METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AN EVENT-LINKED LOTTERY GAME
A method for conducting a lottery game is described. The method provides a plurality of tickets acquirable by participants in the game, including an entry in a ticket Pool corresponding to a ticket acquired by a participant. A number of ticket drawings are distributed from a first drawing to an N.sup.th drawing at predetermined intervals prior to an event. An entry from the ticket pool is randomly drawn as the first drawing, and a first prize is awarded to the participant to whom the first drawn ticket belongs. An entry is randomly drawn from the ticket pool as the N.sup.th drawing, wherein the N.sup.th drawing corresponds to a certain event; and an N.sup.th prize is awarded to the participant to whom the N.sup.th drawn ticket belongs. Tickets remain in the ticket pool from the first drawing to the N.sup.th drawing.
SHARE TABLE ISSUANCE DEVICE, SHARE TABLE ISSUANCE METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A share table issuance device (1) issues first through N-th share tables (T1 to TN) to first through N-th object persons, respectively. N represents an integer of 2 or greater. The first through N-th share tables (T1 to TN) each include first through N-th ticket fields (D1 to DN), first through N-th share fields (E1 to EN), and an object person field (Cn). The same draw ticket is allocated to n-th ticket fields (Dn) included in the first through N-th share tables (T1 to TN). n represents an integer from 1 to N. A share written in an n-th share field (En) included in an n-th share table (Tn) differs from a share written in an n-th share field (En) included in a k-th share table (Tk). k represents an integer from 1 to N, which differs from the integer represented by n.
Enhanced security instant tickets via homogeneous utilization of display/overprint/backing and variable indicia
A printing method or system for making a security-enhanced scratch-off document and the document so made are disclosed. The security-enhanced document includes a substrate, variable indicia, at least one other printed portion having background noise, and a scratch-off-coating layer applied over the variable indicia to maintain the variable indicia unreadable until the scratch-off-coating is removed by being scratched off. The variable indicia includes ink having a signal-to-noise ratio relative to the background ink noise of the document's at least one other printed portion, such that the variable indicia are unreadable with reference to the at least one other printed portion when the scratch-off-coating remains intact. Additionally, digitally imaging countermeasures to unassisted and assisted mechanical SOC lift are also disclosed. These methods and systems enhance the overall appearance of the ticket as well as potentially reduce the time and setup costs between print runs.
Lottery game system, product and method with encrypted planar displays
A lottery system, ticket product and method incorporate a lottery ticket product having encrypted planar displays, wherein results are revealed through malforming the ticket, such as by manipulating the ticket to decrypt information contained on the ticket.
Bingo card holder system
The bingo card holder system is configured for use in a game of bingo. The game of bingo further comprises one or more bingo cards and a plurality of bingo markers. The bingo card holder system organizes the one or more bingo cards. The bingo card holder system displays each of the one or more bingo cards. The bingo card holder system secures each of the one or more bingo cards in a fixed position during game play. The bingo card holder system comprises a master surface and a fastening loop. The master surface is a modular structure that receives, displays and secures the one or more bingo cards such that the position of each of the one or more bingo cards does not shift during game play. The fastening loop is used to truss the modules of the master surface during storage.
Marking system and method and scratch-off game card incorporating same
A game card incorporates a marking system having one or more layers of varnish or rubber-based material that is removable when applied to a substrate and one or more overlying screens having a pattern of opaque ink elements printed on the removable layer or layers such that the ink elements are blended into smooth tones when viewed by the human eye. An optional underlying screen provides another pattern of opaque ink elements underneath the removable layer. The marking system and method of the present invention permit a wide range of combinations of designs and security measures, while ensuring that indicia printed on the game card are visible so that players can scratch or otherwise remove the removable layer and at least a portion of the overlying screen as a way of marking the underlying indicia. Whether the underlying screen is employed or not, once the removable layer is removed, the underlying indicia on the game card is surrounded by a background that is visibly distinct from the color viewed when the removable layer is in place and has not been removed.
Peel-away security covering for a ticket
A solution for concealing confidential information that is printed at the point of sale in a game of chance utilizing a more common type printer designed for printing on a standard grade and biodegradable direct thermal paper. This system can print and cut each individual ticket in variable lengths. The unique and innovative concept of this new system allows a second and separate biodegradable substrate to be collated in a continuous stream over top of the printed ribbon before it is cut away and delivered into the presenter. The second substrate contains a strip of a specially formulated adhesive and is adhered to the top surface of the printed ribbon as the two substrates join together while passing through mechanical nip rollers. The confidential printed information is now covered and the combined substrates are cut and delivered as one ticket unit. The ticket information is revealed by easily peeling away the adhered top layer.
System and method for digital branding of lottery tickets
A method and system generate an image of a lottery ticket with a branding mark indicating that the lottery ticket was presented for redemption and is thereafter void, wherein the lottery ticket is presented by a patron at a terminal having a digital image capture device. At the terminal, a digital image of the lottery ticket is generated with the digital image capture device and presented on a display. The image is modified on the display to include a branding mark indicating that the lottery ticket has been presented for redemption and is thereafter void. At the terminal, a copy of the modified digital image of the lottery ticket is printed and presented to the patron.
Scratch-off document altering and copying countermeasures
A full-color protected document, and methods and systems for making same, secured by a removable Scratch-Off Coating, where the protection against document alteration and/or copy type attacks is provided by digitally imaging Benday patterns and/or digital imaged background patterns around the variable indicia. By printing Benday patterns and/or imaged background using the same process color imagers, usability and integrity of the protected document are achieved relative to the consumer's perspective while at the same time providing a more secure, less expensive, and more aesthetically pleasing document design.
