FOOTMAN LOOP CLIP
20200232496 · 2020-07-23 ·

A footman loop clip includes a body and a bend formed in the body such that an end of the body is inboard of the bend, the body having an aperture. A pin passes through the aperture and has a pin head on one end, and a pull feature on the other end. A spring biases the pull feature toward the body. The pull feature is biased toward the body and when the pull feature is pulled a gap is formed and increased between the pin head and the end of the body.

RETRACTING PINS FOR SECUREMENT DEVICES

A securement device is disclosed to aid in the movement or suspension of equipment or people through the air or along inclined surfaces using rope, cable, wire, or similar component and associated lifting, winching, lowering devices, mechanical advantage systems or manual power by retaining a system component between a yoke and a load pin using a load pin assembly. The load pin is biased into a locked position through the use of a biasing member but may be moved from a locked position to a retracted position by journaling a lock pin through a lock slot. Some embodiments restrict movement of the load pin using a track pin and a track slot, while other embodiments use the interaction of a lock ring and a keyed recess formed in the yoke. The securement device may be incorporated as part of a rigging plate.

Fastener

A fastener for releasably securing a member including a body including a shank and a recess, the recess configured for receiving the member. A gate is mounted to slide axially on the shank between a closed position closing a mouth of the recess for retaining the member, and an open position. Resilient means engages the gate and the shank to urge the gate to the closed position, and latches are mounted on opposing sides of the gate, wherein each latch is self-closing and engages the body for holding the gate in the closed position providing an auto-locking fastener that, for greater security, requires three independent actions for release.

FIXING BUCKLE AND HARNESS COMPRISING ONE SUCH BUCKLE
20190022436 · 2019-01-24 · ·

The fixing buckle comprises first and second securing parts provided with coupling elements one of which defines a hook. A closure system is configured to define a first position preventing extraction of the first coupling elements from the second coupling elements and a second position allowing insertion and extraction of the first coupling elements. The closure system comprises first and second closure plates each having a first position obstructing the hook and a second position configured to remove the first coupling elements. The first position of the first closure plate is configured to prevent movement of the second closure plate from its first position to its second position. The second closure plate separates the first coupling elements and the first closure plate along an extraction channel defined by the hook.

Magnetic clasp animal leash assembly
10117421 · 2018-11-06 ·

A magnetic clasp animal leash assembly for connecting to an animal collar having at least one metallic leash attachment ring defining an aperture. The assembly having a first member and a second member moveable with respect to one another between a closed position and an open position. The two members have an internal surface creating an aperture in a closed state. Outer ends of the two members are spaced from one another creating a clear passage with respect to the internal surface defining the aperture in an opened state. A magnet is located opposite from the clear passage proximate to the internal surface of the aperture. An actuator assembly is engageable with the two members to drive the two members toward the open position.

Latch improvement for overhead frame corners
12085121 · 2024-09-10 ·

Improved latches for overhead corners which reduce the susceptibility of bundled frame components becoming unlatched and separated due to insufficient torque of latch knobs or to repeated shock. The improved latches retain the prior art notched latches along with their strength and simplicity, but are capable of absorbing shock by accommodating a rotational dynamic present in a latch-to-strike connection rather than attempting to prevent it. One of two styles of moveable, pressure-actuated latch keepers is joined to a notched latch of an overhead frame. One style of keeper provides a barrier into the latch's notch, while another style of keeper provides a barrier relative to the strike's features. The latch keepers provide a predetermined amount of resistance to a radial force applied to the latch. This force retains the strike into the latch's notch in a fully-seated orientation, yet allows for the beneficial shock-absorbing rotational movement of the latch to the strike. This use of pressure-actuated keepers eliminates the need for the prior art latch knob and thus also eliminates the subjectivity associated with determining the proper degree of torque required to sufficiently secure the latch to the strike under a range of conditions.

Connector for animal

A connector for an animal has a stopper mechanism for enabling or disabling a slide bar to be pushed back. The connector for an animal includes a hook member; a stem portion extending from an end of the hook member in a first direction; a slide bar for being reciprocated in the first direction to open or close the hook member; a lock member for being installed around the stem portion to rotate therearound with the first direction as a rotation axis; and an operating member for being connected to the slide bar so as to protrude in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the lock member including a cylindrical member with a cylindrical space formed therein for housing the stem portion rotatably and projection extending from a part of the hook member side end of the cylindrical member toward the hook member by a predetermined length.

Safety lock catch

The invention discloses a safety lock catch, which comprises a lock body, a lock bolt, a force component and a thumb wheel; the lock body comprises a mounting portion and a hook portion, the hook portion has a first end and a second end, the first end is connected with the mounting portion, the second end is bent toward the mounting portion and there is a gap between the second end and the mounting portion, and a chamber is provided in the mounting portion; The thumb wheel is pivotally connected with the mounting portion, the thumb wheel is engaged with the lock bolt, and the lock bolt can be moved from the first position to the second position by the drive under the thumb wheel. The safety lock catch provided by the invention is not easy to fall off when used, and has better safety.
