NORMALLY CLOSED DISC CLAMP SYSTEM AND ROTARY TABLE USING THE SAME
A normally closed disc clamp system includes a housing with a rotating disc, a brake ring and a pressure-enhancing ring arranged therein. When only a first chamber is supplied with fluid, the fluid pushes the brake ring to release the rotating disc. When only a second chamber is fed with fluid, the fluid pushes the brake ring to keep the rotating disc in the braking state, and pushes the pressure-enhancing ring to compress an elastic unit. The energy generated by the compression of the elastic unit acts on the brake ring through the fluid, so that the brake ring achieves a double pressurization effect. If the action of the fluid fails, the brake ring can still provide a braking effect to the rotating disc through the elastic unit to improve operational safety. Further, the present invention further provides a rotating table using the normally closed disc clamp system.

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including medium-encoded computer program products, for designing lattice structures for heat dissipating devices include a method including: obtaining a 3D model of a device that passes a fluid through an internal structure of the device, including a lattice for the internal structure; performing computational fluid dynamics simulation using the 3D model to generate fluid turbulence data that indicates fluid flows through the lattice for the internal structure; modifying a first density in accordance with the fluid turbulence data; performing computational structural simulation using the 3D model and defined loading condition(s) for the device to generate structural integrity data that indicates a structural weakness of the device; modifying a second density in accordance with the structural integrity data; and providing the 3D model of the device, the 3D model including the modified first density and the modified second density.

A flow path for air is formed between the pair of radial fins, and the flow path for air is narrowed by the circumferential rib. On the circumferential rib, a gradual slope for suppressing fluctuations in an airflow that passes between the pair of radial fins is provided from a base part to a top part.

According to the invention, an angular deviation (34) from the parallel between the brake disc (30) and the caliper seat (11) is measured in that an apparatus (1) for ascertaining the positional deviation of the brake disc (30) is connected to the caliper seat (11), the apparatus (1) comprising at least two distance sensors (20, 22) that are stationary with respect to the caliper seat (11) and take measurements in the direction of a first flat face of the brake disc (30), the distance sensors (20, 22) transmitting distances (A, A′) between the first flat face of the brake disc (30) and the distance sensors (20, 22) measured at different radii (R, R′) of the brake disc (30) to an evaluation device, the angular deviation (34) of the brake disc (30) being ascertained by the evaluation device from the distances.
