Engine bearing damper with interrupted oil film
Aspects of the disclosure are directed to an engine oil damper comprising: a bearing support, and a housing radially outward from the bearing support and co-axial with the bearing support, where at least one oil flow restrictor is formed with respect to at least one of the bearing support and the housing, where the at least one oil flow restrictor is configured to at least partially interrupt a flow of oil in an annulus radially defined between the bearing support and the housing.
Sealing device for bearing unit
A sealing device for a bearing unit, having a stationary part, which is in turn provided with a first metal screen, an elastomer coating co-moulded on to the first screen, and a radially inner contact lip belonging to the elastomer coating, and a rotatable part provided with a second metal screen with which the contact lip makes a sliding contact, the sealing device being provided with at least one appendage which faces a radially inner flanged ring of the bearing unit and interacts with this flanged ring to form a barrier against the entry of contaminants.

BEARING ASSEMBLY
A bearing assembly configured to rotationally support a first component relative to a second component includes at least one bearing and at least one closure element configured to close an opening in the first component, which opening is disposed axially adjacent to the bearing. The closure element may be a cured body of foam that conforms to the shape of the opening or a ring mounted on the first component such that it covers the opening.

Rope wheel assembly, compensator and elevator arrangement
A rope wheel assembly of an elevator includes a frame, a plurality of rope wheels for guiding ropes of the elevator, and a plurality of bearings. The rope wheels are mounted coaxially on the frame such that they are rotatable relative to the frame as well as relative to each other. The rope wheel assembly includes a central shaft passing through the rope wheels, which central shaft is non-rotatable relative to the frame, and the rope wheel assembly includes a hollow cylinder surrounding the central shaft, the hollow cylinder being mounted on the central shaft rotatably relative to the central shaft, each said rope wheel being mounted on the cylinder rotatably relative to the cylinder. The rope wheel assembly includes a bearing axially between rope wheels that are next to each other via which bearing they are supported on each other in axial direction. A compensator and an elevator arrangement implementing the rope wheel assembly are also disclosed.

Internal chamber rotation motor, alternative rotation
Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a rotation device in an RTP chamber. The rotation device includes a cylindrical inner race, a plurality of thrust bearings and a plurality of radial bearings. During operation, the bearings create a gas cushion preventing the rotating parts from contacting the stationary parts.
