The bearing further providing at least one sealing element mounted radially into a cylindrical surface of the first ring assembly and provided with a sealing lip in sliding frictional contact with the second ring assembly. The bearing including at least one adjusting shim mounted radially between the first and second ring assemblies, the adjusting shim being axially located between the outer cap of the first ring assembly and the sealing element; or between the first ring of the first ring assembly and the sealing element.

ROLLING BEARING, PARTICULARLY HYBRID ROLLING BEARING FOR REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR

A rolling bearing having an inner raceway and an outer raceway and a plurality of rolling elements arranged therebetween. The rolling bearing is media-lubricated or oil-free lubricated. The lubricant forms an elasto-hydrodynamic lubricant film between the rolling elements and the raceways. At first use of the rolling bearing, at least one surface of the rolling bearing is coated with a protective fluid, preferably an oil-based preservative fluid. Also, a refrigerant compressor having such a rolling bearing.

Variable guide bearing

A guide bearing system including a pad adjuster to traverse at least one bearing in a direction to adjust a radial clearance. The system can further include a sensor for measuring deviations in the radial clearance. In some embodiments, the guide bearing system includes a controller that receives a distance signal from the sensor measuring the radial clearance and signals the pad adjuster to traverse the at least one bearing to compensate for the deviations in the radial clearance.

ALL-CERAMIC JOINT BEARING USED IN HIGH-TEMPERATURE, CORROSION AND OXIDATION-PRONE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The present invention provides an all-ceramic joint bearing used in a high-temperature, corrosion and oxidation-prone environment, which mainly includes an inner ring and an outer ring which are made of zirconia, alumina or silicon carbide ceramic materials. The all-ceramic joint bearing is assembled into a whole through corresponding assembly technologies. An inner side of the outer ring is an inner arc surface, and the inner ring is an outer arc surface. A width of the inner ring is 3-5 mm greater than that of the outer ring, and a movable swing angle of the inner ring is 0-21. The joint bearing made of the ceramic materials has an optimized structure by utilizing the ceramic material characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high hardness, non-magnetic permeability, wear resistance and self-lubrication.

Rolling bearing assembly

A bearing assembly including a chamber provided with a rolling bearing supporting a rotary shaft with respect to a fixed housing. The rolling bearing has a first ring and a second ring in relative rotation one each other, at least one row of rolling elements being arranged between the rings. The chamber having Ethanol in liquid and/or gaseous state. The rings are coated with diamond-like carbon (DLC) material.

BIOSTIMULATOR TRANSPORT SYSTEM HAVING WELDLESS BEARING RETAINER
20200346000 · 2020-11-05 ·

A transport system for delivery or retrieval of a biostimulator, such as a leadless cardiac pacemaker, is described. The biostimulator transport system includes a docking cap supported by a bearing within a bearing housing. The bearing allows relative rotation between a torque shaft connected to the docking cap and an outer catheter connected to the bearing housing. The bearing housing and the docking cap include respective bearing retainers that constrain the bearing within the bearing housing without a weld attachment. The weldless retainers of the biostimulator transport system provide a robust mechanical securement of the bearing that is not vulnerable to corrosion. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A ROLLING TECHNOLOGY OR METALLURGICAL SYSTEM

A method for operating a rolling technology or metallurgical system is disclosed. The rolling technology or metallurgical system comprises a device in which a rotating component is mounted with at least one sliding bearing. The sliding bearing is supplied with a lubricant. In order to enable improved operation of said bearings, in particular in rolling mills, a water-based, single-phase fluid to which at least one viscosity-increasing additive is added is used as the lubricant for the bearing.
