Wheel bearing device and method for manufacturing said device
A wheel bearing device (1) including: an outer member (2) on the inner periphery of which an outer-side rolling surface (2c/2d) is formed; an inner member (3) on the outer periphery of which an inner-side rolling surface (3c/3d) is formed; and a plurality of rolling bodies (41) interposed between the rolling surfaces (2c/2d/3c/3d) of the outer member (2) and the inner member (3). The wheel bearing device having a spline hole (3b) formed in a through hole (3h) of the inner member (3). The spline hole includes a guide groove (3G) formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof. A guide plate (8G) of a finishing broach (8) passes through the guide groove in the inner periphery of the spline hole (3b).
WHEEL BEARING ASSEMBLY
A wheel bearing assembly, preferably for trucks, includes a wheel adapter and a bearing unit, which has at least one first bearing ring and one second bearing ring, and a drive element. The wheel adapter is configured to connect the first bearing ring to a wheel, the first bearing ring preferably having at least one threaded bore to interact with at least one corresponding attachment means, preferably a screw, in order to connect the wheel adapter and the drive element to the first bearing ring. At least one rotation-securing element is provided that is configured to secure the connection between the wheel adapter and/or the drive element and/or the first bearing ring and/or the attachment means against rotation.
HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY
A hub bearing assembly includes a housing with a vertical bore, a bearing outer ring disposed within the bore and coupled with the housing and a bearing inner ring disposed within the bearing outer ring and having a central bore configured to receive a portion of the shaft. A set of rolling elements are disposed between the bearing outer and inner rings. An upper seal is disposed within the housing bore externally of the outer ring and includes an annular elastomeric seal body and a garter spring biasing a seal lip radially inwardly. A lower seal is disposed between the bearing outer and inner rings. Either the bearing inner ring is sized such that upper seal is disposed about the bearing inner ring or the hub bearing assembly further comprises an annular spacer disposed within the upper seal and adjacent to the upper axial end of the bearing inner ring.
SENSOR BEARING ASSEMBLY
A sensor bearing assembly includes a bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring centered on an axis, an impulse ring secured to the outer ring of the bearing, and a sensor device for detecting rotational parameters of the impulse ring. The sensor device includes a sensor housing and at least one sensor element supported by the sensor housing and cooperating with the impulse ring. Also an annular spacer adapted to axially abut against a lateral face of the inner ring of the bearing. The sensor housing is fixedly secured to the spacer, the inner diameter of the spacer is equal to the inner diameter of the inner ring of the bearing, and the outer diameter of the impulse ring is less than or equal to the outer diameter of the outer ring of the bearing.
SENSOR BEARING ASSEMBLY
A sensor bearing assembly includes a bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring centered on an axis, an impulse ring secured to the outer ring of the bearing, and a sensor device for detecting rotational parameters of the impulse ring. The sensor device includes a sensor housing and at least one sensor element supported by the sensor housing and cooperating with the impulse ring. An annular spacer is configured to axially abut against a lateral face of the inner ring of the bearing and the sensor housing is secured to the spacer. An outer diameter of the sensor housing is less than or equal to an outer diameter of the outer ring.

An encoder (63) and an elastic member (65) form a labyrinth section (8) between an outer peripheral surface (61a) of a turned-back section (613) and an inner peripheral surface (64a) of an inner fitting section (641). The labyrinth section (8) extends axially outward and radially outward, and an inner peripheral surface (63c) of the encoder (63) that covers an inner peripheral surface (61c) of the turned-back section (613) is sloped axially inward and radially outward.

Wheel hub unit with improved drainage
Wheel hub unit provided with a radially outer ring, stationary in use, a radially inner ring, rotating in use, at least one row of rolling elements, interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring, and a seal assembly, interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring, which defines cooperating with the radially outer ring or with the radially inner ring a shield of at least one labyrinth seal. The labyrinth seal does not have a circumferential symmetry but comprises an upper portion and a lower portion with respect to a symmetry axis (A) of the wheel hub unit and is provided with an angular interruption of the shield made on its lower portion corresponding to the lower side of the wheel hub unit so as to increase an outflow section thereof from the labyrinth seal itself which facilitates gravity drainage of contaminants present inside the seal assembly.
ANGULAR BALL BEARING AND WHEEL BEARING APPARATUS
A cage of an angular ball bearing includes, with respect to a plurality of balls arranged between an outer member and an inner member, an annular portion positioned on one side in an axial direction of the angular ball bearing, and a plurality of pillar portions provided to extend from the annular portion to the other side in the axial direction. The pillar portions include a first flat surface portion contactable with the balls on one side in a circumferential direction of the angular ball bearing, and a second flat surface portion contactable with the balls on the other side in the circumferential direction and parallel to the first flat surface portion.
