PLAIN BEARING WITH IMPROVED RESISTANCE TO WEAR
Plain bearing providing an outer ring with an inner surface, an inner ring with an outer surface, the rings being symmetrical around an axis and metallic, at least on the rings being a textured ring with a texturation consisting of a plurality of micro-cavities arranged onto a textured surface. A composite self-lubricating composite liner that is interposed between the inner surface of the outer ring and the outer surface of the inner ring, so that upon sliding movement of the textured ring with respect to the composite liner, some solid particles of the liner, acting as a solid lubricant, are detached from the composite liner and migrate between the sliding surfaces until they get retained into the micro-cavities.
Method for producing a pendulum arrangement of a pendulum laser device, and pendulum laser device
A method for producing a pendulum arrangement of a pendulum laser device includes producing a universal joint of a pendulum of the pendulum arrangement by forming two orthogonal, at least partially micro-structured shafts via plastic injection moulding and positioning at least two bearing shells on the at least partially micro-structured regions of at least one shaft of the universal joint. The method further includes producing an optic carrier of the pendulum of the pendulum arrangement as a single piece with the bearing shells by overmoulding at least two bearing shells surrounding a shaft of the universal joint via plastic injection moulding. The optic carrier is connected to the universal joint such that it is configured to rotate about the one shaft.
THRUST BUSHING SURFACE LAYER USING DIRECTLY BONDED HEAT ACTIVATED NITRILE-PHENOLIC ADHESIVE FILM
A method for manufacturing a thrust washer is provided in which a phenolic resin layer is bonded directly to a bearing surface of the base material using two presses at an elevated temperature and pressure.
SLIDING MEMBER AND BEARING DEVICE USING THE SAME
A sliding member of the present embodiment includes a bearing alloy layer and a coating layer provided on a sliding surface side thereof. The coating layer has a resin binder with sulfide particles dispersed therein. A covering portion is provided over specific particles and is made of metal oxide comprising the same metal element as a metal element constituting the sulfide particles. When measured by an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and an X-ray diffraction method, a ratio of a peak height of the metal oxide to a peak height of metal sulfide by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is from 0.10 to 0.50, and a ratio of the peak height of the metal oxide to the peak height of the metal sulfide by the X-ray diffraction method is 0.10 or less.
Bearing element and sliding layer material for a bearing element
A bearing element may include a bearing substrate and a sliding layer of a sliding layer material. The sliding layer material may include a polymeric material and nanodiamonds. The nanodiamonds may also be surface-functionalized nanodiamonds. The bearing element may be suitable for automotive applications, including, but not limited, use within automotive engines.
Sliding bearing device
A sliding bearing device is proposed which comprises a bearing seating having a first sliding surface and a bearing body having a second sliding surface, wherein the bearing body is accommodated by the bearing seating and the first sliding surface and the second sliding surface face each other, wherein the bearing seating and/or the bearing body is made of an open-pore fiber composite material at least in a sliding region which forms the respective sliding surface.
BALL BEARING
A ball bearing for the scroll of a scroll compressor, having an outer race, an inner race and a plurality of balls disposed therebetween, characterized in that the balls are held and guided in a ball bearing cage, wherein the ball bearing cage is formed as an externally guided plastic cage with a reinforcing structure made of metal as a hybrid cage.
THRUST BUSHING SURFACE LAYER USING DIRECTLY BONDED HEAT ACTIVATED NITRILE-PHENOLIC ADHESIVE FILM
A layer is provided for a thrust bushing, for example a torque converter thrust bushing. A phenolic resin is bonded directly to a bearing surface of a rotating component to form the layer without any substrate.
BEARING SYSTEM WITH SELF-LUBRICATION FEATURES, SEALS, GROOVES AND SLOTS FOR MAINTENANCE-FREE OPERATION
A maintenance-free bearing system having self-lubricating features, seals, grooves and slots for use in a cushion hitch assembly for a hitch pull scraper vehicle. An interconnected bearing linkage system having two or more horizontal two-axis combined journal and thrust bearings with self-lubricating liners therein, two or more vertical single-axis sleeve bearings with self-lubricating liners therein and one or more vertical thrust bearing with self-lubricating liners therein, that cooperate with one another to accommodate vertical and horizontal angular movement relative to one another.
Failure detection device for spindle head of machine tool including a plurality of sensors
A failure detection device includes a formaldehyde sensor that detects the generation of formaldehyde, a vibration sensor that detects vibration of a spindle head, and a machine controller that detects the occurrence of an abnormality of a spindle bearing. The machine controller determines the occurrence of the abnormality of the spindle bearing and a cause of the abnormality based on a change in the output value of the formaldehyde sensor over time and a change in the output value of the vibration sensor over time.
