WHEEL BEARING ASSEMBLY
A wheel bearing assembly for rotatably mounting and supporting a wheel to a vehicle body may comprise a wheel hub; at least one inner ring;; an outer ring; and one or more rolling elements. An accommodation space in which a constant velocity joint is accommodated may be formed in a vehicle-body-side end portion of the wheel hub, and one or more recesses for accommodating rolling members of the constant velocity joint may be provided in an inner peripheral surface of the accommodation space along a circumferential direction. A boot fastening ring may be mounted on the wheel hub to mount a rubber boot configured to prevent foreign matters from flowing into the accommodation space. The boot fastening ring may comprise a spline portion on an inner peripheral surface thereof, the spline portion may be coupled to a corresponding spline portion formed on an outer peripheral surface of the wheel hub.
Drive transmitter, sheet feeding device incorporating the drive transmitter, and image forming apparatus incorporating the drive transmitter
A drive transmitter includes a first unit including a coupling portion having grooves spaced at an angle of 180 degrees in the rotational direction, and a second unit having projections spaced at an angle of 180 degrees in the rotational direction. The projections are configured to be inserted into the grooves of the coupling portion. The coupling portion has a guiding portion and a non-guiding portion. The guiding portion is sloped, with a height from a bottom face of the grooves decreasing in the rotational direction of the first unit, and is configured to guide the projections to the grooves. The non-guiding portion is disposed at a point symmetrical position to the guiding portion to an axial center of the first unit. One of the projections is not in contact with the non-guiding portion while another one of the projections is in contact with the guiding portion.
Drive transmission device and image forming apparatus
A drive transmission device includes a driving-side coupling, a driven-side coupling, and an intermediary transmission member provided therebetween. The driving-side coupling and the intermediary transmission member engage with each other so as to be movable in a first direction. The driven-side coupling and the intermediary transmission member engage with each other so as to be movable in a second direction crossing the first direction. The intermediary transmission member is held by a holding-side coupling which is one of the driving and the driven-side couplings or by a shaft member engaging with the holding-side coupling. Engagement of the intermediary transmission member with a non-holding-side coupling which is the other coupling permits a deviation angle about an axis extending in the first direction and a deviation angle about an axis extending in the second direction.
Bicycle crank with spindle attachment structure
A composite bicycle crank with an integral spindle attachment structure provides a unique method for attaching a bicycle crank arm to a bicycle crank spindle, and also for attaching a bicycle crank arm to a crank arm insert. A light-weight crank arm is able to be manufactured separately from the crank spindle or insert, and then securely attached after both pieces have been made. This allows for the pieces of the crank assembly to be manufactured from one or more different materials, and securely connected after manufacturing, to create a lower weight assembly than would be possible otherwise.
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, DEVELOPING APPARATUS, AND COUPLING MEMBER
A cartridge for an electrophotographic image forming apparatus includes a developing roller, a rotatable member for transmitting a rotational force to the developing roller, a coupling member, and a frame. The coupling member is capable of moving between a first coupling member position in which the coupling axis is substantially coaxial with the rotational axis of the rotatable member and a second coupling member position in which the coupling axis is not coaxial with the rotational axis of the rotatable member. When the frame is in a first frame position, the coupling member is in the first coupling member position and a rotational force receiving portion of the coupling member engages with a rotational force applying portion of the apparatus, and, when the frame is in the second frame position, the coupling member is in the second coupling member position and the rotational force receiving portion engages with the rotational force applying portion.
Adapter for turning a knob and methods for making and using the adapter
Adapters for use with a driving device for turning a knob, and methods for making and using such an adapter are provided. In one example, an adapter includes a shaft that extends distally from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion and that defines a longitudinal axis. The proximal end portion is configured to operatively couple to the driving device for rotating the shaft about the longitudinal axis. An adapter body is coupled to the distal end portion of the shaft. At least one engaging member is disposed radially outward from the longitudinal axis and is configured for removably engaging the knob. A collar surrounds at least a portion of the at least one engaging member.
ELECTRICAL TOOTHBRUSH TRANSMISSION CONNECTION STRUCTURE
An electrical toothbrush transmission connection structure includes a transmission shaft and a motor. The transmission shaft has a first sleeve at one end. The first sleeve has a first connection section. The motor has a rotary shaft. A second sleeve is disposed on the rotary shaft. The second sleeve has a second connection section. The first and second connection sections have corresponding cross-sectional shape and are correspondingly connected with each other so that the electrical toothbrush transmission connection structure has better transmission connection structure and effect.
WASHER ASSEMBLY AND HYDRODYNAMIC TORQUE CONVERTER
A washer assembly and a hydrodynamic torque converter comprising the washer assembly is provided. The washer assembly comprises a washer and a plate; the washer is annular and comprises a washer body and two or more positioning clamps protruding radially inward from an inner periphery of the washer body, at least one side of the positioning clamp in a circumferential direction having a positioning protrusion protruding; the plate is annular, an inner periphery portion of the plate being provided with two or more positioning notches; an edge of at least one side of the positioning notch in the circumferential direction being provided with a positioning groove; and the washer is mounted to one end face of the plate. The washer assembly saves the internal space of the torque converter and saves the material cost of the washer.
Transmission mechanism, follow focus, follow focus actuator, and imaging device
A transmission mechanism includes an output member and a worm wheel shaft configured to be connected to a power device to transmit a power of the power device to the output member. The worm wheel shaft and the output member are engaged with each other through a relative movement along an axial direction. An engagement between the worm wheel shaft and the output member limits a relative rotation between the worm wheel shaft and the output member.
SLIDING SPLINE SHAFT DEVICE
A sliding spline shaft device of the present invention includes a male spline and a female spline that is fitted to the male spline in an axially slidable manner, and at least one of the splines has a surface processed layer. The surface processed layer includes an undercoat layer, an intermediate layer containing phosphate, and a topcoat layer containing solid lubricant, in this order. The undercoat layer contains iron nitride and/or iron carbide. Thus, the surface of a base material has high hardness. As a result, microscopic deformation of the sliding surface is reduced, and increase in a real contact area is suppressed, whereby stick-slip is prevented.
