Torque tube coupler
A solar-tracking photovoltaic (PV) system having several PV modules mounted on a torque tube is described. The torque tube may include several sections joined by a torque tube coupler. For example, the torque tube coupler may having a medial section and end sections to join to the torque tube sections. The medial section and the torque tube sections may have a same outer diameter.

Apparatus for the actuation of a throttle valve, in particular a throttle valve of an intake system of an internal combustion engine
An apparatus for the actuation of a throttle valve, in particular a throttle valve arranged in an intake system of an internal combustion engine, uses a servomotor, in which apparatus at least one device for thermal decoupling is arranged between the throttle valve and servomotor. A shaft of the servomotor is coupled to a shaft of the throttle valve via a torque-transmitting coupling element with a definedly low heat transfer capability.

DISCONNECT SHAFT FOR INTEGRATED DRIVE GENERATOR
A disconnect shaft for use in an integrated drive generator longitudinally extending between a first end and a second end having a plurality of gear teeth extending longitudinally from a first face disposed at the first end. A cam ledge is at an intermediate location between the first end and the second end. An annular cavity is defined between an inner surface of an inner bore of the disconnect shaft and an outer surface of a radially inner portion of the disconnect shaft. A generator and a method are also disclosed.

Eccentric screw pump
An eccentric screw pump, comprising a rotor that extends along a longitudinal axis of the rotor from a drive end to a free end, a stator housing with an internal cavity that extends along the longitudinal axis from a stator inlet opening to a stator outlet opening and that is designed to accommodate the rotor, a drive motor with a drive shaft that is coupled with the rotor to transmit a torque, a first cardan joint which is placed within the transmission of the torque between the drive shaft and the rotor, and a stator outlet flange that is arranged in flow direction behind the rotor. The stator outlet flange comprises a flange connection plane that is oriented non-vertically to the longitudinal axis.
Quick Disconnect Apparatus for Modular Tooling
A modular tooling receiver that includes a wall having a port that extends through it, an engaging member that is movably disposed in the port, and a lock actuator that is disposed on a first side of the wall. The lock actuator is moveable between a first position in which the lock actuator urges the engaging member in a first direction defined from the first side of the wall to a second side of the wall and a second position wherein the lock actuator permits the engaging member to move in a second direction defined from the second side of the wall to the first side of the wall. A first biasing element biases the lock actuator toward the first position. A damper controls a rate of motion of the lock actuator from the second position toward the first position.
SHAFT COUPLING
A slotted-type rigid coupling is manufactured so that the internal-diameter dimension of a first shaft hole of a circumferentially divided shaft-fastening part is the same as that of a shaft. The first shaft hole is widened by widening force from a pressing mechanism provided with a fastening bolt, and the shaft is inserted through the first shaft hole up to a shaft insertion hole. The widening force is ceased, the first shaft hole is narrowed by fastening force from the pressing mechanism, and the shaft is securely fastened. When the shaft is securely fastened to the shaft-fastening part by the fastening bolt, eccentricity in the shaft is prevented or minimized.
Drive shaft splint joint
The Drive Shaft Splint Joint is a receptacle with a tapered interior and with a drive shaft extending from the receptacle. A bushing having a tapered body is inserted into the receptacle tapered interior and the receptacle and bushing are immovably affixed with bolts. The bushing has a keyed aperture which receives a keyway drive shaft. Push bolts allow the bushing to be urged away from the receptacle allowing the drive shaft to be disassembled.
