Two hybrid ball bearings and a compressor bearing arrangement
Two hybrid ball bearings and a compressor bearing arrangement with two hybrid ball bearings for a rotatable support of a rotor of the compressor versus a stator of the compressor. The two hybrid ball bearings are arranged face-to-face or back-to-back, are configured with an optimal axial clearance depending on the inner diameter of a ring-shaped inner raceway element one of the hybrid ball bearings respectively a pitch diameter of one of the two hybrid ball bearings for a long bearing life in connection with an optimal compressor operating performance.
ANGULAR BALL BEARING
A cage is asymmetrical to a radially extending straight line extending. Supposing that is the angle of contact of the rolling element, is defined as 3045. The relationship defined in the numerical expression is satisfied, where D is the outer diameter of the outer ring, d is the inner diameter of the inner ring, and Da is the diameter of the rolling element. With center axes of the whole bearing in an axial direction and of the cage in the axial direction overlapping each other, at least one of the following relationships is satisfied;
A/Da0.020 (2), and
2A/PCD0.010 (3),
where A is the smallest dimension value of a clearance in a radial direction between surfaces of a pocket of the cage facing the rolling element and of this rolling element, and PCD is the pitch diameter of each rolling element.
Integrated journal bearing
An integrated journal bearing (IJB) includes a shaft extending in an axial direction, a housing through which the shaft extends in the axial direction, the housing surrounding the shaft in a radial direction, an active magnetic bearing (AMB) arranged within the housing and surrounding the shaft in the radial direction, and at least a first fluid film journal bearing (JB) arranged within the housing and surrounding the shaft in the radial direction. The first JB is axially adjacent to the AMB such that first JB and the AMB do not share a common radial clearance, while both are commonly flooded with oil. A controller in signal communication with the AMB can be variously configured to supply current thereto to operate the AMB by controlling a magnetic force generated thereby.
Press-fit thrust bearing system and apparatus
A press-fit thrust bearing system and apparatus. A press-fit thrust bearing for an electric submersible pump includes a protruding band extending around a midsection of a bushing, the protruding band extending inward towards a drive shaft, outward towards a diffuser, or both. When extending outwardly, the band is press-fit into the diffuser to prevent dislodgment of the bushing. A non-rotating guide sleeve extends around the bushing above the protruding band, the guide sleeve interlocking with the protruding band to prevent rotation of the bushing. The guide sleeve includes a projection, the protruding band has a channel and the projection mates with the channel to form the interlock. A pair of flanged, rotatable bearing sleeves extend inwards of the single bushing and are keyed to the drive shaft. The top and bottom faces of the bushing serve as thrust handling surfaces.
HUB BEARING UNIT WITH COMBINATION DISPLACEMENT LIMITER AND SEAL
A hub bearing unit includes an inner ring having inboard and outboard axial ends and a bearing inner race on an outer surface. An outer ring disposed about the inner ring has inboard and outboard axial ends and a bearing outer race on an inner surface. One ring is coupled with a wheel and rotatable about an axis and the other ring is fixedly coupled with a frame. An annular displacement limiter extends radially from one ring and has a circumferential stop surface spaced radially from a surface of the other ring. The stop surface engages with the ring surface when the ring displaces radially relative to the other ring. A seal includes an annular sealing member coupled with one ring and is sealingly engageable with the limiter or is mounted on the limiter and sealingly engageable with one ring or a rigid seal member coupled with one ring.
BALL BEARING AND BALL BEARING CAGE
A noise due to contact of a cage of an angular contact ball bearing to an outer ring to be outer ring guided is reduced. The angular contact ball bearing includes an outer ring, an inner ring, a plurality of balls, and a cage. The cage includes a plurality of pockets for accommodating the balls arranged at circumferential intervals and the rotation of the cage is guided by the outer ring or the inner ring, which serves as a guide ring. The pocket is provided at an inner surface thereof with an engaging portion which projects into the pocket. The engaging portion engages with the ball in the pocket when the cage is moved in a radial direction prior to contact of the cage to the guide ring.
Hub unit
A hub unit that is to be installed on a vehicle is provided with: an outer ring having, on the inner circumferential surface, a first outer raceway surface and a second outer raceway surface that is disposed to the outside of the first outer raceway surface in the vehicle width direction when the hub unit is installed on the vehicle; an inner shaft that is disposed on the inside of the outer ring concentrically with the outer ring and on which a wheel is installed on the outer end in the vehicle width direction; and an inner ring that is press-fitted to the inner shaft on the inner end in the vehicle width direction.
Mixing tank steady bushing
A sanitary mixing tank steady bearing is replaceable without lifting a mixing tank shaft. The steady bearing is insertable into and removable from the bottom of a bearing support attached inside the base of the sanitary mixing tank. The steady bearing may thus be replaced by a service technician working through a man way/man hole on the top of the tank allowing service without lifting the mixing tank shaft. Gaps are provided between the bearing support and steady bearing allowing flushing material from around the steady bearing to easily maintain a sanitary environment.
HYBRID BALL BEARING PAIR AND A COMPRESSOR BEARING ARRANGEMENT
A pair of hybrid ball bearings have stainless steel rings and ceramic balls and are configured such that when the first inner ring and the first outer ring are in contact with the first plurality of ceramic balls under zero measuring load and zero mounting load and the second inner ring and the second outer ring are in contact with the second plurality of ceramic balls under zero measuring load and zero mounting load a certain gap exists between either the inner rings or the outer rings. The gap is based on the diameter of the inner ring or on the pitch diameter of the balls and on whether the bearings have an X configuration or an O configuration.
Rolling deep groove ball bearing
A rolling deep groove ball bearing includes a bearing outer ring (1), a bearing inner ring (2), a plurality of large rolling balls (3) and special-shaped rollers (4), where the large rolling balls (3) and special-shaped rollers (4) are arranged between the bearing inner ring (1) and the bearing outer ring (2), and the large rolling balls (3) and the special-shaped rollers (4) are arranged at intervals. For the rolling deep groove ball bearing, the rolling balls (3) and the bearing raceway realize the pure rolling, where high linear velocity is subjected; the bearing capacity is large; the noise is low; the reliability is high and the service life is long. The deep groove ball bearing has no gap for installing balls and is simply assembled.
