Capturing and transmitting data of a bearing of a steel mill or rolling mill
A device for capturing and transmitting data of a bearing of a steel mill or rolling mill includes a sensor with a data processing unit arranged in a bearing housing capturing and storing data of a bearing. A data transmission unit in the bearing housing wirelessly transmits data of the sensor to a remote receiver. An energy receiving unit in the bearing housing receives energy wirelessly and transmits it to the data transmission unit and the data processing unit. An energy source with an energy transmitting unit arranged outside the bearing housing supply the energy unit wirelessly. The energy transmitting unit is covered by the bearing housing and is arranged on or in a structural part which adjoins the bearing housing and is part of the supporting structure of mill and remains on the supporting structure of the mill when the bearing housing is removed for maintenance purposes.

A turbine engine comprises a rotor shaft and a roller bearing supporting the shaft in rotation along an axis. The bearing comprises an inner ring, an outer ring, and rolling elements engaged between the inner and outer rings. The inner ring has a first axial end annular portion that is more exposed to heat during operation than a second axial end annular portion thereof. The turbine engine further comprises an oil injection device configured to supply the rolling elements with oil for lubrication of the latter. In order to homogenise the temperature of the inner ring, the latter comprises through-holes formed in the first axial end annular portion and distributed around the axis in order to allow for a circulation of oil coming from the oil injection device through the first axial end annular portion, thereby providing additional cooling to the first end annular portion.
BEARING APPARATUS
A bearing apparatus includes two bearings that rotatably support a main spindle, a spacer arranged between the two bearings, and a communication module arranged in the spacer. The bearing includes an inner ring and an outer ring made of a metal and a plurality of rolling elements arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring. The communication module contains a plurality of sensors and a communication apparatus that wirelessly transmits a result of detection by the sensors. An outer dimension of the inner ring of the bearing is set to be smaller than an inner dimension of the outer ring of the bearing. The rolling element is made of silicon nitride through which electromagnetic waves can pass.

In an aspect of the present disclosure there is provided a temperature monitoring system, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for a wheel assembly and a monitoring device engageable with the hub of a wheel assembly. There is provided a sensing unit mounted proximal to at least one or more bearings of a wheel hub supporting rotation relative to a spindle, and configured for detecting and transmitting at least temperature and motion information thereof. A receiver is configured for wirelessly receiving the at least temperature and motion information from the sensing unit and wirelessly re-transmitting the information to a portable electronic communication device.

A fluid pump for a motor vehicle includes a pump wheel which is co-rotatably connected with a driving device via a rotor shaft, and a shaft bearing system for the rotor shaft. The shaft bearing system includes a bearing receptacle having a support flange, and a first and a second ball bearing. The first and the second ball bearing are each fixed to a radial outside of the rotor shaft, are each axially shiftable within the static bearing receptacle, and are positioned at opposite axial sides of the support flange. An outer race of the first ball bearing contacts the support flange. An outer race of the second ball bearing is axially preloaded away from the support flange via a preload spring. The first and the second ball bearing are each radially supported within the static bearing receptacle only by an elastic support ring which radially surrounds the outer races.

The disclosure relates to a head bearing assembly for a dental or surgical handpiece, comprising an outer sleeve, in which at least four radial bearings are arranged, which enclose an axis of rotation and each have their own bearing outer ring or a common bearing outer rings, wherein the bearing outer rings are surrounded radially on the outside by the outer sleeve in the circumferential direction about the axis of rotation, and each radial bearing has at least one or exactly one rolling element row with rolling elements which are arranged one behind the other in the circumferential direction and rolling in the respective bearing outer ring. The head bearing assembly according to the disclosure is characterized in that the at least four radial bearings have a common, integral bearing inner ring on which the rolling elements are arranged in rolling contact.

A bearing apparatus includes a bearing that rotatably supports a main spindle around a rotation axis, a spacer including an inner-ring spacer adjacent to an inner ring of the bearing and an outer-ring spacer adjacent to an outer ring, and a heat flux sensor provided in an inside surface of the outer-ring spacer. A distance in a direction along the rotation axis from a center of the bearing to a center of the heat flux sensor is longer than 0.5 time and shorter than one time of a dimension of the bearing in the direction along the rotation axis.

A wheel head monitoring unit includes a first sensor unit, a second sensor unit and an evaluation unit, wherein the first sensor unit detects and/or is configured to detect at least a first measured value of a first wheel head, wherein the second sensor unit detects and/or is configured to detect a second measured value of a second wheel head, wherein the evaluation unit is configured to compare the first measured value with the second measured value and/or the first measured value with a predicted first measured value and/or time derivatives or integrations thereof, wherein the evaluation unit is configured in particular to output and/or store a signal if the difference of the first measured value from the second measured value and/or of the first measured value from the predicted first measured value exceeds a threshold value.
