Panel fastener assembly
An improved panel fastener assembly is provided and includes a panel retainer having a first connector and a sheet retainer having a second connector. One of the connectors includes a neck extending to a head that presents a flat face opposite the neck and a contact surface between the neck and an outer edge. The other connector includes a body and a plurality of resiliently deflectable locking elements that each extend from a side of the body and define a locking surface opposing a surface of the body. The panel retainer and the sheet retainer are connectable via the first and second connectors. A method of fastening together a panel and a sheet is also provided. The method comprises installing the panel retainer on a panel, anchoring the sheet retainer to a sheet, and connecting together the panel and sheet retainers via the first and second connectors.
Length-adjustable assembly comprising a connecting element, method of manufacturing the assembly
A length-adjustable assembly and method including a connecting element for connecting the assembly to a component so that the connection can be subjected to tensile loads and compressive loads, the connecting element being plugged along the longitudinal axis onto an axial end section with respect to the longitudinal axis of the assembly. The connecting element includes a latching arm elastically bendable outwardly with respect to the longitudinal axis in a mounting configuration of the connecting element for plugging the connecting element onto the end portion, wherein the latching arm includes a latching element, wherein the latching element to positively cooperate with a mating latching element of the end portion, the mating latching element of complementary shape to the latching element, in an operating configuration of the connecting element fitted onto the end portion along the longitudinal axis.
DISPENSER UNIT FOR LIQUID PRODUCTS
A dispenser unit has a bottle suitable for containing a liquid product, a dispenser and a fixing system with a first plate suitable for being fixed to a wall, a second plate suitable for being fixed to the bottle in a recessed seat of the bottle and coupled with the first plate, and a key suitable for uncoupling the first plate from the second plate.
RETENTION ASSEMBLIES FOR AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES
This disclosure details retention assemblies for connecting panels or other components of automotive vehicles. An exemplary retention assembly may include a polymeric panel and a combined snap assembly and fastener boss that is molded-in the polymeric panel. The retention assembly may be utilized to connect an additional structure, such an another panel, to the polymeric panel for establishing a vehicle assembly. The combined snap assembly and fastener boss packages both snap and fastening features within a common packaging space of the retention assembly, thereby reducing assembly complexities and costs.
Multifunctional Plastic Snaping Mounting System
In aspects, a disclosed mounting system includes a device support plate, a base mounting plate, and at least one fastening element. The base mounting plate includes at least one bracket for coupling to the device support plate. The fastening element for securing the device support plate to the base mounting plate. The device support plate includes at least one connector defined by a wall arranged about a central longitudinal axis. The wall includes a plurality of resilient wall portions. An internal peripheral surface of the wall includes a channel defining a receiver for receiving the fastening element. The fastening element including at least two engagement members that include an external peripheral surface defining a mating surface for contacting a corresponding mating surface of the receiver.
ENGAGEMENT VERIFYING FASTENER
A cover includes a housing and a slider. The housing defines a first window. The slider is moveably connected to the housing and defines a second window. The first window and the second window are aligned when the slider is in a first position relative to the housing and misaligned when the slider is in a second position relative to the housing.
Serviceable shoe-clip fastener for vehicle trim attachment
A shoe-clip fastener for securing components in a vehicle includes a stop member having a wall portion and a slot defined in the wall portion and an insertion element coupled to the stop member. The insertion element includes a base member and a clip member cantilevered from the base member. The clip member includes an actuator section that projects proudly of the slot.
Releasable fastening device and a method for operating a releasable fastening device
A releasable fastening device includes a socket, an engagement structure, and first and second lever arms. The socket is insertable into an opening of an object from a first side. The first and second lever arms are pivotably attached to the socket at respective pivot points and are slidably connected to the engagement structure. The fastening device moves between a mounting position where the fastening device is insertable into the object and a fastening position where the fastening device is attached thereto. The first and second lever arms have respective attachment surfaces, respectfully configured to engage a first engagement surface on a second side of the object in connection to the opening in the fastening position and a second engagement surface on the second side of the object in connection to the opening in the fastening position.
Connection arrangement
A connection arrangement includes a first and a second assembly, and an elastically deformable locking element disposed on the first assembly. The locking element is configured to releasably interlock the two assemblies and, during mounting of the two assemblies, to deform into a mounting condition and, after completion of the mounting, to form an undercut which counteracts detachment of the two assemblies. The first assembly has a stop which is movable between an operative position, which assists in maintaining the undercut of the locking element and in which the locking element bears against the stop and/or in which the locking element is deformable against the stop, and a detachment position, in which the stop, in relation to the operative position, is spaced further apart from the locking element and in which the locking element is deformable into a detachment condition for detachment of the two assemblies.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF HANDLE WITH FASTENING PORTION
A handle with a fastening portion includes a body and a second fastening portion. The second fastening portion is provided on one end of the body, and includes a neck configured to be receivingly fastened into, assembled into or fitted with a coupling counterpart. Thus, the handle may be assembled with a coupling counterpart when in use, and the handle may be removed from the coupling counterpart when not in use.
