TANK COVER AND COVER SYSTEMS
A cover assembly generally includes a lock channel, flush mounted panels, a fastener, and a nut. Advantageously, the cover and cover systems are corrosion resistant and/or high strength, comprised of removable panels, offer easy installation and access, may be high strength fiber reinforced plastic, offer life cycle cost savings, may be compression sealed, have long relatively maintenance-free life, and/or are customizable.
Trim attachment assembly for mounting solar panel equipment
A channel having a base portion, an open central region, and an integral pair of sidewalls. The integral pair of sidewalls having an upper portion of each sidewall that includes an inward-facing downturned internal flange and an outward-facing upturned external flange.
Clamp assembly
The present invention relates to a clamp assembly for securing a variety of equipment. The clamp assembly comprises a top portion, a bottom portion, a first side and a second side. The top portion comprises a first surface and a second surface separated by a first channel that is configured to receive an accessory. The bottom portion has a cavity for mounting the clamp assembly on a structure. The first side comprises a first securing hole and a second securing hole, each configured to receive a first securing means and a second securing means. The second side comprises a second channel for receiving the accessory and a first blind hole and a second blind hole for securing the first securing means and the second securing means received through the first securing hole and the second securing hole.
Accessory mounting track with one or more discrete locking positions
An accessory device is provided with one or more physical interlocks for mating with a slot provided along an accessory mounting track, or alternatively, with discrete physical mating interlocking features provided along an accessory mounting track, such as along opposing sides of the slot. In this way, the accessory device can be mounted along the slot in a lengthwise direction of the accessory mounting track or perpendicularly or transversely to the lengthwise direction of the accessory mounting track. When mounting in a lengthwise direction of the accessory mounting track, the accessory device is prevented from moving along the accessory mounting track when sufficient frictional forces are applied. When mounting perpendicularly or transversely to the lengthwise direction of the accessory mounting track, the interlocks mate with the interlocking features to prevent movement of the accessory device along the accessory mounting track.
Universal clamp assembly
Embodiments herein disclose a universal clamp assembly for clamping a solar panel. The universal clamp assembly comprises a securing means to secure a support structure, the support structure configured to couple with a rail of the solar panel and a shock absorbing member disposed between the securing means and the support structure to keep the securing means in place during installation. The securing means comprises a first channel, a second channel, a first securing hole, at least one first hole, at least one first pin, a protruding structure and a grooved wall. The support structure comprises a second securing hole to secure a securing member disposed through the first securing hole of the securing means, thereby joining the securing means and the support structure, a first lateral wall, a second lateral wall, a first coupling member and a second coupling member to secure the universal clamp assembly in the rail.
PIERCING NUT AND METHOD FOR FIXING THE SAME TO INNER SURFACE OF MATING MEMBER HAVING CLOSED SECTIONAL SHAPE
A piercing nut according to the present invention includes an internal thread 11, a ring-shaped punching part 12, a ring-shaped groove 16, and a bearing surface 17. The internal thread 11 is formed at the center of a nut main body 10. The ring-shaped punching part 12 protrudes around the outer periphery of the internal thread 11. The ring-shaped groove 16 is formed around the outer periphery of the ring-shaped punching part 12. The bearing surface 17 protrudes around the outer periphery of the ring-shaped groove 16. The height h of the ring-shaped punching part 12 is equal to or lower than the height H of the bearing surface 17 in the opposite manner to the conventional technique.
Boat hull with mounting track systems
A boat hull has one or more track systems integral with a main body of the boat hull, each track system having a longitudinally extending channel comprising: a longitudinally extending channel body; and a longitudinally extending channel opening in communication with the channel body, wherein the channel body is wider in cross-section than the channel opening, the channel body is adapted to receive a fastener which has a portion that is wider in cross section than the channel opening, thereby preventing the fastener from being withdrawn from the channel body through the channel opening, and wherein the fastener can be selectively secured to the track system at a selected longitudinal position. The track systems can be used for mounting boat hull structural parts and other parts and accessories.
Rotation locking device for T-bolt
A T-bolt locking device provides positive engagement of a T-bolt with a track as well as prevents disengagement from the track when loosening the T-bolt sufficiently to allow movement of an accessory along a slot in the track to a new position. Tightening the accessory onto the T-bolt secures flanges of the head of the T-bolt against an inner surface of the track while fixing the accessory to the track. The T-bolt locking device comprises opposing tabs configured to pass through the slot in the track and receive the flanges of the head of the T-bolt, whereby the locking device is in the engaged position, preventing rotation of the head of the T-bolt in relation to the tabs. When fastening the T-bolt and locking device, if the locking device does not seat against the track surface, this indicates that the T-bolt is under-rotated and not properly engaged with the track because the opposing tabs of the locking device are contacting the upper face of the T-bolt flange. This prevents the opposing flanges of the head of the T-bolt from being received between the terminal inner surfaces of the tabs of the locking device, and thus, prevents the accessory from being tightened against the track.
CHANNEL STRUT FASTENERS
Provided herein is a fastener that may be used to secure objects to a channel strut or attach a channel strut to a structure. In an arrangement, the fastener is a fastener block configured for disposition within the interior of a channel strut. The fastener block has a body that includes at least one aperture that extends through the fastener block between upper and lower surfaces. A fastener receptacle is formed around the aperture. A standard nut or bolt may be inserted into the fastener receptacle.
CHANNEL STRUT FASTENERS
Provided herein is a fastener that may be used to secure objects to a channel strut or attach a channel strut to a structure. In an arrangement, the fastener is a fastener block configured for disposition within the interior of a channel strut. The fastener block has a body that includes at least one pair of spaced apart and parallel recesses (e.g., recessed channels) sized to engage the inward lips of the strut channel. Once the pair to recessed channels engage the strut channel lips, the fastener block is prevented from rotating. At least one aperture extends through the fastener block between the parallel recessed channels. A fastener recess (e.g., hexagon recess) is recede into the block around the aperture. A standard nut or bolt may be inserted into the fastener recess.
