MECHANICAL JOINT WITH SWITCHABLE, ROTATION-CONSTRAINING CLUTCH
20210267776 · 2021-09-02 ·

The current document is directed to a two-way, by-passable, overrunning clutch incorporated within a mechanical prosthetic knee that provides functionality similar to a biological knee or incorporated in another articulated device, such as a robotic or orthotic articulated device or member. The currently disclosed two-way, by-passable, overrunning clutch allows for two-way free rotation when disabled, but, when enabled, prevents rotation in one direction while allowing free rotation in the other direction. In the mechanical prosthetic knee, the two-way, by-passable, overrunning clutch is enabled by application of a mechanical force and disabled by removal of the mechanical force.

Isolating Decoupler

An isolating decoupler comprising a shaft, a pulley journalled to the shaft on at least one bearing, a one-way clutch engaged with the shaft, a torsion spring engaged between the one-way clutch and the pulley, the shaft comprises an inner race of the at least one bearing, and the torsion spring having an end welded to the one-way clutch and having another end welded to the pulley.

Reverse input lock clutch

A reverse input lock clutch has a fitting portion of a spring stopper rotatably fitted in a cylindrical dent formed by being surrounded by an inner diameter portion on an end surface of an output member on a side opposite to a fixed member. A locking portion rotates with the fitting portion while having one end of a first elastic member locked by a holder groove. Adjustment of the rotation position of the lock portion with respect to the output member is made by rotating the fitting portion within a range of a groove length of an adjustment groove with respect to the output member and anchoring an adjustment pin at a desired rotation position to the adjustment pin fixing portion so as to fix the fitting portion on the output member.

Belt pulley decoupler

A belt pulley decoupler for transmitting drive torque from the belt of an auxiliary unit belt drive to the shaft of one of the auxiliary units is provided, including: a belt pulley, a hub to be mounted on the shaft, a first sleeve, which is rotationally fixed in the pulley, a second sleeve, which is rotatable in the pulley, and a series circuit of a decoupler spring and a disposed in the drive torque flow between the belt pulley and the hub. The wrap-around band ends, which couple the two sleeves to one another non-rotatably while transmitting the drive torque, extend the wrap-around band radially. One of the two sleeves has a circumferentially extending slot and the wrap-around band end coupled to this sleeve is configured as a leg, which interlockingly engages in the slot non-rotatably in a direction of rotation of the drive torque.

Belt pulley decoupler

A belt pulley decoupler (1) for the transfer of torque between the belt of a belt drive and a shaft (2) in drive connection therewith, includes: a hub (5) to be fastened to the shaft, a belt pulley (3) rotatably mounted on the hub, and two helical torsion springs (18, 19) which transfer the torque between the belt pulley and the hub and are connected in parallel.

AN ELECTRICAL ACTUATOR
20210277962 · 2021-09-09 ·

An electrical actuator (20) is provided. The actuator (20) comprises an electric drive means (22) and a drive member (26) being rotationally driven upon activation of the electric drive means (22), an output member (24) being rotationally connected to the drive member (26) by means of a first spring (28), and a second spring (32) being connected to the output member (24) and forming a one way clutch between the output member (24) and a fixed tube (34), wherein the electrical actuator (20) further comprises a regulation cup (30) being configured to engage with the second spring (32) to disconnect the output member (24) from the fixed tube (34).

Pulley Structure

A pulley structure includes: a cylindrical outer rotation body; an inner rotation body; and a torsion coil spring. The torsion coil spring includes: one end region which is in contact with one rotation body; the other end region which is in contact with the other rotation body; and a middle region. The other rotation body includes: a first contact surface; a facing surface; an inclined surface; and a second contact surface. The facing surface includes a constraining surface connected to the inclined surface. The constraining surface is configured to be capable of constraining the other end region of the torsion coil spring before press fitting so as to prevent a displacement of an axis of the torsion coil spring before the press fitting with respect to an axis of the other rotation body.

PULLEY STRUCTURE, SLIDING BEARING, AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR SLIDING BEARING

A pulley structure includes a cylindrical outer rotation body, an inner rotation body, and a pair of bearings which is disposed between the outer rotation body and the inner rotation body. Of the pair of bearings, one bearing is a sliding bearing, and the other bearing is a rolling bearing. The sliding bearing is made of a thermoplastic resin and is formed into an ended ring shape. A thickness of the sliding bearing at each of both circumferential end portions is smaller than a reference dimension of a thickness of the sliding bearing.
