Friction clutch having a rotational axis

A friction clutch for releasable transmission of a torque between a first drive unit and a second drive unit includes a rotational axis, a friction package for transmitting the torque in a pressed state, a first actuating element, and a second actuating element. The friction package has at least one friction plate and at least one friction disk. The first actuating element is arranged on a first side of the friction package for pressing the friction package in a first axial actuating direction to achieve the pressed state, and the second actuating element is arranged on a second side of the friction package, opposite the first side, for pressing the friction package in a second axial actuating direction, opposite the first axial actuating direction, to achieve the pressed state.

SLIP CLUTCH COMPRISING AN AXIS OF ROTATION

A slip clutch includes an axis of rotation, an input side, an output side, and a pressable friction package for transmitting a predetermined maximum torque between the input side and the output side. The pressable friction package includes a lubricated friction lining with a predetermined coefficient of friction, and an overload spring for applying an axial clamping force to the pressable friction package.

A clutch apparatus for a vehicle drive train for transmitting torque between the vehicle's engine and gearbox. First, second, and third clutch members cooperate with clutch plates, a pressure-receiving plate, a clutch pressure plate, clutch pressure springs, and a setting device for setting a back torque. An engagement device provided between the second clutch member and the third clutch member for bringing about a releasable engagement position between the second clutch member and the third clutch member. The second clutch member has a tubular portion on which a tubular bearing sleeve of predetermined working length is provided, and which has a radially extending rotating collar with an abutment surface on which a spring device is arranged; the spring device is for axially loading the third clutch member, and limits the path of axial displacement of the third clutch member relative to the second clutch member.

FRICTION CLUTCH

A friction clutch for a drivetrain includes an input shaft, an output shaft, a compressible friction pack including a normally closed spring system, and an actuating device. The compressible friction pack is for transmitting a torque between the input shaft and the output shaft in a closed state of the friction clutch. The actuating device is for producing an axial actuating force to compress the compressible friction pack. The actuating device includes an opening spring for exerting an opening force, a centrifugal mass unit including a ramp, and a switching element including a counterpart ramp. The centrifugal mass unit is movable through a radial travel at a predetermined rotational speed of the input shaft. The ramp and the counterpart ramp form a ramp pairing with a ramp gradient to convert the radial travel into the axial actuating force acting counter to the opening force to compress the compressible friction pack.
