BOLT FOR BATTERY AND BATTERY MODULE
A bolt for a battery includes a head in which at least a portion of a socket is formed, a threaded body including a threaded area in which a spiral thread is formed, and a reinforcing neck connected between the head and the threaded body and having a diameter increasing in a direction from the threaded body toward the head.
Self-retaining fastener and driver
A provisional engagement feature for selectively connecting a fastener such as a screw to a driving tool, the fastener incorporating a head with a recess extending therein and a projection contained within the recess for engagement with a corresponding engagement feature of the driving tool.
THREADED PLUG AND PROTECTIVE ELEMENT FOR A PLUG
A threaded plug includes a structure which extends along an axis and includes a head, a body provided with an outer thread, and a clamping flange inserted between the head and the body; wherein the head includes, along the axis, at least one first portion having an outer lateral surface which features a first profile and at least one second portion having an outer lateral surface which features a second profile which is not coincident with the first profile.
HOSE ADAPTER
A hose adapter may include an outer tube, an inner tube, a hose connector, and a hose. An inner peripheral ring protrudes from the inner periphery of the outer tube while an expanding ring portion protrudes from the outer periphery of an end of the inner tube. The outer periphery of the inner tube further has a first peripheral recess, a second peripheral recess, and a first outer thread, and a first O-ring and a second O-ring are respectively disposed on the first peripheral recess and the second peripheral recess. The inner tube is inserted into the outer tube, and the expanding ring portion is abutted against the inner peripheral ring, and the first O-ring is coupled between the outer tube and the inner tube while the second O-ring and the first outer thread are adapted to pass through and be exposed out of the outer tube.
MECHANICAL FASTENER DRIVE TOOL AND SYSTEM
A fastener is provided that includes a shank and a head disposed along a lengthwise axis. The head includes a first drive head and a second drive head. Both the first drive head and the second drive head are configured for engagement with at least one drive tool for rotationally driving the fastener about the lengthwise axis. The first drive head is configured differently than the second drive head.
Adjustable shim
An apparatus for aligning and shimming plates being anchored to a substratum having a plurality of threaded anchor holes coaxially aligned with corresponding apertures and coaxial threaded bores through each plate. The apparatus includes an external threaded cylindrical shim having a shimming surface and a second (outer) surface adapted to accept rotary force for rotational movement and adjustment of the separation produced by the shim between the substratum and the anchored plate. For anchoring, the 2.sup.nd surface of the shim further includes a counterbored or countersunk hole having a shoulder including a narrower passthrough aperture aligned with the threaded anchor hole, through which an anchor screw extends for rotational mating with the threaded anchor hole. The anchor screw also has a head wider than the passthrough aperture, and adapted to accept rotary force for rotational movement and fixing the shim in place. The apparatus may also include a cap covering the anchor screw head within the counterbored or countersunk hole, to provide a more continuous planar surface and to prevent grit or other unwanted material from collecting in the hole. The apparatus may also include an adjustment tool interfacing with the shim 2.sup.nd surface and/or the cap outer surface, for applying the desired amount of rotational force.
SCREW
Provided is a screw. A recess portion is formed at an end of the screw by extending a depth along a central axis direction of the screw. A tool matching structure is formed on a bottom surface of the recess portion for providing a tool that enters into the recess portion so as to make a part of the tool and the tool matching structure be matched to each other, thereby operating the tool to drive the screw for rotating.
Hybrid three-point drive fastener
Fasteners are disclosed for use with multiple standard torque delivery tools. The fasteners include several different torque bearing portions for use with different torque delivery tools, as well as non-torque bearing portions disposed between torque bearing portions.
Anti-Slippage Fastener
An anti-slippage fastener that utilizes a plurality of engagement features to prevent slippage and facilitate torque transfer between a torque-tool and the fastener. The fastener includes a shank, a fastener head, and an external threading. The fastener head includes a rotation axis and a plurality of engagement walls; wherein the engagement walls are radially distributed about the rotation axis. Each of the engagement walls includes a first transversal line, a second transversal line, and a partially-circular portion. The first transversal line is terminally connected to the partially-circular portion. The second transversal line is terminally connected to the partially-circular portion, opposite the first transversal line. A center of the partially-circular portion is oriented away from the rotation axis. The shank is concentrically connected to the fastener head to act as the body of the fastener. The external threading is laterally connected along the shank, similar to traditional fasteners.
FASTENER
A fastener is provided, including: a driven end including an engaging hole which includes three slots recessed radially and angularly arranged in intervals, each of the three slots being formed as a part of a rectangle and including two right angles, every adjacent two of the three slots defining a rib therebetween.
