LUBRICATED ROLLING BEARING FOR BLADE ROOTS
The invention relates to a lubricated rolling bearing for blade roots including a coating made of a chemical compound of lamellar structure.
Rolling bearing
A washer (5) to be mounted to an end surface (14) of an inner ring includes an extension portion (52) extending along an outer peripheral surface (15) of the inner ring. The extension portion (52) includes an engaging projection portion (53) to be engaged with an engaging recessed portion (16) formed in the outer peripheral surface (15) of the inner ring. The engaging projection portion (53) includes a rounded curved surface portion (55), and a flat surface portion (54) formed continuously with a forward side in a pressing direction of the rounded curved surface portion (55) and inclined radially outward.
GEARBOXES FOR AIRCRAFT GAS TURBINE ENGINES
Gearboxes for aircraft gas turbine engines, in particular arrangements for journal bearings such gearboxes, and related methods of operating such gearboxes and gas turbine engines. A gearbox for an aircraft gas turbine engine includes: a sun gear; a plurality of planet gears surrounding and engaged with the sun gear; and a ring gear surrounding and engaged with the plurality of planet gears, each of the plurality of planet gears being rotatably mounted around a pin of a planet gear carrier with a journal bearing having an internal sliding surface on the planet gear and an external sliding surface on the pin.
METHOD FOR PROLONGING THE LIFE OF A PRODUCT
A method for prolonging the life of a product that is subjected to Hertzian contact stress when in use and which includes a metal surface having a mean surface profile, the metal surface having at least one crater extending below the mean surface profile and a shoulder at the crater extending above the mean surface profile. The method includes performing a remanufacturing process to remove at least part of the shoulder to produce a finished remanufactured product having all of the crater, or performing a remanufacturing process to remove all of the shoulder and a first portion of the crater and stopping the remanufacturing process before the entire crater is removed to produce a finished remanufactured product having a second portion of the crater extending from the mean surface profile.
JOINT ASSEMBLY
A joint assembly includes a housing having a concave inner cup. The concave inner cup includes an inner surface having one or more angled grooves extending around at least a portion of a circumference of the inner surface. A liner can be molded into the inner cup. The liner fills the one or more angled grooves such that the liner is mechanically secured to the inner surface of the inner cup. A corresponding cap can also include similar angled grooves and liner.
Bearing unit with sensorized shield
A bearing unit for a marble cutting machine has a radially outer ring, rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation (X) and is provided with a radially outer flange portion. Additionally, the bearing unit is provided with a stationary radially inner ring with a through hole in which the ratio between a dimension of an internal diameter (D) of the through hole and a dimension of the axial thickness (T) of the radially inner ring is between about 6.7 and about 11.1. A row of rolling bodies is interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring. A sealing shield is made of composite material and interposed between the radially inner ring and the radially outer ring, rotatable with respect to the rotation axis (X) and steadily anchored to the radially outer ring. The shield is provided with a sensor molded in it.
DOWNHOLE TOOLS WITH LOW DILUTION ZONE BEARING CLADDING AND CLADDING PROCESSES
The present disclosure relates to downhole tools containing bearings with cladding on their surfaces. The cladding contains a low dilution zone. In specific embodiments, the downhole tools may be roller cone drill bits, also sometimes referred to as rotary cone drill bits. The present disclosure further relates to processes for applying cladding to bearings.
BEARING ELEMENT AND SLIDING LAYER MATERIAL FOR A BEARING ELEMENT
A bearing element may include a bearing substrate and a sliding layer of a sliding layer material. The sliding layer material may include a polymeric material and nanodiamonds. The nanodiamonds may also be surface-functionalised nanodiamonds. The bearing element may be suitable for automotive applications, including, but not limited, use within automotive engines.
Scroll compressor having a bearing lubricating layer
A scroll compressor having a bearing is provided. The scroll compressor includes: a casing; a main frame fixed to the casing and having a shaft insertion hole formed therein; a fixed scroll fixed to the casing and disposed above the main frame; an orbiting scroll forming a compression chamber together with the fixed scroll and having a boss portion formed on a lower surface thereof; a rotational shaft having an end portion insertedly fixed in the boss portion in a state in which the rotational shaft is insertedly positioned in the shaft insertion hole; and a lubricating layer made of a PEEK material and formed in the shaft insertion hole or the boss portion, wherein the lubricating layer is formed by applying a liquid material to the shaft insertion hole or the boss portion.
Bearing ring, electrically insulating coating and method for applying an electrically insulating coating
The invention discloses a bearing ring. The bearing ring, with a body, has an electrically insulating coating made up of a ceramic layer with pores and a plastic for filling the pores and coating the ceramic layer. According to the invention, the pores have a proportion between 10 and 50% in the ceramic layer. The invention furthermore defines an electrically insulating coating, made up of a ceramic layer with pores and a plastic for filling the pores and coating the ceramic layer. The invention further still discloses a method for applying an electrically insulating coating to a body of a bearing ring.
