Accessory rod assembly for a cable manager
An accessory rod assembly for positioning cables and cable management accessories in a cable manager includes a base member, an accessory rod, and a rotatable knob. The base member has a front, a rear, and two sides, the front including a forward-facing socket, the rear including a first hook protruding rearwardly therefrom, and one of the two sides including a threaded portion. The accessory rod has an extruded construction and a generally uniform, at least partially cylindrical cross-sectional shape along its length. The at least partially cylindrical cross-sectional shape is defined by two opposed arcuate portions interconnected by a midsection portion. Adjacent edges of the two opposed arcuate portions define a drop-in T-slot channel that extends along the length of the accessory rod. The rotatable knob has a handle and a threaded end received within the threaded portion of the base member.
Nut holder assembly and method for mounting attachments to a slotted member
A nut holder assembly for use in bolting an attachment to a slotted supporting member by bolts received in a one of a respective nuts included in the nut holder assembly.
Mounting track for retaining a mount assembly
A mounting track includes a track section having a track base, two vertical track-rails, and horizontal track-beams laterally-spaced-apart from each other by a first distance. An endpiece is attachable to the track section and includes an endpiece base, a vertical endpiece rail, and horizontal endpiece beams. When attached to the track section, the track base and the endpiece base align, the vertical track-rails and the vertical endpiece rail align, and the horizontal track-beams and the horizontal endpiece beams align to form a continuous track within which a retention element of a mount assembly can move. The endpiece includes an insertion zone where opposing portions of the horizontal endpiece beams are spaced-apart from each other by a second distance that is larger than the first distance to facilitate insertion of the retention element into the track.
Quick-threaded rod locking device and method
A device for securing threaded rod relative to concrete and metal decking is provided. The device can include a housing with a securement portion and a flange, at least two plunger pieces that can be disposed within the securement portion, a first biasing member that can be arranged within the securement portion to urge the plunger pieces into engagement with the threaded rod, a bracket that can be disposed around a portion of the housing to provide rigid positioning of the housing to secure the housing perpendicular to the metal decking when concrete is poured over the metal decking, and a second biasing member that can be disposed around a portion of the housing to bias the flange away from the metal decking.
Housing for a fastener of a vehicle component
Methods and systems are provided for a housing for a fastener of a vehicle component. In one example, a housing for a fastener includes a central conduit adapted to receive the fastener, and a radial key extending outward from an outer surface of the housing. The radial key is first pressed against a vehicle component in an axial direction of the housing to form a first section of a channel within an interior of the vehicle component, and the key is then rotated against the interior to form an undercut, second section of the channel in a circumferential direction of the housing.
Channel Fastener
The present invention relates to a fastener for mounting an object to structure having a C-shaped channel having a slot and flanges on either side thereof, the fastener comprising a bolt having a head sized to pass through the channel slot and a washer comprising a washer hole, the washer being configured to pivot about an axis substantially perpendicular to the shank of the bolt when the bolt extends therethrough, wherein the washer is pivotable between an insertion configuration, such that a bolt head and the washer may be inserted into the slot of the C-shaped channel and an engaging configuration, wherein the washer engages with the channel flanges, preventing withdrawal of the fastener from the channel.
ARTICLE CARRIER TRACK SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to an article securing system for a motor vehicle. The system has a linear track having a generally C-shaped configuration which is secured to the vehicle. The track has a pair of inwardly projecting flanges which are spaced apart to form a linear slot, and a pair of interstitial spaces adjacent the flanges. The spacing between the flanges forms a first dimension. A load restraining component is included which has a base portion with a neck portion extending therefrom. The neck portion has a second dimension slightly less than the first dimension such that minimal play exists between the neck portion and the flanges of the track. A T-shaped clamping element is included which has a neck portion configured to engage with the base portion, and a pair of spaced apart teeth configured to fit within the interstitial spaces of the track. Tightening of the clamping element clamps the base portion to the track, and the neck portion and the teeth cooperate to prevent deformation of the flanges as the clamping element and the base portion are tightened to one another.
TWIST-LOCK SOLAR MODULE CLAMP
A twist-lock clamp to attach a solar module to a rail system includes a spring between a top clamp and a t-nut, with features on the spring and top clamp to restrict rotation relative to each other. The t-nut includes features allowing rotation of about 90 degrees when the t-nut is inserted in a rail, but restrict rotation beyond about 90 degrees. The spring serves to hold the top clamp and t-nut apart while allowing the twist-lock clamp to resist sliding in the rail during installation.
Hanging three dimensional grid system for lighting, data, and power
A three dimensional grid system for lighting, data, and power equipment that can be used to position both the grid system as well as any equipment mounted upon it above the user and away from or otherwise off the surface of their work area for optimum productivity. The grid system may include both manual and motorized lifters, so that the grid system may be raised or lowered for maintenance and configuration changes. Clamps hold equipment and move along the tubing for optimum equipment placement, and motorized equipment lifters raise and lower devices to/from the work area. For the motorized lifters, software is included that communicates with the device across internet connections and gives users the ability to reconfigure their work area remotely, without touching the device.
CONVEYOR WITH GUIDE RAILS TO SUPPORT A DIVERT UNIT
A conveyor that includes a conveyor frame, a first guide rail assembly, a divert unit having a switch assembly, and an alignment key is described. In this regard, the first guide rail assembly is positioned on a first portion of the conveyor frame such that rails of the first guide rail assembly extends along a length of the conveyor. In some examples, the first guide rail includes a first guide rail and a second guide rail positioned parallel to the first guide rail. Further, the first guide rail defines a groove along a length of the first guide rail assembly. Furthermore, according to some examples, the switch assembly defines a key slot. The key slot is adapted to enable the alignment key to pass through the key slot and further into the groove of the first guide rail, thereby, aligning the switch assembly on the first guide rail.
