DEVICE FOR CONNECTING AND RELEASING CONNECTION BETWEEN TWO ELEMENTS
A device for connecting and releasing a connection between two elements. The device comprises a body to which an attached element is fastened and to which a first connecting member is pivotably attached. The first connecting member is releasably connected with a second connecting member fastened to a detachable element. A release member is movably attached to the body. Between the body and the release member there is a resilient element. A connecting and releasing pivotal movement of the first connecting member is caused by acting on the first connecting member with the active release member and/or the active second connecting member. The device comprises an adjusting assembly which allows a user to change a magnitude of a force needed to release the connection.
INVERTED FIT HANGER
A garment hanger has a body for supporting a garment and an attachment mechanism for coupling the garment hanger to a garment rod. The attachment mechanism is mounted on a top central portion of the body and has a first semi-circular ring member, a second semi-circular ring member, a bracket, and a spring means. Each semi-circular ring member has a first end and a central aperture in proximity to a second end. The bracket has a central horizontal portion and two vertical portions on opposite sides of the central horizontal portion. The first and second semi-circular ring members are mounted in a mirrored direction between the two vertical portions by a shaft passing through a central aperture in each of the two semi-circular ring members. The spring means is coupled to force the first ends of the two semi-circular ring members towards each other.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A LIGHTING DEVICE
A lighting device includes a body, a lighting module, and a cap. The body may include a cavity, the cavity including an aperture. The lighting module may be in the cavity and include a push button switch. The cap may cover the aperture and include an outward side and an aperture side having a protrusion. The protrusion and push buttons switch may be positioned such that they are proximate and when the cap is pushed inward near the protrusion, the protrusion pushes the push button switch and activates the lighting module. The cap may include a ridge surrounding the protrusion on the outward side, the ridge preventing the protrusion from being pushed into the push button switch, unless the cap is pressed at approximately a location of the protrusion.
Structure climbing safety device
A safety device comprising a support harness that includes at least one safety cable, and preferably a pair of safety cables. The end of the safety cable has a snap hook designed to releasably connect to the structure. In application, the safety harness is worn by the worker and as the worker ascends or descends the structure, the worker continuously releases and then connects one of the snap hooks to the structure such that at least one safety cable is connected to the structure at all times. The safety harness includes sensors for detecting whether the worker is ascending or descending the structure, for detecting whether at least one of the snap hooks are connected to the structure, and detecting when the worker is attempting to open the snap hook.
Carabiner
A carabiner includes a swivel loop and a body rotatably coupled to the swivel loop about a rotational axis. The body includes a spine having a spine axis that intersects the rotational axis at an intersection point disposed within the connection between the swivel loop and the body. The carabiner also includes a captive eye formed completely within the spine. The body and the captive eye being both rotatable relative to swivel loop.
Systems and methods for carabiner gate automatic locking
An automatic carabiner gate locking system and method of operation. The system includes a frame, a gate, a gate biasing system, and a gate locking system. The gate locking system further includes a set of rotatable latching sleeves disposed over the gate. When the gate is in the closed state, the latching sleeves independently rotate between an unlocked state in which the gate is free to pivot and a locked state in which the gate may be prevented from pivoting with respect to the frame. The locked state further includes rotationally orienting the latching sleeves over the gate frame coupling region. The unlocked state further includes rotationally separating the latching sleeves to expose a locking recess over the gate recess, thereby allowing the gate to pivot. A second embodiment of the present invention relates to a method of automatically locking a carabiner gate.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A KEY OPTIMIZED DOUBLE GATED CARABINER
A carabiner apparatus includes a carabiner body, the carabiner body having a first portion and a second portion, the first and second portion defined by a G-arm, the first portion including a carabiner opening, the G-arm adjacent to the carabiner opening. The carabiner further includes a first gate, the first gate oriented to close and open the carabiner opening. The carabiner further includes a second gate, the second gate extending from the G-arm to a portion of the carabiner body, the second gate when closed separating the first portion of the carabiner body from the second portion of the carabiner body.
Top Tube Adaptor
A top tube adaptor contains: a body, two fixers, and a slidable rod. The body includes at least one slot, and a respective positioning rack has multiple teeth. The slidable rod includes a channel and a locking seat for accommodating a rotatable connector. The rotatable connector includes two shafts, a press portion, a button, an orientation segment, an engagement portion, and a first resilient element. A respective fixer includes a curved hook, a cutout, two tabs, a coupling projection, a column, and a second resilient element. The second resilient element has two abutting segments, one of the two abutting segments abuts against the two tabs, and the other abutting segment contacts with or removes from the coupling projection so as to close or open the cutout. The two fixers are connected with two ends of the slidable rod respectively.
MULTIFUNCTION CARABINER
The present invention extends to a carabiner intended for use as an adjustable anchor or a belay device. In general, implementations include a carabiner that includes a frame defining a hole and a gate. More specifically, implementations include a carabiner having a spine with an elongated slot portion having a first slot wall and a second slot wall that define a hole through the spine of the frame. Additionally, some implementations include a carabiner kit with a first carabiner having an elongated slot portion on the spine, a second carabiner, a pinching mechanism formed by linking the first and second carabiners together, and a rope that goes through the elongated slot portion, around the second carabiner, and back out the elongated slot portion of the first carabiner to enable the pinching mechanism to selectively pinch the rope for use as an adjustable anchor or a belay device.
CUSHIONED CARABINER CLIP
The present invention relates to an improved carabiner system, including an impact-dampening cushion around the external surface of the frame for cushioning damage during a fall or collision and to reduce sound from loose or swinging carabiner collisions. Additional surface routing and through holes provide improved register between the carabiner frame and the over-molded cushion layer.
