Bearing and bearing protector apparatus and methods
Bearing and bearing protector with improved performance characteristics, reduced material use, lower cost of manufacturing and maintenance. Bearing protector includes air permeable element (e.g., wool, felt) that is configured to allow passage of air while preventing dust and other particulars from entering the bearing thereby improving bearing operation and longevity. Felt may be impregnated with a lubrication fluid to provide additional lubrication and protection. A self-lubricating bearing (SLB) is manufactured from an engineering plastic and is fitted with integrated bearing protector. The self-lubricating bearing includes one or more linear groves. When fitted onto an axle, the groves may receive excess plastic material that may occur during thermal expansion of the bearing during operation due to friction and heating. Plastic material may include an antifiction agent and the groves may be packed with consistent lubricant in order to reduce friction and improve performance.

Conveyor pulley apparatus and methods
Conveyer pulley with improved performance characteristics reduced metal use, lower labor use manufacture, assembly and maintenance. The pulley includes a tubular housing, an axle pre-fitted with disks supports, two plastic endcaps press-fitted into the housing. Two self-lubricating plastic bearings with integrated bearing protectors are fitted onto the axle and into the end caps and are being kept in place by two retaining rings. Protector element of the bearing is fabricated from felt that is impregnated with a lubrication fluid. Inner grooves of the bearings may be packed with consistent lubricant.

A roller assembly includes two outer rings rotatably mounted on a shaft by a respective set of rollers positioned between the shaft and each of the respective one of the outer rings. The shaft has a head flange on one end thereof and a groove formed therein at a distance from the head flange. A retainer ring is positioned in the groove and another retainer ring is secured to the shaft at a distance from the groove. The retaining ring is configured to space the two outer rings apart from one another so that the two outer rings are operable and rotatable independent from one another.

A roller device comprises: an attachment bolt; a roller mounted on the attachment bolt, wherein the roller is configured as a roller unit including at least one attachment bush, a bearing, and a roller; and a fastening system to releasably fasten the bush of the roller unit to the attachment bolt. The fastening system comprises a clip fastening system to mount the roller unit on the attachment bolt without using tools. The clip fastening system comprises a radially encircling groove in the inner surface of the attachment bush, a radially encircling groove in the surface of the attachment bolt, and a flexible securing ring.

A pull rod is fixed on the gland, the outer wall of the floating column is connected with the inner hole of the shaft sleeve, two ends of the spring B are respectively connected with the gland and the floating column.

Mount system with bearing race friction lock assembly for agricultural machine
A steering cylinder mount system with a bearing race frictional lock assembly for an agricultural machine is provided that frictionally secures a bearing's inner race with respect to another component in a manner that ensures the bearing's inner and outer races rotate with respect to each other in preference to rotating the inner race with respect to an internally arranged supporting component. The bearing race friction lock assembly may frictionally engage multiple surfaces of the spherical bearing's inner race to lock the inner race with respect to its inwardly arranged supporting component(s).
