FIRE HYDRANT
A bearing system includes a first bearing, the first bearing being annular in shape and defining a ring aperture, the first bearing including a first surface and a second surface, a second bearing being substantially the same in construction to the first bearing, a first surface of the second bearing contacting a second surface of the first bearing, wherein each of the bearings is constructed of nylon MDS.
WHEEL HUB BEARING MODULE FOR A SUSPENSION UPRIGHT OR KNUCKLE
A hub bearing module for a lightweight suspension upright or knuckle of a vehicle, the hub bearing module including a wheel bearing and a bearing connection interface to the suspension upright or knuckle, the bearing connection interface being arranged coaxial with the rolling bearing and including a first sleeve element and a second sleeve element arranged radially outside the first sleeve element and including a composite, preferably BMC (Bulk Molding Compound) annular body having a radially inner lateral surface mechanically coupled to the first sleeve element and a radially outer lateral surface configured to mechanically and chemically couple with the suspension upright or knuckle.
Bearing material, bearing and method
A bearing material may include a polyamide/imide plastics polymer material having an amine content including a fluorinated diamine and a non-fluorinated diamine.
SLIDE BEARING FOR A SUPPORT MOUNT, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SLIDE BODY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SLIDE BEARING
A slide bearing for a support mount of a motor vehicle includes a first housing part, a second housing part, and a slide bearing device arranged between the two housing parts. In embodiments, the slide bearing device includes at least a first slide body and at least a second slide body. With embodiments, at least a section of the first slide body is made of a hybrid material. A method of producing a slide body and a method of producing a slide bearing are also disclosed.
Rolling bearing for sliding door
A rolling bearing for a sliding door includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements arranged in a rollable manner in an annular space between the inner ring and the outer ring, and a jacket member formed of a resin composition and provided so as to cover the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring. The resin composition contains polyamide 66 and aramid fiber. The polyamide 66 has a number average molecular weight of 34000 to 60000. The number average molecular weight is measured by gel permeation chromatography using hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) as a solvent and poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) as a reference material. The content of the aramid fiber is 5 to 25 mass %.
ROLLING BEARING AND BEARING STRUCTURE INCLUDING SAME
A rolling bearing including a cage is provided. The cage includes, on its outer peripheral surface, a plurality of ridges protruding radially outwardly, and circumferentially spaced apart from each other. The ridges extend in the axial direction or in an oblique direction or directions relative to the circumferential direction. The ridges are capable of coming into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring through lubricating oil.
Housing for mechanical device, mechanical assembly, gear motor and associated attachment method
A method for attaching a plastic barrel configured to guide an output shaft of a mechanical device to a housing for the mechanical device is disclosed. The housing includes a chimney delimited by an upper edge and a base, the chimney being arranged to partially surround the output shaft, the plastic barrel having a lateral protuberance. The method involves at least the following steps: inserting a first end of the plastic barrel into the chimney of the housing until the lateral protuberance axially abuts against the upper edge of the chimney, and at least partially deforming the first end of the plastic barrel in order to form an axial counter-abutment.
ROLLING BEARING
To provide a rolling bearing having superior handling property and creep resistance. A rolling bearing 1 includes an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 3 that are raceway rings, and a plurality of balls 4 interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring. The outer ring 3 is fitted to a housing 10. The rolling bearing 1 includes a surface coating film 8 on an outer ring outer diametrical surface 3a that is a fitting surface with the housing 10. The surface coating film 8 contains: a binder containing two or more kinds of thermosetting resins having different average molecular weights; and a solid lubricant. The solid lubricant contains molybdenum disulfide, polytetrafluoroethylene resin, and graphite.
MILKING PLATFORM
A rotary milking platform 1 has a deck 2, a circular upper beam 4 connected to and supporting the deck, a circular lower beam 6 and a series of carriages 5 connected end to end to form a ring between the beams. The platform is formed such that the upper beam 4 is arranged to rest and rotate on the ring of carriages 5 to rotate the deck 2. Each carriage has at least one carriage roller 10, and each roller 10 arranged to rotate on the lower beam 4. Each roller 10 also has a retention flange 11 at only one side. The flanges 11 of some of the rollers 10 are at or adjacent an inner side of the ring, and the flanges 11 of others of the rollers are at or adjacent an outer side of the ring. The rollers 10 of the ring are arranged such that at least one roller is oriented with its flange 11 on an opposite side to another of the flanged rollers immediately adjacent to it. The flanges prevent the carriages from moving off the lower beam 4 when the platform 1 is in use. Further, at least some of the carriages can be disconnected from the ring and swung laterally to be moved free of the beams 4, 6 for maintenance, repair or replacement.
BALL-SOCKET GROMMET
A socket grommet formed from fiber-reinforced material, for attaching a stud pin with a head portion to a bracket, includes a body member; a first supporting member for supporting one side of the head portion; and second supporting members for supporting another side of the head portion. The first supporting member includes a supporting portion on one side of the body member and connecting portions connecting the supporting portion to the body member. Each connecting portion includes a breaking portion having a thickness less than a remaining portion thereof to be breakable upon a predetermined force. Each second supporting member includes a first connecting piece extending from the body member to another side of the body member, and a second connecting piece extending from the first connecting piece to the one side of the body member and having a supporting piece for contacting the another side of the head portion.
