SLIDING MEMBER AND BEARING DEVICE USING THE SAME
A sliding member of the present embodiment includes a bearing alloy layer and a coating layer provided on a sliding surface side thereof. The coating layer has a resin binder with sulfide particles dispersed therein. A covering portion is provided over specific particles and is made of metal oxide comprising the same metal element as a metal element constituting the sulfide particles. When measured by an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and an X-ray diffraction method, a ratio of a peak height of the metal oxide to a peak height of metal sulfide by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is from 0.10 to 0.50, and a ratio of the peak height of the metal oxide to the peak height of the metal sulfide by the X-ray diffraction method is 0.10 or less.
Electrical generator and a bearing assembly for an electrical generator
A bearing assembly for an electrical generator includes a frame, a bearing liner, a bearing and a non-metallic ring. The frame is configured to connect with a housing of the electrical generator. The bearing liner is connected with the frame. The bearing is received in the bearing liner. The non-metallic ring is interposed between the bearing liner and the bearing.
Cylindrical roller bearing
The column portions of the cage includes roller holding portions which restrain the cylindrical roller on an outer diameter side and an inner diameter side thereof. The roller holding portions are formed such that a radial movement amount of the cage with respect to the cylindrical roller from a state where a revolution center of the cylindrical roller coincides with an axial center of the cage is configured so that an outer diameter side movement amount<an inner diameter side movement amount, and an outer diameter side opening width of the pocket portion>an inner diameter side opening width of the pocket portion. The column portion includes an inner diameter side protrusion which protrudes to an inner diameter side than inner circumferential surfaces of the annular portions and which configures the roller holding portions.
Bearing assembly for electrical generator
A bearing assembly for an electrical generator includes a frame, a bearing liner and a ring. The frame is configured to connect with a housing of an electrical generator. The frame includes a frame opening and is made from a first material. The bearing liner connects with the frame. The bearing liner is made from a second material, which is dissimilar from the first material. At least a portion of the bearing liner passes through the frame opening. The ring surrounds the bearing liner. The ring contacts the frame and the bearing liner and maintains a clearance between the portion of the bearing liner passing through the frame opening and the frame.
SLIDABLE STRUCTURE AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A structure including a sliding layer that is formed on a roughened surface of a substrate and that has an excellent slidability, and a method for producing the structure. The sliding layer is formed of a powder of a carbon-composition-containing resin composition filled in at least concavities of roughness on the roughened surface.
BALL BEARING
A ball bearing for the scroll of a scroll compressor, having an outer race, an inner race and a plurality of balls disposed therebetween, characterized in that the balls are held and guided in a ball bearing cage, wherein the ball bearing cage is formed as an externally guided plastic cage with a reinforcing structure made of metal as a hybrid cage.
BEARING SYSTEM WITH SELF-LUBRICATION FEATURES, SEALS, GROOVES AND SLOTS FOR MAINTENANCE-FREE OPERATION
A maintenance-free bearing system having self-lubricating features, seals, grooves and slots for use in a cushion hitch assembly for a hitch pull scraper vehicle. An interconnected bearing linkage system having two or more horizontal two-axis combined journal and thrust bearings with self-lubricating liners therein, two or more vertical single-axis sleeve bearings with self-lubricating liners therein and one or more vertical thrust bearing with self-lubricating liners therein, that cooperate with one another to accommodate vertical and horizontal angular movement relative to one another.
ANTI-FRICTION COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Anti-friction composite material having: (A) polyimide substrate and (B) a coating layer containing a binder resin and a solid lubricant.
Composite bearings having a polyimide matrix
The present disclosure relates to bearing and seal assemblies comprising a composite structure which includes a substrate and a layer disposed on the substrate. The layer disposed on the substrate includes a polyimide matrix and a filler dispersed within the polyimide matrix. The filler can be a thermoplastic polymer, such as PTFE, and/or an organic filler. The bearing assembly can exhibit a synergistic improvement in wear resistance and coefficient of friction.
