NON-LOCATING BEARING ASSEMBLY
A non-locating bearing assembly includes a bearing unit configured to support a rotating component relative to a stationary component, the bearing unit including a stationary bearing ring and a rotatable bearing ring that are rotatable with respect to each other. The rotatable bearing ring is fixedly connectable to the rotating component, and the stationary bearing ring is mountable in the stationary component in a rotationally fixed but axially displaceable manner. A connector is provided between the stationary bearing ring and the stationary component to connect the bearing ring to the stationary component in an axially displaceable but substantially rotationally fixed manner, and the connection is provided by a combination of a friction fit and an interference fit acting in the circumferential direction.

The bearing housing assembly includes an end cap with a sleeve portion that mates to an interior conical surface of the bearing housing with a complementary outer bevel formed on the sleeve portion.
Gantry assembly bearing with vibration damping
A gantry assembly includes a rotor, a stator and a bearing for coupling the rotor and the stator. The bearing includes an inner ring connected with the rotor or stator, an outer ring connected with the other one of the rotor and the stator and rolling elements between the two rings. The ring connected with the stator, preferably the outer ring, includes one or more damping washers disposed between the ring and the stator, each washer being disposed about one threaded fastener connecting the ring with the stator. Also, one or more damping cylinders are each disposed within a mounting hole of the ring connected with the stator and about a threaded fastener disposed within the hole. The bearing ring connected with the rotor may also include damping washers between the ring and the rotor or/and damping cylinders disposed within mounting holes receiving fasteners connecting the ring with the rotor.
WHEEL BEARING ASSEMBLY
A wheel bearing assembly, preferably for trucks, includes a wheel adapter and a bearing unit, which has at least one first bearing ring and one second bearing ring, and a drive element. The wheel adapter is configured to connect the first bearing ring to a wheel, the first bearing ring preferably having at least one threaded bore to interact with at least one corresponding attachment means, preferably a screw, in order to connect the wheel adapter and the drive element to the first bearing ring. At least one rotation-securing element is provided that is configured to secure the connection between the wheel adapter and/or the drive element and/or the first bearing ring and/or the attachment means against rotation.

According to one embodiment, a crank portion is formed from a crank piece, an element separate from a shaft portion. The crank piece includes a fitting hole in which the shaft portion is fit by predetermined “interference” and a slit-like slot with one end opened in an inner circumferential surface of the fitting hole, and an other end closed inside the crank piece. The fitting hole is deformed so as to expand its diameter when expanding a width of the slot. The shaft portion is fit in the fitting hole of the crank piece by the predetermined “interference” when inserted in the deformed fitting hole and the fitting hole restores an original form while the shaft portion is in the fitting hole.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WITHDRAWAL OF A BEARING FROM A GATE MECHANISM
There are disclosed apparatuses and methods for withdrawal of a bearing from a gate mechanism including a mechanism housing, a carrier assembly, and discrete fasteners. The mechanism housing includes a receiving bore as well as housing fasteners and housing surfaces located about a periphery of the receiving bore and offset from one another. The carrier assembly includes a carrier housing having a carrier support mating with the receiving bore and a carrier bearing supported for rotation within the carrier housing. The carrier housing has flange fasteners aligning with the housing fasteners and the housing surfaces when the carrier housing mates with the receiving bore. The carrier assembly withdraws from the mechanism housing in response to removing the discrete fasteners from a first group of the flange fasteners aligned with the housing fasteners and inserting the discrete fasteners to a second group of the flange fasteners aligned with the housing surfaces.

Further, the pivot includes one or more second brackets. The one or more second brackets having a first member and a second member. The first member having an orifice and is configured to be fitted around the plurality of elongated members of the first bracket. The second member is coupled to the first member and has a second bracket through-hole. The pivot further includes a covering member configured to be fitted on the plurality of elongated members. The covering member includes a first part having a groove and a second part that is configured to be fitted inside the plurality of elongated members. The second part is fastened along the plurality of elongated members.

A lock nut and tang washer mechanism preloads and locks components in a rotating environment. A drive system mechanism preloads and locks the device in a rotating environment and provides a double locking safety requirement needed in most aircraft for applications operating in an enclosed environment. The mechanism holds a required torque for the duration of the drive system operating life without the need for periodic visual inspections.
