The hub bracket comprises a hub bracket body connected to at least one portion of the caliper body, the hub bracket body comprising at least one coupling surface suitable for coupling to at least one bearing for supporting a wheel hub connectable to the brake disc and to a wheel of the vehicle.
DISC BRAKE CALIPER BODY
A caliper body has a first elongated element facing a first braking surface. The first elongated element has first and second ends. The caliper body has a second elongated element facing a second braking surface. The first elongated element has first and second ends of second elongated element. The first ends of first and second elongated elements face each other. The second ends of first and second elongated elements face each other. The first ends of first and second elongated elements are connected by a first end bridge. The second ends of first and second elongated elements are connected by a second end bridge. The first and second elongated elements are connected by a central bridge. The first or second elongated element has two connecting housings for connection to a support for the caliper body in a vehicle.
DISC BRAKE CALIPER BODY
A caliper body having first and second braking surfaces, a bracket connecting to a caliper support provided in a vehicle and a floating element supported by the bracket to move along the axial direction. The floating element has a first floating element portion facing the first braking surface. The first floating element portion has a biasing device housing to accommodate a biasing device. The floating element has a first floating element bridge protruding straddling the brake disc and a plate-shaped portion extending on a plane along circumferential and radial directions. The plate-shaped portion has end portions protruding from opposite sides with respect to the first floating element bridge, a second inner plate-shape portion side facing the biasing device, two plate-shaped portion projections protruding from the plate-shaped portion side and having thrust surfaces biasing a second pad against the second braking surface and forming with the plate-shaped portion a ventilation channel.
Brake carrier and disc brake
A brake carrier for a disc brake of a commercial vehicle has an attachment region for fixing on a vehicle axis and at least one pad shaft for receiving and supporting at least one brake pad. The pad shaft is formed by way of an inlet-side carrier horn, an outlet-side carrier horn and a bridge which connects the inlet-side carrier horn and the outlet-side carrier horn. Regions of the bridge which adjoin the carrier horns form bearing surfaces for radially supporting the at least one brake pad. The respective guide contours for guiding the brake pad into a push-in position are arranged to the side of the pad shaft on a side surface of the carrier horns, in which push-in position the brake pad can be pushed axially with respect to the vehicle axle into the pad shaft between the carrier horns.
Antivibration centering ring for the foot of a torque tube of an aircraft brake, and a brake fitted with such a ring
An antivibration centering ring for centering a foot of the torque tube of an aircraft brake on an axle of the aircraft includes alternating bearing zones that are arranged to bear in alternation on the axle and on the torque tube foot. The bearing zones are offset on their non-bearing sides by functional clearance so that no bearing zone bears simultaneously on the axle and on the foot of the torque tube. The bearing zones are connected to one another by flexible ligaments.
Disc brake for a commercial vehicle
A disc brake and a brake lining for a commercial vehicle are provided. The disc brake includes a brake caliper on a stationary brake carrier and straddling a brake disc. The brake carrier has at least one brake lining space, in particular two brake lining spaces, each of which is delimited by lateral brake carrier lugs and accommodates a brake lining. At least one respective dimensionally stable blocking element is provided as a counter bearing against the insertion direction of the brake pads. The blocking elements are supported on the brake pads and/or or the brake carrier and are held on the brake carrier and/or on the brake pads.
Brake caliper positional correction device
An apparatus for a vehicle is provided that has a spindle sleeve (12) with a spindle sleeve inner surface axis (14) that is coaxial with the axis of an axle (16). The spindle sleeve (12) has a spindle sleeve outer surface axis (20) that is oriented at an angle to the axis of the axle. A hub (28) is present that has a hub axis (30) that is coaxial with the spindle sleeve outer surface axis (20). A rotor (32) is coaxial with the hub axis (30) and brake calipers (34) are carried by the axle. A brake caliper positional correction device (36) is present and is carried by the axle (16) and has a correction surface (38) that carries the brake calipers (34). The correction surface (38) orients the brake calipers (34) such that the brake calipers (34) are properly positioned with respect to the rotor (32).
