Double-structure bush and bearing assembly comprising same
The present disclosure relates to a double-structure bush usable in a joint portion which operates in low-speed and high-load, and a bearing assembly comprising the same.
CONNECTOR FOR CONNECTING FIRST AND SECOND MEMBERS
A connector for connecting first and second members includes a body formed of a composite material including reinforcing fibers embedded in a plastic matrix made of resin, and having a fastening zone for the first member and a housing. A ball joint is swivelable within the housing of the body and has a bore for the fastening of the second member. A first fibrous strip, or a coating, has a coefficient of friction less than or equal to 0.1 and is positioned between the housing and the ball joint in contact with the ball joint. A second fibrous strip having a coefficient of friction greater than or equal to 0.2 is positioned between the housing and the ball joint in contact with the housing.
LUBRICATION-FREE PIECE FOR A RAILWAY DEVICE
The disclosure relates to a lubrication-free piece having a friction surface that rubs against a second surface, the lubrication-free piece having at least one structure made from spheroidal graphite cast iron or steel, the external surface of the piece including at least one layer of lubricating thermoplastic polymers, wherein the lubrication-free piece includes a nickel/aluminium-based intermediary layer between the spheroidal graphite cast iron or steel structure and the layer of lubricating thermoplastic polymers.
Abradable dry film lubricant and the method for applying same and article made therefrom
An article with an abradable dry powder coating thereon comprises an abradably coated article with a substrate surface and having at least one coating of a liquid primer on the substrate surface and then coating with at least one abradable dry powder coating on the surface of the liquid primer. The sequence of layers may also be reversed, or additional layers may be useful. The abradable dry powder coating is formed of a dry powder coating composition including a thermoset resin having a cure temperature combined with at least one filler material, wherein the filler is formed of a material which does not melt substantially at or below the cure temperature of the resin, whereby an abradable coating results employing a filler to make the coating. A method of making a composition for coating an article with a coating curable into an abradable coating is also disclosed, comprising melt-mixing an evaporative carrier-free mixture of a dry powder thermoset resin having a cure temperature, to form a mass composite, wherein the filler is formed of a material which does not substantially melt at or below the cure temperature of the resin, cooling the mass composite, and breaking the cooled mass composite into powder particles, thereby forming the composite powder composition.
Wear pad, telescopic boom assembly and work machine
The present invention pertains to a wear pad for a telescopic boom of a work machine, comprising a base part configured to be fixedly mounted to the telescopic boom, and a top layer part configured to provide a wear-resistant, low friction sliding surface. The top layer part is configured to be releasably mounted to the base part. The invention further pertains to a telescopic boom assembly for a work machine, comprising a first boom segment having at least one first wear pad assembly mounted to a free end of the first boom segment, and a second boom segment having at least one second wear pad assembly mounted to a sliding end of the second boom segment, wherein at least one of the wear pad assemblies comprise a wear pad having a base part and a top layer part configured to provide a wear-resistant, low friction sliding surface. The top layer part is configured to be releasably mounted to the base part. Further, the present invention pertains to a work machine comprising such telescopic boom assembly.
