LINEAR GUIDE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINE
A linear guide includes an elongate guide body and a bearing cage, on the inner sides of which fluid pressure bearings are provided. The bearing cage moves along the guide body via the bearings. The bearing cage includes at least three interconnected plates. The plates each have an inner surface facing the guide body, an outer surface facing away from the guide body and side surfaces between the inner and the outer surface. Each plate is connected to a first other plate in a first end region and connected to a second other plate in an opposite second end region. For each of the plates: the first other plate, with its inner surface, abuts against a side surface of the considered plate, while the considered plate, with its inner surface, abuts against a side surface of the second other plate in the second end region of the considered plate.
CONNECTING SHAFT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CONNECTING SHAFT
A connecting shaft including a first shaft made of metal, a second shaft made of resin, and a collar made of metal including a first fitting portion fitting on an outer peripheral surface of the first shaft and a second fitting portion fitting on an outer peripheral surface of the second shaft. A gap between the outer peripheral surface of the second shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the second fitting portion is filled with an adhesive agent, and the adhesive agent is applied to an outer peripheral surface of the collar to cover an end face of the second fitting portion in an axial direction.
DRIVE SHAFT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A drive shaft includes a first shaft member made of metal, a tubular member made of CFRP, and a first exterior sleeve. The first shaft member is capable of being attached on one end side thereof to a first constant velocity joint, and has a first serrated part on which serrations are formed on another end side thereof. The tubular member is formed with a first fitting part fitted externally over the first serrated part. The first exterior sleeve covers the first fitting part by being disposed to extend over outer circumferential surfaces of the first shaft member and the tubular member. A film provided with a bonding assistance region and an adhesive are interposed between the outer circumferential surface of the tubular member and the inner circumferential surface of the first exterior sleeve.
BUCKLING-RESISTANT THIN-WALL DRIVE SHAFTS
A mechanical part configured to be placed under torque. The mechanical part includes an inner tube having, a corrugated web, and an outer shell. The inner tube has an outer tube circumference, a tube axial direction, and a tube length. The corrugated web has a plurality of peaks and a plurality of troughs, a height measured as a difference between one of the peaks and one of the troughs, and a web length perpendicular to the height and in the tube axial direction. The outer shell has an inner shell circumference, an outer shell circumference, and a shell length. The plurality of troughs is affixed to the outer circumference of the inner tube. The plurality of peaks is affixed to the inner shell circumference of the outer shell. The web length is aligned with the tube length and the shell length.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BALL JOINT AND/OR A CHASSIS COMPONENT, AND CHASSIS COMPONENT OF THIS TYPE
A method for producing a ball joint (18) and/or a chassis component (19), in which a joint ball (1) is made, in which the joint ball (1) is placed in an injection-molding die, in which the joint ball (1) is partially overmolded with a plastic material, and in which the plastic material is hardened to form an injection-molded joint housing (2) for the joint ball (1). A joint housing (2) is formed using the joint ball without a joint pin (10), and the joint ball (1) has respective pole surfaces (3, 4) on two sides remote from one another.
Assembly for a bearing and methods of making and using the same
An assembly comprising: a core in the form of a toroid; and at least one washer overlying the core, the washer comprising a polymer, wherein the washer has an arcuate cross-section so as to have a shape complementary to the core.
SLIDING BEARING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BEARING ELEMENT FOR A SLIDING BEARING
The present disclosure relates to a sliding bearing comprising a first bearing element and a second bearing element. The first bearing element is coated in multiple layers. An inner layer is deposited on a base material of the first bearing element by means of a vapor deposition method. The inner layer has a structure, and an outer layer designed as a PTFE impregnation layer leveling the structure of the inner layer. The second bearing element is formed of PTFE fiber-reinforced plastic or has a PTFE-containing sliding lining.
Chassis link for a motor vehicle
A component part for a motor vehicle having a hollow profile portion of a fiber-reinforced plastic and a load introduction element of a metal material. The hollow profile portion and the load introduction element are connected in a common connection portion via a nondetachable, glued plug-in connection in which an end portion of the load introduction element and an end portion of the hollow profile portion engage in one another by positive engagement. The end portion of the load introduction element has a spline with teeth extending in longitudinal direction of the common connection portion so that the stiffness of the end portion of the load introduction element reduced in longitudinal direction of the common connection portion.
PRELOADED TORQUE SHAFT AND THE FLIGHT CONTROL DRIVELINE MADE THEREWITH
Presented are a method and apparatus for an aircraft flight surface actuation system including a motor having an output shaft. A gearbox is coupled with the output shaft, whereby a first driving force output via the motor is converted to a second driving force. A torque shaft assembly is driveably coupled with the gearbox. The torque shaft assembly includes a first tube, a second tube located at least partially through the first tube and located coaxial therewith, wherein the first tube comprises an axial preload operable to mitigate lateral deflection, and wherein the first tube comprises a torsional preload operable to mitigate torsional deflection. In addition, the aircraft flight surface actuation system includes an eccentric cam mechanism driveably coupled with the torque shaft assembly, and a flight surface coupled with the eccentric cam mechanism.
Composite vehicle driveshaft with welded joint system
A composite vehicle driveshaft is provided with a composite tube and a welded joint system(s) at one or both ends of the composite tube for connecting the composite vehicle driveshaft to driveline components. Each welded joint system may include a sleeve that is bonded to an end of the composite tube and a joint assembly that is welded to the sleeve.
