The control arm (1) pivots about the pivot axis and the angle measurement device has a sensor (3) and a signal emitter. The sensor (3) is arranged on the control arm (1), in the area of the pivot axis, and the signal emitter is arranged on the pivot bearing (2).
Adjustable ball joint
An apparatus is described for interconnecting a steering knuckle and lower suspension arm. The apparatus includes a ball joint assembly having a height adjustment feature and a non-concentric ball and shaft that together allow for increased range of camber adjustment.
BALL JOINT AND DUST COVER
Provided are a ball joint and a dust cover of which a seal part can be prevented from being impacted due to great swings of a ball stud. A dust cover 100 includes a deformable body part 110, a fixed part 120 provided to the body part 110 on one end side and fixed to the socket 200, and a seal part 130 provided to the body part 110 on another end side, the seal part 130 has an elastic body part provided integrally with the body part 110 and having an inner peripheral seal part 131 which is configured to slide on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 310 and a reinforcement ring 150 embedded in the elastic body part, and a tip end surface of the reinforcement ring 150 on a knuckle 400 side is at least partly exposed from the elastic body part and is in contact with the knuckle 400.
CAPTURE PIN FOR A LOCKING HOOK
An aircraft landing gear includes a landing gear provided with a yoke supporting a spindle on which is mounted a capture pin to be hooked by a hook of a locking box to be mounted on a structure of an aircraft to immobilize the landing gear in a given position with respect to the structure. The capture pin includes a body provided with a longitudinal opening enabling the capture pin to be mounted on the spindle, and an outer surface of revolution having a central portion having a convex profile to cooperate with the hook. A central portion of the outer surface is formed on a central ring which is mounted so as to rotate freely on a central portion of the body.
DETERMINING ESTIMATED STEERING DATA FOR A VEHICLE
Techniques for using ball joint sensor data to determine conditions relevant to a vehicle are described in this disclosure. For example, in one example, the ball joint sensor data may be used to determine estimated steering data. The estimated steering data may be directly used to navigate through an environment, such as by the vehicle relying on the estimated steering data when planning, tracking, or executing a driving maneuver. Also, the estimated steering data may be used to verify the reliability of other steering sensor data used to navigate through the environment.
PHOTOVOLTAIC TRACKER DRIVELINE JOINT
A driveline joint may include a driveline shaft that has a plurality of slots and a shaft coupling positioned in an interior of the driveline shaft in which the shaft coupling includes one or more openings with each of the openings corresponding to one or more respective slots of the plurality of slots included in the driveline shaft. The driveline joint may include one or more spherical bearings that are each positioned between an interior lateral surface of the driveline shaft and an exterior lateral surface of the shaft coupling and against one of the openings of the shaft coupling. The driveline joint may include one or more fasteners, wherein each of the fasteners extends through one of the slots and one of the openings of the shaft coupling.
Universal socket
A universal socket includes a barrel seat, a resilient member and a rotating component. The barrel seat has an inner wall surface having four receiving surface portions, and four linking surface portions each connected between two adjacent ones of the receiving surface portions and having two flat surface segments. The rotating portion is retained in the barrel seat, and has four corner surfaces corresponding in position to the receiving surface portions, respectively, and four contacting surfaces each connected between two adjacent ones of the corner surfaces and biased by the resilient member to abut against one of the flat surface segments.
Lever with pre-attached self locking nut for a variable turbine geometry turbocharger
An actuator assembly for a variable turbine geometry (VTG) turbocharger is disclosed. The actuator assembly may include an actuator and an actuator linkage having a first end coupled to the actuator and a second end defining a linkage joint. The actuator assembly may further include a VTG lever having a ball stud bore extending through the VTG lever. Additionally, the actuator assembly may include a ball stud including a first end partially disposed within the linkage joint and a second threaded end extending axially through the ball stud bore. Furthermore, a nut may be aligned with the ball stud bore and movably attached to the VTG lever prior to extending the ball stud through the ball stud bore, wherein the ball stud engages with the nut and fastens the ball stud to the VTG lever to operatively couple the VTG lever to the actuator linkage.
Pressure supply unit for a brake system of a vehicle
A pressure supply unit for a brake system including a booster body that defines an axially extending cylinder. A piston is slideable within the cylinder. The piston defines a bore that receives a spindle. The spindle is rotationally fixed and axially moveable for providing the axial movement of the piston. A motor is positioned about the spindle and is configured to axially translate the spindle and piston. A ball and socket joint connects the piston and spindle while accommodating pivoting movement of the spindle. The ball and socket joint includes a ball at a front end of the spindle and a socket in the bore of the piston which receives the ball.
