PROCESS AND ASSEMBLY FOR PRODUCING AN EXTRUDED FLEXSHAFT COVER INCORPORATED INTO A MODULAR MOTOR BRACKET
A method and assembly for providing multi-stage extrusion of an article exhibiting an open interior. A multi-stage extrusion operation includes a first stage extrusion for receiving an initially extruded or otherwise pre-existing inner sleeve and extruding a surrounding sleeve and a plurality of radially projecting portions. A second stage subsequently extrudes an outer circular sleeve about the radially projecting portions. A third stage extrudes at least one wing portion to an outer edge of the outer circular sleeve.
DISPOSABLE FLEXIBLE DRIVESHAFT
A flexible driveshaft includes a proximal coupler and a distal coupler each configured to couple to a respective component of an instrument, and a flexible shaft having a proximal end connected to the proximal coupler, a distal end connected to the distal coupler, and a longitudinal axis. The flexible shaft may include a sleeve, and a core having a first end and a second end. The core is housed within the sleeve. The flexible shaft also includes a plurality of coils arranged around the longitudinal axis in at least one layer.

SHIFT LINKAGE ASSEMBLY FOR A MANUAL TRANSMISSION
A gear selector assembly configured to establish a mechanical connection between an operator of the vehicle and a gear selector of a manual transmission. The gear selector assembly includes a gear shift lever and a shift linkage assembly. The gear shift lever includes a shift output member configured for rotational and axial movements in response to the movements of the gear shift level. The shift linkage assembly includes a shift cable rod having a flexible cable, a flexible housing surrounding the flexible cable, and a housing jacket surrounding the flexible housing. The flexible cable includes an input end configured to operably connect to the shift output member for receiving the rotational and axial movements, and an opposite output end configured to operably connect to the gear selector for transmitting the rotational and axial movements to the gear shift selector.
SHIFT LINKAGE ASSEMBLY FOR A MANUAL TRANSMISSION
A gear selector assembly configured to establish a mechanical connection between an operator of the vehicle and a gear selector of a manual transmission. The gear selector assembly includes a gear shift lever and a shift linkage assembly. The gear shift lever includes a shift output member configured for rotational and axial movements in response to the movements of the gear shift level. The shift linkage assembly includes a shift cable rod having a flexible cable, a flexible housing surrounding the flexible cable, and a housing jacket surrounding the flexible housing. The flexible cable includes an input end configured to operably connect to the shift output member for receiving the rotational and axial movements, and an opposite output end configured to operably connect to the gear selector for transmitting the rotational and axial movements to the gear shift selector.

A drain cleaner including a snake configured to be inserted into a drain, a conduit through which the snake extends, where the conduit includes an attachment member, and a linkage including a first engagement element on a first end and a second engagement element on a second end opposite the first end. The first engagement element is coupled to the attachment member of the conduit. The drain cleaner further includes an adapter having a first end coupled to the second engagement element of the linkage and a second end configured to be received by an operation portion of a power tool.

A hydraulic actuator includes a tool unit (10) having a tool that operates by pressurized oil generated by a hydraulic pump (40), a driving unit (60) that generates a rotation torque, and a torque transmission coupler (70) to one end of which the tool unit (10) is detachably attachable and to other end of which the driving unit (60) is detachably attachable and that transmits the rotation torque generated by the driving unit (60) to a rotatable member (41) of the tool unit (10). The torque transmission coupler (70) includes a flexible rod-like shaft (74) and a flexible cover (72) that surrounds an outer peripheral surface of the shaft. The torque transmission coupler (70) is bendable as the shaft (74) and the cover (72) have flexibility.
