Automated runway loop for aerial projectile
An automated runway loop including a u-shaped runway, wherein the runway is configured to support an aerial projectile with the runway having a discharging end and a receiving end. The runway has a support attached to the runway and to a motor capable of extending and retracting the runway along an axis. At least one sensor is positioned along the runway and configured to provide at least one output indicative of at least one parameter of the aerial projectile. A computer is connected to the sensors and the motor, the computer controlling energization of the motor based at least in part on an indicated parameter of the aerial projectile, where the energization of the motor causes the aerial projectile to be discharged from one end of the runway and to be received at the other end of the runway.

The apparatus includes at least one removable electronic device having at least one proximity sensor, a playing surface having a cavity which receives the at least one removable electronic device, and a gamepiece, such as a ball. Each proximity sensor is adapted to sense the gamepiece and activates a visual or audio indicator on the at least one removable electronic device if the gamepiece is within a range of the at least one proximity sensor.

The present invention also discloses an online beer pong game system, comprising the automatic scoring system for a beer pong game as mentioned above, which online beer pong game obtains game data in real-time from a computer of the automatic scoring system using a cloud storage technology and a mobile phone application, such that competitors of the beer pong game can online participate in the game, track game scores and statistics, compare results with other competitors on a global scale.
