11359661 · 2022-06-14 · ·

A screw, especially for wood, has a knurled region (10) with two sets (11A, 11B) of ribs (11) that are offset from each other by an azimuth angle. For example, the two sets of ribs extend towards each other from opposite ends (10A, 10B) of the knurled region (10) and are intertwined only in an overlap region (12) that is at the middle of the knurled region.

LOCK AND PIN COMBINATION FOR COLD WORKING CRACKS
20220176500 · 2022-06-09 ·

A lock and pin for the structural and fluid tight repair of cracks not amenable to high temperature repairs or synthetic material patches. Fluid tight pins and locks seal the crack while one or more locks prevent the crack from growing. These repairs need to endure the remaining life cycle of the machinery part while withstanding all the strain, pressure, heat and expansion and contraction of the part before the crack(s) were formed. Often these cracks evolved due to engineering design flaws that will require even greater strength from these areas than when new.

TAMPER-PROOF SCREW
20220154757 · 2022-05-19 ·

A tamper-proof screw includes a main body, a pin body, a ball, and at least one abutting member. A through hole is provided in the main body. The pin body is movably disposed in the through hole. The ball is located in the through hole. The abutting member is located in the through hole and has a connecting end and a free end opposite to each other. The connecting end is disposed on an inner wall of the main body and located between the ball and the free end. The ball is located between the pin body and the abutting member. When the pin body moves in the through hole to push the ball to press against the connecting end of the abutting member, the abutting member pivots around the connecting end to allow the free end to extend outwards from the main body.

Scupper Light

The present application is directed to an apparatus that includes a hollow cylindrical threaded channel providing a circular light housing on one end and a pair of conduits passing through the other end, and a threaded nut disposed on the hollow cylindrical threaded channel with one or more elongated arms extending outward and upward from a base of the threaded nut.

Door closer adjustment with backout discouragement

An exemplary door closer includes a body, a regulation screw, and an indicator. The body includes a surface and a cavity extending from the surface into the body, and the cavity includes an internal threading. The regulation screw is mounted in the cavity and includes an external threading engaged with the internal threading. The indicator is engaged with the regulation screw and positioned at least partially within the cavity. The indicator is positioned to project beyond the surface when the regulation screw is withdrawn to a reference position relative to the body.

Multi-featured panel fastener and panel system including the multi-featured panel fastener

A panel fastener is provided that has a head having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface; an engagement feature on the first surface of the head, the engagement feature being configured to be engaged by a driving tool; a shank extending from the second surface of the head; a threaded portion extending from the shank, the threaded portion having first and second helical threads arranged in an intertwined manner; the first thread extending farther radially from the central axis than does the second thread; and the shank being located between the head and the threaded portion.

Sealing bolt, locking system and method of locking/unlocking

A sealing bolt for sealing a container (e.g. for fissile materials), the sealing bolt adapted to cooperate, in use, with a locking device for locking a container lid to a container body of the container. The sealing bolt includes an upper part (i.e. adapted to be manipulated by an operator using a tool), a lower part (cooperating with the locking device 46) and an axial rod connecting the upper and lower parts, the upper part, lower part and axial rod being arranged coaxially about an axis. An integrity element is disposed in the upper part and a release arrangement (a detachable conical end-piece 24 retained by a ball 34 and recess 32 arrangement) is disposed so as to be releasably attached to the lower part. The sealing bolt is movable, through a first operator actuation of the upper part, from a first state, in which the integrity element is intact, to a second state, in which the integrity element of the sealing bolt is visibly broken. The sealing bolt is movable, through a second operator actuation of the upper part, from the second state to a third state, in which the release arrangement is released, thereby enabling disengagement of the locking device and removal of the lid from the container body. A locking system for a container, a method of releasably sealing a container, and a method of unsealing a container, are also disclosed.

DEVICE FOR SECURING A PNEUMATIC SPRING WITH AN ACOUSTIC DECOUPLING FUNCTION

A device for fastening an air spring to a body portion of a motor vehicle, at least comprising an air spring cover, wherein the air spring cover comprises at least one fastening means, by means of which the air spring can be connected to the body portion of the motor vehicle, wherein, for attachment of the air spring, the fastening means is plugged through an opening of the body portion and is fixed to said body portion in a force-fitting manner by a securing element, wherein a first and a second plastics part are provided for acoustic decoupling of the air spring, wherein the first plastics part, is clamped between the body portion and the securing element, and the second plastics part is provided so as to be positioned below the body portion.

LEVELING FASTENER
