Mounting for a guide pin of a disc brake
A mounting for a guide pin of a disc brake and method of mounting. A mounting portion of a guide pin may have a first polygonal cross-sectional profile. A receiving portion of a brake carrier may receive the mounting portion and may have cross-sectional profile that is different than the first polygonal cross-sectional profile.
CALIPER BRAKE
Disclosed herein a caliper brake includes a brake disc rotating with a wheel of a vehicle; an inner brake pad and an outer brake pad respectively disposed on opposite sides of the brake disc; a pressing member configured to press the inner brake pad against the brake disc; a caliper housing in which the pressing member is movable forward and backward; a caliper bridge connected to the caliper housing and configured to press the outer brake pad against the brake disc by a reaction force in response to operation of the pressing member; a carrier fixed to a body of the vehicle; and at least one guide rod fixed to the carrier and guiding sliding movement of the caliper housing and the caliper bridge with respect to the carrier.
GUIDE ELEMENT AND BRAKE ANCHOR FOR A DISK BRAKE SYSTEM, AND DISK BRAKE SYSTEM
The disclosure illustrates and describes a guide element which extends from a first end via a guide portion to a second end. The guide element has a fixing portion arranged at the second end and extending along a first extent direction, which runs transversely with respect to the axial direction, to a free end. The guide element has a connecting portion between the guide portion and the fixing portion. The connecting portion extends along a second extent direction, which runs transversely with respect to the axial direction and transversely with respect to the second extent direction, and extends along the axial direction from a first plane, which runs perpendicular to the axial direction, to a second plane, which runs perpendicular to the axial direction. The fixing portion is spaced apart in an axial direction both from the first plane and from the second plane. The disclosure furthermore relates to a corresponding brake anchor and to a corresponding disk brake system.
Guide assembly for a disc brake
A caliper guide assembly and a method of manufacture. The guide assembly may include a guide pin, a guide bore arranged to receive the guide pin and permit relative axial sliding thereof, a bush arranged to define at least part of the guide bore, and a sensor arrangement configured to provide an output indicative of a state of wear of the bush.
SPRING, SPRING ASSEMBLY AND BRAKE PAD, CALIPER BODY ASSEMBLY
A spring for a caliper body where the spring may be shaped to be arranged straddling a brake disc for applying an elastic action on at least one brake pad to bias it away from said brake disc. The spring may have a first thrust portion and a second thrust portion adapted to apply an elastic action on at least one brake pad, biasing the brake pad at least away from the brake disc. The spring may also have a first coupling portion adapted to couple the spring with a first side bridge. The spring may also have a second coupling portion adapted to couple the spring with the second side bridge on a tangentially opposite part with respect to the first coupling portion. The spring may also have a backing portion. The spring may also have at least one concave spring portion.
BRAKE APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A brake apparatus for a vehicle may include: a caliper body module provided with a finger part and a cylinder part spaced apart from each other and facing each other, a pad plate part disposed between the finger part and the cylinder part, and configured to selectively come into contact with a disk module rotated together with a rotor to generate a braking force, a piston module installed in the cylinder part to be movable forward and backward and configured to press the pad plate part, a guide member disposed on both sides of the caliper body module and configured to movably support the caliper body module, and a first fastening member extending from the guide member and fastened to a first mounting member provided in a stator.
Floating-caliper brake
The aim of the invention is to ensure a reliable lift of both brake pads of a floating-caliper brake (1) after releasing the brake. This is achieved in that a lifting part (20) is hinged to the brake caliper (2) at a hinge point (21), and the lifting part (20) is supported on the support structure (7) at a contact point (23) at least partly at releasing the floating-caliper brake (1), wherein a lift drive (22) is provided which rotates the lifting part (20) about the hinge point (21) such that a support for the lifting part (20) is produced on the contact point (23), whereby the hinge point (21) and the brake caliper (2) are moved.
DISC BRAKE DEVICE
A disc brake apparatus has a support member, slide members each having a guide pin and an anchor pin which are situated on an inner side and outer side of the support member, respectively, and a caliper which is held so that tangential force of an outer pad is transmitted to a claw portion and which is supported on the slide members. The caliper includes outer transmission surfaces which transmit braking torque generated in the outer pad to the anchor pins and inner transmission surfaces which transmit the braking force to the guide pins.
Pad liner for brake apparatus
A pad liner for a brake apparatus may include: a pad liner body disposed between a plurality of pin members; pad liner support parts extending from two opposing ends of the pad liner body, respectively, and configured to support the plurality of pin members, respectively; a pad liner return part connected to the pad liner body so as to press a first brake pad, and brought into contact with the first brake pad so as to provide an elastic restoring force when a brake pedal is released, such that the first brake pad is returned to original state; and a pad liner extension part connected to the pad liner body, and brought into contact with a second brake pad so as to press the second brake pad.
Brake Caliper
A brake caliper, for example a floating caliper, with a caliper housing and a guide element. The guide element fixed on one side to the caliper housing and moveably supported at a free end in a guide bushing. The guide bushing having a return mechanism that deflects with and returns the guide element to an initial position. The return mechanism also automatically adjusts when the guide element exceeds a predetermined amount of deflection.
