BEARING LAMINATE COMPRISING A FOAM LAYER
A bearing laminate can include a metal support layer, a foam layer overlying the metal support layer, the foam layer including a polymeric foam; and a sliding layer overlying the polymeric foam layer, the sliding layer comprising a polymer matrix. Bearing articles made from the bearing laminate can have exceptional damping properties, such as a high damping ratio combined with a low dynamic stiffness.
Rolling bearing
To provide a rolling bearing having excellent rust prevention capability and capable of being used for a long period of time in a highly corrosion environment. A rolling bearing 1 utilized for a power generator which generates power from natural energy or for generator equipment has one or more bearing members which form the bearing having a rust prevention film formed in a predetermined region of a surface of a base material. The rust prevention film is formed by a porous film with a sacrificial anode action against the base material in the whole of the predetermined region. The porous film in a part or the whole of the predetermined region is subjected to sealing treatment which impregnates the porous film with a sealing treatment agent from a surface of the porous film. A surface of a sealing treatment body obtained from the porous film subjected to the sealing treatment is subjected to first coating treatment which coats the surface of the sealing treatment body with epoxy resin coating. A coated surface formed by the first coating treatment is subjected to a second coating treatment which coats the coated surface with urethane resin coating. The sealing treatment agent is formed by diluting the epoxy resin coating at a dilution rate of between 15 and 25%.
POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER COMPOSITION AND BEARING MATERIAL
Provided are a polyurethane elastomer composition excellent in the abrasion resistance and swelling resistance, and a bearing material formed of the polyurethane elastomer composition. The polyurethane elastomer composition contains a polyurethane elastomer of 100 parts by mass, polyethylene wax of 325 parts by mass, and paraffin wax of 110 parts by mass. Further, preferably the polyurethane elastomer composition contains a cobalt based compound of 0.110 parts by mass.
ENVELOPING LAYER-COATED SLIDE BEARING AND DRIVE MODULE
An enveloping layer-coated slide bearing includes a slide bearing having a bearing surface formed in a cylindrical shape, and a first enveloping layer formed of a thermoplastic elastomer on an outer circumferential surface of the slide bearing.
Integrated plastic shield bearing assembly
An integrated plastic shield bearing assembly including a plastic shield for preventing contamination of running surfaces of a bearing assembly is disclosed. The integrated plastic shield bearing assembly includes an inner bearing ring defining an inner race, an outer bearing ring defining an outer race, and a plurality of rolling elements supported between the inner race and the outer race. A first one of the inner bearing ring or the outer bearing ring includes a circumferential groove. The plastic shield includes a molding portion molded on to the circumferential groove of the first one of the inner bearing ring or the outer bearing ring, and a shield portion extending towards a second one of the inner bearing ring or the outer bearing ring.
Sliding engine component
A sliding engine component may include a sliding surface including a plastics polymer-based composite layer disposed on a substrate. The composite layer may include a matrix of plastics polymer-based material. The plastics polymer-based material may have 0.1 to 20 percent by volume of liquid-filled microcapsules distributed throughout the matrix, and incidental impurities.
