Mechanical computer with repositionable components
A mechanical computing system configured to serve as an aid in learning fundamental aspects of coding. The mechanical computing system including a substrate having a flow path between an upstream portion and a downstream portion, and a plurality of repositionable programming members pivotably coupled to the substrate and configured to guide and interact with units dispensed along the flow path from the upstream portion to the downstream portion, wherein a first programming member is configured to pivot relative to the substrate upon interaction with a unit traversing along the flow path, and wherein a second programming member positioned upstream of the first programming member is configured to pivot relative to the substrate based on feedback from the first programming member.
Light guide plate, display device and game machine
A light guide plate formed from a panel transparent to visible light has a first incidence surface provided to form a sidewall of the light guide plate that faces a light source configured to emit visible light, and a plurality of prisms provided in a predetermined region on one surface of the light guide plate. The prisms include a reflection surface that reflects the visible light emitted from the light source and entering the light guide plate from the first incidence surface toward another surface of the light guide plate. The predetermined region is divided into a plurality of local regions corresponding to a plurality of tones in the predetermined region when seen from a predetermined viewpoint, and in each local region, the orientation of the reflection surface of the prisms distributed in the local region is established in accordance with the tone corresponding to that local region.
Display device and game machine
A light guide plate presents a plurality of patterns via prisms illuminated by light sources aligned along one sidewall of the light guide plate. Each light source corresponds to a different pattern. A storage unit stores lighting sequence information and a controller controls the turning on and off of the plurality of light sources in accordance with the lighting sequence information, thereby illuminating the patterns. Visible light emitted from the light sources to enters the light guide plate via an incidence surface. The prisms making up the patterns reflect only the visible light emitted from a light source corresponding to a particular pattern.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DROPPING BALL AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
A device and method for dropping ball and non-transitory computer-readable medium are provided in this disclosure. The device includes a launcher, a display and a processor. The launcher is configured to launch a first ball according to a control signal. The display is configured to display a gameplay frame. The processor is configured to transmit the control signal to the launcher according to a trigger signal, wherein, when the first ball dropped into a trigger unit when the launcher is launches the first ball; the trigger unit is configured to transmit a dropping ball result to the processor, and the processer is configured to transmit the gameplay frame to the display according to the dropping ball result.
Evaluation system, evaluation device, game machine, and evaluation method
Disclosed are an evaluation system, an evaluation device, a game machine, and an evaluation method for being able to evaluate a drive motor that drives various movable bodies called an accessory attached to a game machine such as a pachinko game machine. The game machine includes an accessory mechanism and a motor control mechanism that controls the drive motor of the accessory mechanism. The evaluation device is connectable to the game machine. The motor control mechanism controls the drive motor by outputting a control signal based on input from the evaluation device, and the motor control mechanism outputs a rotational position and a rotational speed of the controlled drive motor and the control signal to the evaluation device. The evaluation device evaluates the drive motor based on the input rotational position, rotational speed, and control signal.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND GAME MACHINE
A minimum display unit forming a pattern, displayable by a light guide plate of a display device, has first and second prisms with reflective surfaces in a curved surface shape that is convex relative to an incident surface of the light guide plate. The first and second prisms are configured such that a ratio of light quantities from first and second light sources having different emission colors into the light guide plate, reflected by the reflective surface of the first prism, and directed to a predetermined direction is a first ratio; a ratio of light quantities from second and third light sources having different emission colors into the light guide plate, reflected by the reflective surface of the second prism, and directed to the predetermined direction is a second ratio. The first and second ratios are set such that the minimum display unit is displayed in a predetermined display color.
Ticket redemption game and associated method
A ticket redemption game having an upright cabinet. The upright cabinet houses a cylindrical drum which may be rotated through the use of a control by at least one electric motor. In the interior of the cylindrical drum are a plurality of balls. When the drum is rotated, the plurality of balls is moved from a low point to an apex of the cylindrical drum along an interior circumference of the cylindrical drum by the aid of traction elements.
Presentation control device, game machine and program
A presentation control device includes: a first display unit which is a transmissive display unit; a transparent backlight formed of transparent material, provided relative to the first display unit opposite the viewing surface of the first display unit, and configured to emit light toward the first display unit; a light source configured to output object light to the transparent backlight where light from an object provided opposite the light emission plane of the transparent backlight is output toward the transparent backlight and the first display unit; and a display device including a controller configured to control the first display unit, the transparent backlight, and the light source so that light emitted from the transparent backlight shows an image on the first display unit, and so that the object light can pass through the transparent backlight and the first display unit and be output.
