Rolling bearing
A rolling bearing, in particular a center-free large rolling bearing, having two concentric ball races with one ball race comprising a groove open toward the other ball race and the other ball race comprising a scraper ring engaging into the groove, wherein the scraper ring is supported at the groove in the axial direction of the rolling bearing by at least two axial bearings arranged at oppositely disposed scraper ring front sides and wherein the scraper ring is supported in the radial direction by at least one radial bearing which is arranged on a scraper ring jacket surface. The scraper ring is supported in the axial direction at the groove by a third axial bearing, wherein two axial bearings are arranged at the same side of the scraper ring at separate raceways offset from one another in the axial direction of the rolling bearing.
Eccentrically bored sleeve for locating a bearing
A bearing assembly includes a sleeve and a bearing located within a bore of the sleeve. The sleeve extends between an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface at least partially defines the bore, which extends through the sleeve. The inner surface is configured eccentric to the outer surface. The bearing includes a plurality of rolling elements arranged between an inner ring and an outer ring. The outer ring is mounted to the sleeve.
Wheel bearing arrangement for a vehicle
A wheel bearing arrangement for a vehicle, having rotatable and statically fixed components, and at least two rolling body bearings arranged radially between the rotatable and statically fixed components for rotatably mounting the rotatable component. The at least two rolling body bearings have in each case an inner ring, an outer ring, and a rolling body row arranged therebetween. A spacer sleeve is arranged at end sides of the respective inner rings for axially securing the two inner rings. A respective securing ring is arranged fixedly on the respective inner rings so as to rotate therewith. The securing rings each have a substantially axially configured lug with a respective radial embossment arranged in a respective groove configured on an outer circumferential face of the spacer sleeve, in order to connect the respective inner rings axially to the spacer sleeve via the respective securing rings.
TOOL HOLDER AND MACHINE TOOL
A tool holder of a machine tool, in which the machine tool includes a spindle head and a spindle supported by the spindle head, includes: a shank portion attached to the spindle; a rotary portion integrally provided to the shank portion and to which a welding tool (processing tool) used for friction stir welding is attachable; a bearing mechanism (bearing) supporting the rotary portion so that the rotary portion is rotatable; and a bearing holder holding the bearing mechanism, in which the bearing holder is disposed facing the spindle head and is capable of transmitting a load applied to the bearing mechanism to the spindle head.
WIND TURBINE BEARINGS
In one aspect, a dual pitch bearing configuration for coupling a rotor blade to a hub of a wind turbine. The dual pitch bearing configuration including a first pitch bearing and at least one additional pitch bearing disposed axially a distance L.sub.B from the first pitch bearing. The dual pitch bearing configuration further including one or more spacers disposed between the first pitch bearing and the at least one additional pitch bearing and extending the distance L.sub.B. The dual pitch bearing disposed radially within one of a blade root of the rotor blade, a hub extension or a bearing housing and coupled thereto. The dual pitch bearing configuration minimizing moment loading on the first pitch bearing and the at least one additional pitch bearing. A wind turbine including the dual pitch bearing configuration is further disclosed.
PIVOT CRADLE BEARING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PIVOT CRADLE BEARING
A pivot cradle bearing (1) having a pivoting element (2) which is mounted to pivot in a housing (3) is provided in which an inner bearing shell (7), on which rolling bodies (4) are rolling, is held on the pivoting element (2). The inner bearing shell (7) is held by rivets (10) in a form-fitting manner on the pivoting element (2) in the circumferential direction of the bearing shell (7).
FORAGE HARVESTER
A forage harvester is disclosed that includes a cutterhead assembly and two frame parts between which the cutterhead assembly is rotatably suspended. The forage harvester assembly is held on both frame parts by a clamp bearing that defines a rotary axis. Contact points between an element on the frame part side and an element on the assembly side of the clamp bearing lie on a spherical surface centered on the rotary axis.
PRE-TENSIONED ROLLING ELEMENT MOUNTING
A pre-tensioned bearing assembly, including: a first rolling bearing including a first outer ring, first inner ring including a first conical surface, and a plurality of rolling elements radially disposed between the first inner and outer rings; a second rolling bearing including a second outer ring, a second inner ring including a second conical surface, and a plurality of rolling elements radially disposed between the second inner and outer rings; a shaft including a shoulder in contact with the second rolling bearing; a first conically-shaped sleeve in contact with the first conical surface and the second conical surface, and including a cylindrical inner surface; a second conically-shaped sleeve in contact with the cylindrical inner surface; and a shaft nut including an internal thread in cooperation with the shaft, and fixing the first inner ring and the second inner ring axially onto the shaft.
Bearing removal tool
The present invention relates to a tool for expediting the separation of different components of a wheel hub. The tool includes a base and a top that is rotatably connected to the base. The tool may also include a bearing that is connected to the base and to the top, where the bearing enables the rotation of the top relative to the base. A portion of a wheel hub may be located relative to the top, after which the wheel hub and top can be rotated. While this occurs, a heat source can be applied to a portion of the wheel hub to enable even heating. As a result of this heating and related expansion, a first wheel hub piece may be separated from a second wheel hub piece.
Bearing assembly for rotary electric machine
A wedge for securing a bearing and a bearing sleeve to an end bell of a rotating electric machine includes an annular base extending about a centerline and having an inner surface defining an opening through the base for receiving the bearing and the bearing sleeve. The base includes opposing first and second ends spaced circumferentially from one another by a gap for allowing relative movement therebetween during securing of the bearing and the bearing sleeve to the end bell.
