Table leg attachment
An assembly includes an elongated channel member, a clip and a leg. The clip includes a hook proximate the first end of the clip, a fastener proximate the second end of the clip, and a pivot protrusion disposed between the first and second ends of the clip. The clip is attached to the first end of the elongated channel member. The leg is oriented at a first angle to the elongated channel member and adjacent the first end of the elongated channel member. The leg includes an opening. The hook of the clip is configured for insertion into the opening of the leg. Using the fastener to move the second end of the clip toward a surface of the elongated channel member causes the hook of the clip to rotate about the pivot protrusion, thereby engaging a surface of the leg. A method is described for assembling a structure.
MODULAR FRAME ASSEMBLY
A modular frame assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a plurality of supports, and at least one connector for interconnecting the supports. The connector includes a base, a plurality of legs extending outwardly from the base, each leg defining a socket having an exterior surface that has a generally constant profile throughout the length of the leg, and a member that is movable between an engaged position in which it projects interiorly of the leg, and a disengaged position in which it is flush with the exterior surface, the member being biased to the disengaged position. Additional components, such as shelf supports, mounting brackets, shelf brackets, and risers, can be included in the assembly. The modular nature of the assembly allows for a wide arrangement of structures to be created.
T-link hinge mechanism
A T-link hinge for hingeably connecting first and second members comprises a link portion having a T-shaped cross-section including a top region and a bottom region, wherein the top region has a width greater than a width of the bottom region. The link portion comprises first and second thru holes formed in the bottom region of the link portion adjacent each the respective first and second ends of the link portion. Each of the first and second members to which the link portion is to be mounted includes thru holes. In an assembled configuration of the link portion and the first and second members, the thru holes formed on the first and second members axially align with the pair of thru holes in the link portion and are connected by first and second pins.
Multifunctional mounting bracket
A simple and versatile mounting bracket for mounting e.g. legs on a piece of furniture is provided. The multifunctional mounting bracket facilitates a switch between two states, e.g. a switch between using a table as a dining table and using the table as a coffee table, or a switch between a “table” position and a “stack-up” position without the use of tools.
JOINING SYSTEM FOR FURNITURE PARTS
In a first aspect of the invention, this is achieved by a joining system for furniture parts comprising female coupling recess formed in a first furniture part, a male coupling tongue projecting from an adjoining second furniture part, said female coupling recess being adapted to receive the male coupling tongue, said male coupling tongue comprising a first locking element configured for a snap joint interlocking engagement with a matching second locking element in said female coupling recess, the male coupling tongue being configured to be more flexible than the female coupling recess. The joining system comprises an upper guiding surface arranged on a first side of the female coupling recess on the first furniture part, forming an essentially non-resilient guide for the male coupling tongue upon insertion thereof, limiting movement of said male coupling tongue in a direction towards said first side of the female coupling recess. The joining system comprises a lower guiding surface arranged on a second side of the female coupling recess on the first furniture part, located opposite to said first side thereof, said lower guiding surface is configured to force the male coupling tongue to resiliently deflect whilst in engagement with said upper guiding surface upon further insertion thereof in a deflection movement towards said first side of the female coupling recess, until the first locking element of the male coupling tongue snaps together with the matching second locking element of the female coupling recess.
SUPPORT LEG CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR A TRIPOD
Provided is a support leg connecting structure for a tripod. The tripod includes a central tube, three support legs, three braces, and an upper tripod unit. The support leg connecting structure includes: a flat fixing portion formed at an appropriate portion of an outer wall of each of the support legs by pressing and recessing, and provided with a piercing hole; a recessed curved surface disposed between the flat fixing portion and an undeformed portion of the support leg; a curling portion formed on one end of each of the braces by curling, and having a through hole, the curling portion surrounding a periphery of the through hole; and a fastening part. The piercing hole corresponds to the through hole, the fastening part is inserted through the piercing hole and the through hole, the support leg and the brace are pivotally connected to each other around the fastening part.
Fabric hinge
A foldable fabric hinge comprises a fabric portion having a first end and a second end. The foldable fabric hinge further comprises first and second fabric portion holders, wherein each of the first and second fabric portion holders is configured for gripping a respective one of the first and second fabric portion ends. A plurality of fasteners are configured for facilitating assembly of the first and second fabric portion holders and the fabric portion to first and second components requiring a hingeable connection.
Cot and corner connector therefor
A corner connector supports frame members that are securable to side margins of a support sheet to form a cot. The corner connector can be assembled from two parts, a base member and a cap. The base member can be configured to receive end portions of the frame members in an open-top channel. This can allow a subassembly of the support sheet and the frame members to be lowered into the corner connector base members when forming the cot. The base member and cap can include opposing portions configured to capture corner portions of the support sheet between them. The corner connector can include a shield member recess adjacent to a frame member recess to mount a shield member to extend alongside a frame member installed in the corner connector.
Bed base with locking corner
A corner locking mechanism for a bed base that has corners formed by respective adjacent mating side panels and end panels is provided. The corner locking mechanism has a first section including a first top wall, a first outer wall orthogonal to the first top wall, and a first inner wall extending orthogonally from the first top wall. The corner locking mechanism also has a second section extending orthogonally from the first section, the second section including a second top wall, a second outer wall extending orthogonally from the second top wall, and a second inner wall spaced from the second outer wall and extending orthogonally from the second top wall. The first section is located over one of the side panel or the end panel at the corners.
ASSEMBLY-TYPE CHAIR
The present disclosure relates to an assembly-type chair and provides an assembly-type chair that has a specific structure, thereby conveniently storing and transporting the chair with a minimized volume, and has a structure in which a chair body part including a seat plate and a backrest is rotatable, thereby effectively storing a plurality of chairs by stacking the chairs in the horizontal direction so as to be in close contact with each other.
