In one preferred form of the present invention, there is provided hook system 10 for hanging school bags 18. The hook system 10 comprises: a body 10 providing a series of protective recesses 14 each having a projection 16. Each projection 16 allows a school bag to be hung therefrom using a top hanging strap 20 of the school bag 18. Each protective recess 14 shields the corresponding projection 16 to assist with preventing personal injury or eye damage associated with a person accidently moving towards the projection.

Hook with ligature-resistance for suspending personal items from a wall or door

A ligature-resistant wall hook for coats, towels, or other personal items, provides ligature-proof operation by rotation of a hook tab when the applied weight is over a threshold weight and by other included features. A baseplate having a planar rear surface is mounted to a wall or door and has a rotating tab attached for receiving and retaining the personal article. A restoring-force-providing member restores the rotating tab to an upward position. The ligature-resistant wall-mountable hook also include a cover for covering the baseplate and having an aperture through which the extension projects. An exterior profile of the cover above the aperture at each side of the aperture extends outward from the baseplate and downward at an angle exceeding 30 degrees from the perpendicular direction, so that a loop formed around the rotating tab and the cover and pulled downward is drawn outward to contact the rotating tab.

A universal support hook includes an elongated pin having a plurality of juxtaposed hangers rotatably mounted thereon. Each hanger includes a C-shaped gripping member with a hinge barrel at an upper end thereof. The hinge barrel includes a central, transverse bore that receives the pin to allow the hanger to freely rotate within a 360-degree range. When any desired number of hangers are raised to a vertical position, their C-shaped gripping members can be secured to a tubular or thin support structure, such as a passenger-seat tray, a closet rod, a chair frame or a shopping-cart handle. The remaining hangers freely hang from the pin to provide a hook for suspending handbags, jewelry items, garments and other similar personal items from the support structure.

MOUNTING DEVICE TO SECURELY HANG A WIDE RANGE OF OBJECTS TO A WALL
20240133420 · 2024-04-25 · ·

The present invention relates to a mounting device to securely hang objects to the wall. The mounting device has a support member and a hook portion. The support member has a plurality of nipple members through which a plurality of nail members can be driven into the wall. The nipple members are positioned on an angle to support and offset the weight of heavier objects. The support member also has apertures in a V-shaped configuration. The user can hammer larger screws through the apertures for securing the support member onto denser walls. The mounting device also has a hang member. The hang member has smaller apertures and a large opening. The smaller apertures are used to secure the hang member onto the object to be hung itself. The large opening couples the hang member to the hook portion, allowing the mounting device to securely hang the object to the wall.
