A handle fastening coupling, preferably for household and gardening implements comprises a guide piece (12) that is pressed into a handle-tube end and has an elongated guide channel (14) for a handle insert pin (3), which has a first end fastened to the implement and second free end, wherein the second end has a lock opening (6); and a locking element (20) that is preloaded by a latch spring (18) in a first radial direction perpendicular to the handle axis and that is designed to snap into the lock opening of the handle insert pin, wherein the locking element can be moved out of the lock opening in the radial direction by an operating button in order to release the handle insert pin (3) to pull it out of the guide channel.

Torque link apex quick release locking mechanism

A torque link assembly for a landing gear includes a lower torque link and an upper torque link that releasably engage first and second quick release pin assemblies. The pin assemblies each include a housing attached to one of the torque links, and a locking pin member extending through the housing. The locking pin member includes a rod portion and a pin portion, and is slidable between an engaged position and a disengaged position for hingedly connecting/disconnecting the torque links. One of the housing and the locking pin member includes a channel having a longitudinal portion and a circumferential portion, and the other has a guide pin that engages the channel. The guide pin is in the longitudinal portion of the channel when moving between the engaged and disengaged positions, and is retained in the disengaged position when the guide pin is in the circumferential portion of the channel.

A fastener assembly is provided. In one embodiment, the fastener assembly includes a panel fastener and a lock pin insertable into the panel fastener to a first position and a second position. The lock pin including a flexible arm configured to upon insertion of the lock pin into the panel fastener in a first direction to the first position, flex inwardly and then outwardly to bring an end surface of the flexible arm into engagement with a panel retention tab of the panel fastener. Upon insertion of the lock pin into the panel fastener in the first direction to the second position, the flexible arm is configured to flex inwardly to allow a retention tab to pass into the panel fastener to bring a retention surface of the lock pin into engagement with a first panel retention surface of the panel fastener.

Locking push pin and heatsink assembly

A locking push pin and methods of using the locking push pin to assemble a heatsink assembly, are described. The locking push pin includes a body lumen extending through a pin body, and several prongs radially outward from the body lumen. Peripheral surfaces of the prongs are separated by a body slot radially outward from the body lumen. The locking push pin includes a pin lock having a branch that extends through the body lumen and into the body slot between the peripheral surfaces. The pin lock advances from an unlocked configuration in which the branch is in the body slot proximal to a distal end of the prongs, allowing the prongs to deflect radially inward, to a locked configuration in which the branch is in the body slot at the distal end of the prongs, blocking deflection of the prongs. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

A height adjustable walking aid includes an outer tube and an inner tube slidably received within the outer tube. Adjustment is made using a, actuating assembly and pin assembly. Application of an actuation force upon the actuating assembly engages a translating member within the translating rod assembly to drive a lower pin travel block of the pin assembly from a first position to a second position. A pin then travels from an extended position to a retracted position such that the inner tube may slidably translate within the outer tube.

A folding chair includes front and rear supports that fold and/or retract into central beams to reduce the space occupied by the chair in a folded configuration. A backrest is coupled to the central beams with a hub that allows an angle of the backrest relative to the central beams to be selected and for the backrest to be folded flat relative to the central beams. One or more actuators and pin actuators may control the relative movements of the backrest, front support, rear support, and central beams.
