Expansion anchor and method of making an expansion anchor
A method of making an expansion anchor comprising the steps of: providing a metal rod having a thread along at least part of its outer surface; adapting the metal rod to obtain a required length of metal rod; welding an expansion section to an end of the obtained length of metal rod; and providing an expansion sleeve which in use interacts with the expansion section for increasing the expansion sleeve diameter. An expansion anchor comprising a threaded rod part, an expansion section welded to an end of the rod part and an expansion sleeve which in use interacts with the expansion section for increasing the diameter of the expansion sleeve.
Expansion connector
An expansion connector including an expandable casing, a pushing member, a compression spring, and a connecting rod. The expandable casing includes an expansion end and is in the shape of a hollow cylindrical tube provided with an axial hole and an inner wall defining the axial hole. The connecting rod includes a first end, a second end, and a stopper disposed between the first end and the second end. The pushing member, the compression spring and the connecting rod are disposed in the expandable casing; the expansion end is expandable radially outwards with respect to the axial hole; the pushing member is disposed in the axial hole and abuts against the expansion end; the pushing member includes a first male thread, and the inner wall of the expansion end includes a first female thread corresponding to the first male thread.
Expansion Anchor
An expansion anchor includes a bolt, a spacer sleeve, an expansible sleeve, an expanding member, and a collar where the collar is disposed between the expansible sleeve and the spacer sleeve. The bolt is insertable into the spacer sleeve, the collar, and expansible sleeve in sequence and a thread of the bolt at a leading end of the bolt is connected to the expanding member to draw the expanding member into the expansible sleeve and expand the expansible sleeve radially. The collar is formed by a first material with a first hardness and a second material with a second hardness where the first hardness is different from the second hardness.
Expanding pin assembly controlled by actuator for locking and unlocking mechanical joint
An expanding pin system is described that can provide automated and/or power controlled locking and unlocking of an expanding pin assembly in a mechanical joint. For example, the expanding pin system can include an actuation assembly that includes a single actuator (e.g., motor) to control an expanding pin assembly for locking and unlocking a mechanical joint.
Biased blind side temporary fasteners, systems and methods
A temporary fastener a plunger having a distal portion including a plurality of plunger fingers, where depressing the plunger causes axial translation of a collet body to place the temporary fastener in an activated state where a plurality of flexible fingers in the collet body radially converge and where releasing the plunger places the temporary fastener in a clamped state in which the plurality of flexible fingers in the collet body are outwardly displaced. The temporary fastener further includes a web element positioned at a proximal end of a rod and including a plurality of opening permitting the plurality of plunger fingers to axially translate there through during depression and release of the plunger. The temporary fastener further includes a spring positioned within a case and exerting a restorative force on the collet body and the plunger in response to depression of the plunger.
Pressure Lock Retention Fastener
In implementations of a pressure lock retention fastener, the fastener assembly includes an insert sized for insertion into a fastener hole in a first panel. The fastener assembly has a threaded collet sized to slide in the insert and has expandable flanges that extend below the insert. The expandable flanges are sized for insertion into an aligned hole in a second panel. The fastener assembly also includes a screw installable through the insert to engage the threaded collet. The screw exerts a force that pushes the expandable flanges outward as screw rotation drives the screw into the threaded collet, and ridge locks of the expandable flanges seat up against the second panel effective to fasten the panels together. In implementations, a plate is installable between the panels with slotted holes having anti-rotation tabs that prevent a fastener assembly from spinning in the panel holes.
Clip
A clip includes a grommet having a projecting portion and a plurality of leg portions extending from the projecting portion, and a shaft member including a head portion, and a shaft portion extending from the head portion, and inserted into an inside of the leg portions to laterally expand the leg portions. The clip is switchable between a lock position to expand the leg portions laterally, and an unlock position where the shaft member is further pushed to return the leg portions to an original condition. Each leg portion includes a leg-side convex portion, a convex-portion wall face, and a guide portion. The shaft portion includes a shaft-side convex portion engaging the leg-side convex portion, a concave portion provided between the shaft-side convex portion and the head portion, and engaging the leg-side convex portion to return the leg portion to the original condition, an abutment portion, and a release portion.
WALL-MOUNTED WASHING MACHINE AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREOF
A fastener kit can securely affix a washing machine on a lightweight wall. The washing machine includes a rear panel for coupling to the wall through the fastener kit. A tub configured to contain washing water may be integrally formed with the rear panel. The fastener kit has one end section equipped with a sleeve that can radially expand to form tight contact with the inner surface of a fastening hole on the lightweight wall. The other end section of the fastener kit is coupled to the rear panel. The lightweight wall may be porous with regular or irregular cavities.
Fixing device
This invention relates to a fixing device for holding a fastener in a hole in a structure comprising an actuating part configured to engage with said fastener in use and a plurality of arms extending from and hingedly connected to the actuating part, each arm comprising a distal portion and an anchor portion between the distal portion and the actuating part. The arms are an insertion configuration formed or formable by moving the arms from an initial configuration in which the arms are splayed to the insertion configuration in which the arms are substantially aligned so that the distal portions define an axial passage and, in use, the fastener extends through the axial passage to engage with the actuating part, and cooperation of the fastener with the actuating part moves the actuating part in an axial direction towards the distal portions to cause a part of each of the anchor portions to move in a radially outward direction with respect to the axial passage to anchor the fixing device in said hole.
Anchor bolt
An anchor bolt which is surely fixed to, for example, a rock wall and is easy to carry and store is provided. The anchor bolt according to the present invention has expandable devices (5) which are disposed at three locations of a rod (3). When the anchor bolt is inserted into a bore (2), a free end of an abutment part (16) of the expandable device (5) abuts an inner peripheral surface (26) of the bore (2), and expandable members (13) are held in the bore (2). In this state, when a taper member (12) is moved toward a base end of the anchor bolt along with the rod (3), an inclined surface (15) of the taper member (12) surface-contacts an inner surface (19) of the abutment part (16), and an outer peripheral surface (20) of the abutment part (16) is pressed against an inner peripheral surface 26 of the bore (2).
