Tree fastener removal assemblies and methods therefor
A tree fastener assembly includes a cap, a base, a strap that connects the cap with the base, and a stem that extends from the base. A plurality of first wings extend radially outward from the stem.
Assemblies for mating a retention clip to a bumper cover and methods of use thereof
Embodiments described herein generally relate to an assembly for mating a retention clip to a bumper cover. The assembly includes a mating hole adapter including a body having a through hole of a first inner diameter. The assembly further includes a bumper cover including a through hole of a second inner diameter, where the first inner diameter of the through hole of the mating hole adapter is less than the second inner diameter of the through hole of the bumper cover. The assembly further includes a retention clip including a fastener having an outer diameter that is substantially equal to the first inner diameter, where the retention clip is mated with the bumper cover by the through hole of the mating hole adapter.
Connector for a tube assembly in a passenger seat
Described are base frame assemblies for a passenger seat having an elongated tube and a connector. The elongated tube may include an inner surface, an outer surface, and a connecting aperture extending from the inner surface to the outer surface. The connector may include a first end, a second end, a central opening extending from the first end to the second end, a first stopper at the first end, a second stopper proximate to the second end, a contact surface between the first stopper and the second stopper, and an adjustment slot defined as extending from the first end to the second end. The connector may be positioned within the connecting aperture such that a portion of the elongated tube contacts the contact surface between the first stopper and the second stopper that may together overlap a portion of the inner surface and outer surface of the elongated tube.
Hole plug
A hole plug includes: a tube-shaped outer peripheral wall configured to be inserted into an attachment hole formed in an attachment-target member; a blocking portion-close off the inside of the outer peripheral wall; a ring-shaped flange that juts out toward a radial direction outer side of the outer peripheral wall from an end portion of the outer peripheral wall on an opposite side from an insertion direction so as to cover a location surrounding the attachment hole; a hook portion engage with an edge of the attachment hole; and a plurality of recess portions that are formed at a front face of a base end portion of the flange at intervals around a circumferential direction of the flange, each of the recess portions including a bottom portion with a planar face profile or a curved face profile.
TETHER CLIP AND PILLAR COUPLING STRUCTURE PROVIDED WITH THE SAME
A tether clip includes a clip body including a panel anchor part and a trim anchor portion connected to the panel anchor part. The clip body has a moving space therein and a trim trigger in the trim anchor portion to be deformable in the moving space direction. The tether clip has a head anchor part with a head hook thereon, a tether connecting the clip body and the head anchor part, and a coupling pin. The coupling pin is inserted into the moving space and includes an inclined slope configured to contact the trim trigger and move the coupling pin toward the panel anchor portion when the trim trigger is deformed inside.
LOCKING HOLE PLUG FOR SEALING HOLES IN COMPOSITE STRUCTURES
A hole plug that can be used during rework or repair of a composite fiber assembly includes various features that allow placement of a vacuum force to the surface being reworked or repaired. In some implementations, the hole plug can include a plurality of nubs positioned around a shank. The nubs can secure the hole plug to the composite fiber assembly until a cure of an adhesive. The hole plug can further include a plurality of longitudinally oriented grooves extending along the shank and positioned between the plurality of nubs, and can include a notch positioned circumferentially around the shank. The grooves and notch can be used as adhesive carriers that assist with dispersal of a sufficient volume of the adhesive onto other portions of the shank and the composite fiber assembly during insertion of the hole plug into a hole in the composite fiber assembly.
AMORPHOUS METAL RIVET SYSTEMS
A family of rivets including both blind and bucked-type rivets made at least partially from an amorphous metal alloy. A blind rivet includes a head portion and a tail portion. At least one of the head portion and the tail portion is configured to elastically deform to secure a first member in position relative to a second member. The head portion and the tail portion may include one or more deformable legs having an interface feature configured to engage with one of the first member and the second member. A bucked-type rivet assembly includes a formable member and an anvil. The anvil is configured to thermoplastically deform the formable member proximate to the second member by passing current through an electrical circuit that includes at least one of the formable member and anvil.
INJECTION MOLDED RIVET-STYLE FASTENER AND HOUSING WITH SNAP ASSEMBLY FUNCTIONALITY ALONG WITH AN INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SUCH A RIVET WITHOUT AN UNDERCUT FEATURE
The present invention discloses a fastener assembly having an engaging portion with a projecting stem which is interiorly hollowed over at least an intermediate extending range. The stem includes a solid end most extending portion. A receiving portion is provided with an inner rim defined edge, a diameter of an aperture between the rim edge being less than a diameter of an inserting portion of the stem. Upon forcible passage of the solid end of the fastener past the narrowed rim edge, an intermediate hollowed interior portion of the stem aligning with the narrowed rim edge and exhibiting a controlled collapse against said rim edge in order to anchor the portions together.
Composed element and rear wall construction applied herewith
A composed element, such as a piece of furniture, wherein the composed element comprises at least a rear wall, as well as a number of constructional parts forming a whole in which the rear wall has to be provided. The rear wall forms the rear side of the composed element and includes one or more rear wall parts. The composed element comprises seats for installing at least one of the rear wall parts, which are configured such that the rear wall part can be slid into the seats starting from the rear side of the composed element from a position differing from the final plane in which the rear wall part will be situated in the final condition.
