A brake unit for a vehicle is disclosed, including a housing, a hydraulic unit, a braking element unit, wherein the braking element unit forms or supports a braking partner in a braking device for the vehicle. The housing, the hydraulic unit and/or the braking element unit define a main axis, wherein the hydraulic unit moves the braking element unit in an axial direction relative to the housing, in order to generate a braking force, and having a guide unit. The guide unit guides the braking element unit in the radial direction during the axial movement, wherein the guide unit has a master guide and an auxiliary guide, wherein the master guide and the auxiliary guide are arranged eccentrically.

DISC BRAKE

A disc brake having a brake carrier, a guide surface and a travel limiting arrangement. A first brake pad assembly is configured to slide relative to the guide surface. The travel limiting arrangement engages the guide surface and is configured to inhibit sliding of the first brake pad assembly relative to the guide surface that is above a pre-determined amount.

BRAKE ASSEMBLY

A disc brake assembly having brake pads, a brake carrier, a caliper, and an actuating arrangement. The caliper is slidable with respect to the brake carrier for clamping and release of a rotor by the brake pads. The actuating arrangement is configured to selectively move the caliper and the brake carrier relative to each other generally transverse to a first longitudinal axis so as to lock or inhibit sliding of the caliper relative to the carrier.

Guide assembly for a disc brake

A guide assembly for a disc brake and a method of arrangement. The guide assembly includes a guide pin and a sliding bore that receives the guide pin. A first face mating interface of the sliding bore may define a first sliding interface between the guide pin and the bore.

BRAKE PAD RETRACTING DEVICE

A brake pad retracting device is disclosed. An example vehicle braking system comprising a rotor, and a caliper including a brake pad slidably engaged with a guide pin, and a coil spring through which the guide pin extends, the coil spring having a first end and a second end, the first end having a first inner diameter sized to enable the first end to move freely over a surface of the guide pin, the first end to engage the brake pad to urge the brake pad away from the rotor, and the second end having a second inner diameter sized to frictionally engage the surface of the guide pin, the first inner diameter greater than the second inner diameter.

A disc brake device in which a moment acts on a pad in a direction in which a rotation-in side portion is pushed up toward a radially outer side during braking, including the pad including a pin insertion portion and a clip insertion portion, a pad support member, including a pin inserted into the pin insertion portion in an axial direction, and supporting the pad so that the pad is movable in the axial direction, and a pad clip, including a pad pressing portion inserted into the clip insertion portion in the axial direction, and configured to press the pad radially outward. The pad clip is configured to apply a pressing force to the pad so that a radially inner side portion of an inner peripheral surface of the pin insertion portion is pressed against a radially inner side portion of the pin.

FLEXIBLE DUST BOOT FOR AUTOMOTIVE BRAKE CYLINDER

A dust boot sealing system for automotive brake cylinders, is arranged for dust protection between a linear actuation member and a housing of the brake cylinder. The boot comprises flexible bellows between two concentrical interface portions, and the both interface portions rest radially outwards from their respective counterpart seats in circumferential grooves on housing and actuation member. The boot is provided with pressure relief valve and with integrated pressure relief valve function which automatically and temporarily changes into open status under a pressure gradient decline in direction from interior to exterior, with respect to the boot.

Commercial vehicle air disc brake caliper assembly

The present invention relates to a commercial vehicle disc brake caliper assembly comprising a caliper body and a left guide pin component, right guide pin component, the main adjuster mechanism assembly, the driven adjuster unit are all mounted on the caliper body. The adjuster mechanism assembly adopts a gear cluth structure with anti-overload function; the driven adjuster unit adopts a circlip structure; the main adjuster assembly and the driven adjuster unit is connected by sprocket chain. The bottom of the main adjuster assembly and the bottom of the driven adjuster unit are connected to the three thread calibration bolt, which connected with bridage, the bridage are arranged inside of the brake caliper. The invention overcomes the problems which may occur during brakeing, such as uneven braking force, failure of clearance adjustment, deformation of adjuster mechanism, failure of braking, etc.
