STRUCTURE, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AND FASTENER
The present invention provides a structure for omitting washers to reduce the number of parts, and keeping the fitting of two members fastened together even when the washers are omitted. The structure includes: a first member having a first screw hole; a second member facing the first member, having a second screw hole larger than the first screw hole, and threaded in a direction opposite to the first screw hole; and a fastener. The fastener includes, along a longitudinal direction: a first screw section having a diameter corresponding to the first screw hole; a second screw section between the first member and the second member, having a diameter corresponding to the second screw hole, and threaded in a direction opposite to the first screw section; a neck at least partially located in the second screw hole; and a head larger in the longitudinal direction than the second screw hole.
Apparatus for tightening threaded fasteners
According to a first aspect of the invention we provide a three-piece self-reacting fastener, or lock nut, for connecting a joint having a threaded connector including: a first nut member engageable with the threaded connector and axially displaceable; a second nut member engageable with the first nut member and rotatable about an axis; a third nut member non-rotatably but axially displaceably connected with the first nut member, which during rotation about the axis, applies a load to the threaded connector and to tighten the lock nut; and a locking means which substantially non-rotatably connects the second nut member and the threaded connector with one another after tightening the lock nut.

[Problem] The present invention aims to provide, without an increase in cost, a directional indication structure for threaded bodies that enables the visual and tactile distinction between left-hand thread and right-hand thread threaded bodies, enables the identification, from the external appearance and the external surface, of which direction a threaded body should be rotated in order to be tightened or loosened, enables mass production and the like, has a good external appearance, and has form properties that do not impinge the properties inherent in the threaded body or the strength, etc. thereof. [Solution] Directional indicators are asymmetrically provided, in association with the direction of rotation of the threads, to the outer surface of a solid body constituting a threaded body, said directional indicators having corner portions which indicate the forward direction in the direction of rotation, and corner portions which indicate the direction in which the threaded body will advance when rotated in the forward direction in the direction of rotation.
Screw threaded fastening component
The application provides a screw threaded fastening component, which comprises a stud bolt having an external thread, a first connecting part into which a first screw threaded hole adaptive to the stud bolt is formed, and a second connecting part into which a second screw threaded hole adaptive to the stud bolt is formed, and a threaded direction of the second screw threaded hole is against the threaded direction of the first screw threaded hole. The first connecting part and the second connecting part are assembled on two ends of the stud bolt through the first screw threaded hole and the second screw threaded hole, respectively, and the first connecting part is engaged against the second connecting part when the stud bolt is rotated in a direction. The stud bolt is contained in the first screw threaded hole and the second screw threaded hole when the first connecting part and the second connecting part are engaged completely. The application omits the screw head ordinarily designed in screw threaded connection such that the space is saved and the affection on the appearance of the product caused by the exposed screw head can be prevented.
ANTENNA MOUNT AND RELATED ANTENNA ASSEMBLIES
The present disclosure describes an antenna mount. The antenna mount includes a clamp section including one or more clamping members, the one or more clamping members configured to engage a mounting structure, at least one adjustable plate pivotably coupled to at least one of the one or more clamping members, and an azimuth adjustment mechanism coupled to the at least one of the clamping members and the at least one adjustable plate. Through rotation of the azimuth adjustment mechanism, the at least one adjustable plate is configured to linearly move relative to the one or more clamping members to adjust an azimuth alignment of an antenna coupled thereto. Related antenna assemblies are also described herein.
Dual Interface Screw Element and System
A dual interface screw element includes a screw body (10) with an external thread (12) and two distinct engagement interfaces (13, 15), one for inserting the screw and another for removing it. The removal engagement interface (15) includes a reverse thread (16) located in an axial recess (36) such that a complementary reverse-threaded tool (24) applying torque to extract the screw body is tightened against the second engagement interface. The screw is part of a system including an extraction tool (24) and an insertion tool (18). Applications include medical applications such as dental implants and bone screws, domestic applications such as headless wall mounting anchors, and a wide range of other industrial and aerospace applications.
