Adhesive, bearing with the adhesive, and methods of making
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to an adhesive layer, bearing including the adhesive layer, and methods of forming. The adhesive layer can include a mixture of a first polymer, a second polymer, and a third polymer, wherein the third polymer is a modified fluoropolymer of the second polymer. In a particular embodiment, a weight ratio of a weight content of the second polymer to a weight content of the third polymer in the mixture can be at least 12:1. In another particular embodiment, the adhesive layer can have a normalized peel strength of at least 4.8 N/in/microns.
Refrigerant compressor with wear sleeve and lubricant blends for handling debris-laden fluids
A compressor including a housing, a shaft configured to be rotated relative to the housing to compress a refrigerant, a motor configured to drive the shaft, a lubrication system configured to supply lubricant to the compressor, and a bearing configured to support the shaft. The shaft includes a wear-resistant sleeve-like treatment on at least a portion of an outer surface of the shaft adjacent the bearing. The lubricant is a lubricant blend composition that includes two or more lubricants, the two or more lubricants including a first lubricant and a second lubricant. The first lubricant is present at a higher volume percentage than the second lubricant, and the first lubricant includes a higher viscosity than the second lubricant.
GREASE COMPOSITION FOR VEHICULAR HUB UNIT BEARINGS
A grease composition for vehicular hub unit bearings is provided, in which a base oil is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil having a kinematic viscosity at 40? C. of 25-50 mm.sup.2/s, a thickener is an alicyclic aliphatic diurea compound, based on a total mass of the composition, 0.1-5% by mass of a carboxylic acid-based corrosion inhibitor, 0.1-5% by mass of a carboxylic acid salt-based corrosion inhibitor, and 0.1-3% by mass of an amine salt of a fatty acid are contained, and a worked penetration is 220-270.
Rolling device for vehicle
A rolling device for a vehicle includes an inner raceway member including first and second inner raceways; an outer raceway member including first and second outer raceways; first rolling elements disposed rollably between the first inner raceway and the first outer raceway and second rolling elements disposed rollably between the second inner raceway and the second outer raceway; and grease disposed on raceway surfaces of the first inner raceway, the first outer raceway, the second inner raceway, and the second outer raceway and rolling surfaces of the first rolling elements and the second rolling elements. The grease includes a base oil, a thickener, and additives. The grease includes a synthetic oil as the base oil. A kinematic viscosity of the base oil at 40 C. is 20 mm.sup.2/s to 50 mm.sup.2/s. The additives include a phosphorus compound, a calcium compound, and a hydrocarbon wax.
Malfunction detection device and malfunction detection method
A malfunction detection device compares detected data on a condition at a predetermined part of an apparatus with a threshold so as to determine a malfunction of the apparatus. The malfunction detection device varies the threshold in accordance with a type of a lubricant used for movable parts of the apparatus.
Grease, rolling bearing, rolling bearing device, and information recording and reproducing apparatus
Grease comprises a base oil and a thickener. The base oil contains mineral oil and poly--olefin, the proportion of the mineral oil is 10% by mass to 40% by mass in 100% by mass of the base oil, and a kinematic viscosity v.sub.1 of the mineral oil at 40 C. is higher than a kinematic viscosity v.sub.2 of the poly--olefin at 40 C. The base oil comprises a refined mineral oil that is classified as Group III in a base oil category defined by the American Petroleum Institute, and the flash point of the refined mineral oil is 240 C. or higher. A rolling bearing contains the grease, a rolling bearing device includes a shaft supported by the rolling bearing device, and an information recording and reproducing apparatus includes the rolling bearing device.
ROLLING BEARING
A rolling bearing (1) includes an outer ring (2), an inner ring (4), and a plurality of rolling elements (6) arranged between the outer and inner ring (2, 4). The rolling bearing (1) is provided with lubricant. The outer ring (2) has an outer contact width (b.sub.o) between the outer ring (2) and the rolling elements (6). The inner ring (4) has an inner contact width (b.sub.i) between the inner ring (4) and the rolling elements (6). A ratio =b.sub.i/b.sub.o between the inner and outer contact width (b.sub.i, b.sub.o) is larger than 1.65 or a ratio =b.sub.i/b.sub.o between the inner and outer contact width (b.sub.i, b.sub.o) is larger than 0.97 and smaller than 1.06 or a ratio =b.sub.i/b.sub.o between the inner and outer contact width (b.sub.i, b.sub.o) is smaller than 0.68.
ROLLING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A rolling device for a vehicle includes an inner raceway member including first and second inner raceways; an outer raceway member including first and second outer raceways; first rolling elements disposed rollably between the first inner raceway and the first outer raceway and second rolling elements disposed rollably between the second inner raceway and the second outer raceway; and grease disposed on raceway surfaces of the first inner raceway, the first outer raceway, the second inner raceway, and the second outer raceway and rolling surfaces of the first rolling elements and the second rolling elements. The grease includes a base oil, a thickener, and additives. The grease includes a synthetic oil as the base oil. A kinematic viscosity of the base oil at 40 C. is 20 mm.sup.2/s to 50 mm.sup.2/s. The additives include a phosphorus compound, a calcium compound, and a hydrocarbon wax.
LOW CREEP BEARING AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING IN SUPERCHARGER
A supercharger assembly comprises a housing, a shaft bore in the housing, a shaft extending into the shaft bore, wherein the shaft comprises an axis, and a bearing assembly located between the shaft bore and the shaft. The bearing assembly comprises an outer ring. The outer ring comprises an outer face. A grease is located between the outer face of the outer ring and the shaft bore. The grease has a viscosity greater than International Standards Organization Viscosity Grade 100.
Hub bearing
A hub bearing 1 including an outer ring 2 that serves as a stationary side raceway ring, a hub wheel 3 and an inner ring 5 serving as a rotatable side raceway ring, balls 4 serving as a plurality of rolling elements disposed between a raceway surface of the stationary side raceway ring and a raceway surface of the rotatable side raceway ring, and grease that lubricates a rolling contact part between each of the raceway surfaces and the rolling elements. The surface roughness of at least one raceway surface selected from the raceway surface of the stationary side raceway ring and the raceway surface of the rotatable side raceway ring in the rolling contact part is 0.03 m Ra or less.
