System and method for coupling a hub to a main shaft of a wind turbine
A system and method are provided for coupling a hub to a main shaft of a wind turbine. Accordingly, a plurality of fasteners are arranged within corresponding through holes of the hub of a wind turbine. At least one circumferential ridge segment is arranged radially adjacent to the head sections of the plurality of fasteners so as to resist a torque applied to each of the plurality of fasteners. A connection mechanism is utilized to secure the plurality of fasteners within the plurality of through holes so as to limit an axial translation of the plurality of fasteners prior to the coupling of the hub to the main shaft.
BOLT WITH ADJUSTABLE CLAMPING RANGE
A bolt for clamping abutting parts includes a bolt-like part insertable into openings of the abutting parts and including an external thread on a portion of an outer side of the bolt-like part. The bolt-like part includes a bolt component without external thread so that the bolt extends in each of the abutting parts at least partially with the bolt component without external thread. A threaded sleeve projects radially outwardly beyond the bolt-like part and is positionally adjustable by engaging an internal thread of the threaded sleeve in the external thread of the bolt-like part. A clamping element is provided inside the bolt-like part at an end of the bolt-like part in opposition to the threaded sleeve and is movable beyond an outer circumference of the bolt-like part through a bore of the bolt-like part. An actuator acts on the clamping element in order to clamp the abutting parts.
Apparatus for a captured fastener assembly with expanding grommet
A fastener assembly that is configured to securely couple to a component includes a bolt, a limiter, and a grommet. The bold has a head, a shaft, and a medial ridge disposed around a portion of the shaft. The limiter has a brim and a tube, with the tube extending away from the brim. A grommet has a central passage extending through a top section. The top section further includes a central wall and a bottom surface. At least one tab extends from the bottom surface.

Mounting system with self aligning cam system
A mounting system having a dual plunger arrangement wherein the side of each plunger has a pull down cam to provide a desired pull down action in relation to at least two studs, the cams moving relative to one another and axially aligning relative to one another relative to the two axially spaced pull down studs to allow the plungers to provide a maximum hold down force for the two pull down studs, balance the hold down forces thereby maximizing performance and reducing unlocking forces.
CONNECTING DEVICE
A base plate (21) is attached to a side wall surface of a pallet (P). A connecting rod (22) provided so as to protrude from the base plate (21) is configured to be movable on a surface (21a) of the base plate (21). An insertion hole (18) is provided in a housing (1) attached to a robot arm (R), and the connecting rod (22) is inserted in the insertion hole (18). Two pins (23 and 24) extending in parallel to an axial direction of the connecting rod (22) are provided so as to protrude from the base plate (21). The pins (23 and 24) are respectively inserted in support holes (19 and 20) of the housing (1).
Gear attachment system
A system includes knobs on an item of gear and a latch attached to a carrier. Each knob has a neck and a head with a larger diameter. First and second sliders fit into a latch frame. Hooks on the sliders form expandable apertures. To attach, the knob is pushed against the slider hooks to expand the aperture. After the head passes through the aperture, a spring biases the hooks together, so the aperture width is smaller than the head diameter, capturing the knob. A carrier adapter adapts the latch to a carrier. Adapters are available for duty belts, PALS-equipped carriers, and horizontal slots.
Locking mechanism for a plug connector housing
A locking mechanism for first and second housing parts of a housing of a plug connector, includes a push button, which extends in the axial longitudinal direction through an opening of the first housing part into the interior of the housing. The push button is movably arranged, relative to the housing, between predetermined first and second axial positions, which correspond with the first and second positions of the housing parts. The push button and an interior locking element are configured such that the push button is in pressure contact to the locking element and interacts with the locking element such that, in the case of movement of the push button from the first to the second positions a radial pressure contact between the two housing parts is provided such that a gap between the first and second housing parts is minimized.
BUILD PLATE CLAMPING-ASSEMBLY AND ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ADDITIVELY PRINTING ON WORKPIECES
A build plate-clamping assembly may include a work station having a build plate-receiving surface and a lock-pin extending from the build plate-receiving surface of the work station. The lock-pin may include a hollow pin body, a piston disposed within the hollow pin body, with the piston axially movable from a retracted position to an actuated position, and a plurality of detents, with the plurality of detents radially extensible through respective ones of a plurality of detent-apertures in the hollow pin body responsive to the piston having been axially moved to the actuated position. A methods of working on workpieces may include lockingly engaging a build plate at a first work station, performing a first work-step, releasing the build plate from the first work station, lockingly engaging the build plate at a second work station, and performing a second work-step. An additive manufacturing system may include a vision system with a first build plate-receiving surface and an additive manufacturing machine with a second build plate-receiving surface.
