OVERHEAD RAIL ATTACHMENT
A rail attachment for supporting a support rail includes two rail brackets engaging with and securing the support rail therebetween, a connector securing the two rail brackets to one another and including an attachment unit suspending the rail brackets and support rail, each the rail bracket including a support section engaging and secured to the support rail and each bracket further including a first connection section extending over the support rail, an intermediate region and a distal region whereby the distal region is spaced from the support section by the intermediate section and wherein the distal region is of a greater length than the intermediate region as considered in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the intermediate region spaces the distal region from the support section, and the connector including a second connection section securing the distal regions of the rail engagement brackets relative to one another.
ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR SECURING A FASTENING ELEMENT
The invention relates to an assembly for securing a fastening element to a first component, wherein the first component has a passage opening for a shaft of the fastening element, said assembly comprising a securing element, which reaches around the shaft of the fastening element, wherein a head part of the fastening element and the securing element are arranged on opposite sides of the first component and the shaft of the fastening element engages in a receptacle of a second component for the frictional and/or interlocking connection of the two components. According to the invention, the securing element is pre-fastened to the second component before a first connection of the first component to the second component and is separated from the second component and reaches around the shaft of the fastening element after a first release of the connection between the first component and the second component.
SCREW CONNECTION
The invention describes a screw fastening for fixedly joining together two components, and has a first component, which at one edge thereof has a rib-shaped joining region, as well as a joining member, which is arranged fixedly at said joining region, a self-tapping screw and a second component. The second component is joined fixedly to the joining member and the first component by way of this screw. The joining member has a hole along the first component on the first side thereof, and has an abutment portion, which is arranged on a second side, remote from the first side, of the first component. The joining member has a slot-like recess at the abutment portion, through which the first component extends. The hole in the joining member protrudes over the first component, such that the screw screwed thereinto is screwed into the first component in a thread formed by said screw.
Structural assembly and method of assembly thereof
Assemblies comprising first and second assembly members attached to one another via a connection arrangement and methods for forming such assemblies.
Cast-in place anchor with lockable jaw assembly
An anchor assembly is disclosed for suspending objects to a concrete structure. The assembly includes an anchor housing having a jaw assembly therein and a opening for receiving an anchor member such as a threaded rod. The jaw assembly includes threaded rods having a threaded opening, a wood form anchor assembly and a metal decking anchor assembly. The wood form and the metal decking anchor assemblies may accommodate the anchor housing and the anchor housing is used in one of the wood form anchor assembly and the metal decking anchor assembly. The metal decking anchor assembly includes a nose-piece and the anchor housing is selectively connectable to the nose-piece via a locking connection such as a bayonet connection.
STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY THEREOF
Assemblies comprising first and second assembly members attached to one another via a connection arrangement and methods for forming such assemblies.
Structural assembly and method of assembly thereof
Some embodiments are directed to an assembly having a first cardboard assembly member, a second cardboard assembly member and a connection arrangement. The connection arrangement can connect together the first and second cardboard assembly members, and can include a set of first connector elements and a set of second connector elements. Each of the first connector elements can have a first segment fixedly received within the first assembly member, and a second segment that projects from the first assembly member and received within the second assembly member, the second segment extending along a first longitudinal axis parallel to two parallel faces of the second assembly member. Each of the second connector elements can extend along a second longitudinal axis normal to the first longitudinal axis, and be received within the second assembly member and pass through the two parallel faces of the second assembly member.
Nut fastener assembly
A nut fastener assembly includes a nut assembly and a fastening clip. Opposite sides of the bottom of the nut assembly are provided with a pair of protrusions. The fastening clip includes a pair of lugs arranged on opposite ends of the fastening clip and extending towards the nut assembly, and a pair of receiving channels configured to respectively penetrate the pair of lugs. At least one of the pair of lugs is an adjustable lug including a blocking part and an elastic part. The distal end of the elastic part is movable relative to the distal end of the blocking part. The corresponding protrusion in the pair of protrusions can enter the corresponding receiving channel through a space between the distal end of the blocking part and the distal end of the elastic part to be held in the receiving channel.
Corner piece for mechanically interlocking frame members
A corner piece is provided for interconnecting frame members. The corner piece includes a first plate member defining an inner face, an opposite outer face, a first side face, an opposite second side face, and an end face. The first plate member including a bolt-receiving bore therethrough. A second plate member defines an inner face contiguous with the inner face of the first plate member, an outer face, a first side face, an opposite second side face, and an end face. The second plate member includes a bolt-receiving bore extending between the inner face and the outer face thereof along a first axis generally parallel to the inner face of the first plate member.
FASTENING ARRANGEMENT
A fastening arrangement for fastening at least two components together may be utilized in a motor vehicle. The fastening arrangement may include a plurality of screw-on brackets provided on a first component, and a number of retaining pegs provided on a second component. The screw-on brackets may include a through hole that may receive a respective projection of the number of retaining pegs when the first component and the second component are assembled with one another. At least one retaining pegs may include a cover plate that may facilitate receiving an associated screw-on bracket laterally and clip the screw-on bracket between the at least one retaining peg and the cover plate.
