Unidirectional torque coupling and method of use
A torque coupling comprising a drive body, an output side body which is coaxially arranged, a pressure disk which is coaxially arranged, movable in rotation coaxial direction, and having a first torque transmission surface on its face side, and a torque transmission device. The torque transmission device (5) comprises rigid pressure transfer elements (6) loadable by compressive forces only upon a gripping of the non driven by the driven torque transmission surface which points in drive direction (A), thereby moving in rotation coaxial direction contrary to the pressure disk (3), and pressing the same in direction of the second torque transmission surface (4B).
CLUTCH MECHANISM FOR GRIPPING TOOLS
An axisymmetric clutch mechanism includes a drive clutch body having a drive bearing surface and a drive clutch surface; an intermediate clutch body having an intermediate clutch surface configured for sliding contacting engagement with the drive clutch surface; a driven clutch body having a driven bearing surface configured for transferring compressive axial force to the drive bearing surface; and rotational drag means for generating resistance to rotational slippage between the drive clutch surface and the intermediate clutch surface. The intermediate and driven clutch bodies are helically coupled in a first rotational direction, forming a first helical coupling having a first lead angle, and with the taper angle of the drive clutch surface and the intermediate clutch surfaces and the first lead angle being selected such that the clutch mechanism will lock when the drive clutch body is rotated relative to the driven clutch body in the first rotational direction.

A transfer for a four-wheel drive vehicle, the vehicle including a driving source, main/auxiliary drive wheels, and a power transmission member, the transfer includes: a ring gear being supported so as to rotate around a rotation axis, and configured to drive the power transmission member; an input shaft extending through an inside of the ring gear, being supported so as to rotate concentrically with the ring gear, and being configured to receive part of the driving force; a disconnect mechanism; and an actuator configured to change the disconnect mechanism between a connection position and a disconnection position, the connection position being a position at which the ring gear and the input shaft are coupled to each other so as not to relatively rotate, the disconnection position being a position at which relative rotation between the ring gear and the input shaft is allowed.
One-way clutch
A one-way clutch includes a first rotational member, a second rotational member, and a first rotational body. The second rotational member has plural first through holes in which bolts are inserted. A dimension of the first through hole in a circumferential direction is larger than a dimension of the first through hole in a radial direction. A first region and a second region are obtained by dividing the first through hole into two regions in the circumferential direction. The first region is located ahead of the second region in a rotatable direction of the second rotational member. The bolts are inserted such that the each of the bolts is located in the first region of the first through hole, and the second rotational member and the first rotational body are fastened by the bolts.
Mechanically disengaging overrunning clutch
A one way overrunning clutch capable of fully disconnecting a drive and driven members during overrunning by utilizing helical teeth or utilizing jaw teeth. Both assembly types provide a drive connection in one rotational direction and allow for overrunning in the opposite rotational direction. Both helical and jaw tooth coupling systems contain a spring loaded actuating plate allowing it to move along either assembly's common axis, enabling components connected to the drive or driven to be completely unconnected when overrunning occurs under certain operating conditions.
Ratchet mechanism and image forming apparatus including same
A ratchet mechanism of the present disclosure includes a first ratchet gear, a second ratchet gear and a compression coil spring. The compression coil spring applies a force acting toward the first ratchet gear to the second ratchet gear. In the second ratchet gear, a cylindrical boss is formed. The center of gravity of the compression coil spring is arranged on the side of one end portion with respect to the center of the compression coil spring in a longitudinal direction. The compression coil spring is inserted into a boss from the side of the one end portion, and thus the center of gravity of the compression coil spring is arranged on the side of the first ratchet gear with respect to the tip end of the boss.

A RATCHET APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a ratchet comprising a fluted disc, wherein the fluted disc is set with the cooperating ratchet base; wherein the ratchet base is fixedly connected to the said fluted disc through the lock screw; wherein said ratchet upper cover is set with reversing part, and wherein the reversing part is provided with mating cards; wherein a fixed reversing shift is located between the said reversing part and the said cards; wherein one of the reversing part is also set with reversing gear that cooperate with the said reversing shift; wherein the ratchet also comprises two dental sclerite within the cards, wherein it sets the mating spring parts among the said dental sclerite.
SELECTABLE ONE-WAY CLUTCH
A selectable one-way clutch includes: a fixed plate; an annular rotating plate that faces the fixed plate and rotates relative to the fixed plate; an engagement piece that is held by the fixed plate to protrude toward the rotating plate; an engagement concave portion formed on the rotating plate to be engaged with the engagement piece; and an annular selector plate placed between the fixed plate and the rotating plate and switches states of the engagement piece, the selectable one-way clutch selectively switching between an engagement state in which the engagement piece engages with the engagement concave portion and a release state in which rotations of the rotating plate in both directions are allowed. Further, notch portions are formed on an outer periphery portion of at least one of the selector plate and the rotating plate to have a shape passing through the plate in a thickness direction.
RATCHET MECHANISM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING SAME
A ratchet mechanism of the present disclosure includes a first ratchet gear, a second ratchet gear and a compression coil spring. The compression coil spring applies a force acting toward the first ratchet gear to the second ratchet gear. In the second ratchet gear, a cylindrical boss is formed. The center of gravity of the compression coil spring is arranged on the side of one end portion with respect to the center of the compression coil spring in a longitudinal direction. The compression coil spring is inserted into a boss from the side of the one end portion, and thus the center of gravity of the compression coil spring is arranged on the side of the first ratchet gear with respect to the tip end of the boss.
