam element housed in said casing for axially displacing the tie-rod from the rest position to the locking position and vice-versa. According to the present invention, the cam element has a lobe along its outer periphery which has a forward profile having a predefined extension about the axis of rotation such as to perform, alone, the displacement of the tie-rod with respect to the casing from the rest position to the locking position so as to actuate the expansion of both portions with a single movement according to a forward rotation direction of the cam element and any return through a movement according to a return rotation direction.
SET OF PANELS WITH A MECHANICAL LOCKING DEVICE
A set including a first panel, a second panel and a mechanical locking device for locking the first panel to the second panel, wherein the first panel includes a first edge surface, the second panel includes a second panel surface, the first edge surface is facing the second panel surface in a locked position of the first and the second panel, the mechanical locking device includes at least one rod-shaped element at the first edge surface, at least one insertion groove at the second panel surface, the rod-shaped element is configured to be inserted into the insertion groove, the rod-shaped element extends at a first angle from the first edge surface, the insertion groove extends into the second panel surface at a second angle from the second panel surface, the mechanical locking device further including at least one locking groove.
DOWEL FOR FASTENING FITTING PARTS
A dowel for fastening fitting parts of pieces of furniture, including: a dowel sleeve; at least one fastening claw separate from the dowel sleeve; and a spreading element movable axially in the dowel sleeve and intended for radially spreading the at least one fastening claw and the dowel sleeve. The dowel sleeve has a guide which laterally guides a retaining portion of the fastening claw, and latching means are provided which retain the fastening claw, which is inserted into the guide, on the dowel sleeve, preferably with play. The spreading element can be connected to at least one fastening claw, preferably to all fastening claws.
READY-TO-ASSEMBLE FURNITURE KIT, CONSTRUCTION AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A ready-to-assemble furniture kit, construction, and method of assembly. The ready-to-assemble furniture generally comprises a bottom panel having a front edge, a rear edge, and first and second side edges; a first and second side panels mounted parallel to each other, each side panel having an interior surface and an exterior surface defined between a front edge, a rear edge, a top edge and a bottom edge; the interior surface forming at least one longitudinal slot positioned proximate to the bottom edge operably shaped for receipt of the respective bottom panel first and second side edge; a back panel having an interior surface, and first and second side edges; at least one nylon dowel connector connecting each of the rear edges of the first and second side panels with the respective back panel first and second side edges; a front panel having an interior surface, and first and second side edges; and at least one nylon dowel connector connecting each of the front edges of the first and second side panels with the respective front panel first and second side edges; wherein each nylon dowel connector comprises an elongated body having a midsection, opposing sides, and a plurality of longitudinally aligned truncated cone sections extending from the midsection being tapered towards the opposite side of the body.
ITEM OF FURNITURE AND WALL ELEMENT FOR AN ITEM OF FURNITURE
An item of furniture includes at least one fitting for guiding a movable furniture part and at least one plate-shaped wall element, into which the at least one fitting is integrated, and at least one connecting element for connecting to an additional furniture component.
Collapsible bed foundation
Provided is a mattress foundation that includes: a headboard end panel assembly; a footboard end panel assembly; a left side panel assembly; and a right side panel assembly. The left side panel assembly detachably attaches to the headboard end panel assembly and to the footboard end panel assembly, and the right side panel assembly detachably attaches to the headboard end panel assembly and to the footboard end panel assembly. Each of the left side panel assembly and the right side panel assembly comprises two side panel subassemblies that are attached together end-to-end when in use but that can be arranged substantially parallel to each other when not in use.
Tool-less fastening system
A tool-less fastening system includes an interface assembly including an interface body having a first longitudinal end, a second longitudinal end, and a contact surface disposed between the first longitudinal surface and the second longitudinal surface, a fastening element coupled to the interface body, and a stop block extending from the interface body at the second longitudinal end, the stop block including an inclined surface.
