The disclosed technology is directed to methods, products and systems for streamlining the process of playing bingo. This patent is directed to a computer application whereby a computing device such as a mobile phone captures one or more likenesses of a bingo card(s) using the camera function of the device. Optical character or image recognition software and algorithms interpret and store the card(s) and corresponding characters. When characters are called for matching with the bingo cards in play, the called character is entered into the computing device. The application compares the called character to those captured by the computing device to identify instances of matches on each card in play until a winning card is identified and the player is alerted of the win, or until the game is over.

The contestant will send the printed document to a centralized processing center by way of a publically available delivery service. Once received at the processing center, the contestant's unique OMR code found on the printed document is optically scanned and compared to information in the web server contestant data base. If the OMR code is found in the data base a match status flag is set within the contestants' record. Once the match status flag is set the contestant may check the sweepstakes web site to see if he or she is an instant or scheduled winner.

An electronic gaming machine and a method are provided which generates outcome presentations from a Class 2 or a central determination game outcome. A database stores RNG seeds that correspond to various presentations. To generate the outcome presentations, the RNG seeds are retrieved from the database and random numbers are generated from the RNG seeds. These random numbers are then used to generate the outcome presentations for the Class 2 or central determination game outcome. The RNG seeds may be stored as a series of RNG seeds which may be individually accessed to eliminate certain outcomes or sort certain outcomes prior to presentation.

If the bingo game outcome is a winning outcome, the processor is also configured to determine an award value associated with the winning outcome, and to obtain an award quotient based at least in part on the award value and a value of at least one multiplier of the plurality of multipliers. In addition, the processor is configured to determine a winning reel outcome associated with the award quotient, where the winning reel outcome includes a winning plurality of symbols. The processor is also configured to control the at least one display device to display the winning plurality of symbols in the matrix of symbol positions.

A system or method for providing a bingo game in which a pattern of player indicia on a player card is matched to house indicia selected during the game. The system or method includes providing a first player card of a plurality of player cards that each include a plurality of player indicia and a pattern that includes at least a portion of the player indicia, using a device to randomly select a plurality of house indicia, determining whether a triggering criterion is met during the bingo game, and awarding a prize for each player card that achieves a partial pattern match with the selected house indicia upon the determination that the triggering criterion has been met. The partial pattern match is achieved by matching the selected house indicia with a predetermined number of player indicia, but not all of the player indicia, within the pattern.

A bingo game system provides for new features and functionality for a bingo game platform, including a dynamically resizable wheel segment for a wheel-based game.
