A seal ring is an annular seal ring which is configured to be interposed between first and second members, and seals a gap between the first and second members. The second member is inserted into the first member, and reciprocates in its axial direction with respect to the first member. The seal ring includes an annular base part, an annular innermost end part, and a widening protrusion part. The annular base part has a radially exterior end to contact the first member. The annular innermost end part is integrally formed with a radially interior end of the base part to contact the second member. The widening protrusion part is integrally formed with the innermost end part, and protrudes with respect to the base part in the axial direction of the second member.

NORMALLY CLOSED DISC CLAMP SYSTEM AND ROTARY TABLE USING THE SAME

A normally closed disc clamp system includes a housing with a rotating disc, a brake ring and a pressure-enhancing ring arranged therein. When only a first chamber is supplied with fluid, the fluid pushes the brake ring to release the rotating disc. When only a second chamber is fed with fluid, the fluid pushes the brake ring to keep the rotating disc in the braking state, and pushes the pressure-enhancing ring to compress an elastic unit. The energy generated by the compression of the elastic unit acts on the brake ring through the fluid, so that the brake ring achieves a double pressurization effect. If the action of the fluid fails, the brake ring can still provide a braking effect to the rotating disc through the elastic unit to improve operational safety. Further, the present invention further provides a rotating table using the normally closed disc clamp system.

Disc Brake Device

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a disc brake device for which sliding at the boundary surface between a piston and a piston seal is suppressed, and dragging is reduced. The present invention is provided with a cylinder, a piston housed in the cylinder, an inner brake pad opposing a disc rotor, an inner circumferential groove formed in a cylinder inner circumference, and a piston seal that is provided in the inner circumferential groove and contacts the piston. The inner circumferential groove is provided with a wall, a wall on the opposite side from the wall, a bottom wall connecting the wall and the wall, and a curved surface expanding the inner circumferential groove at the wall. The bottom wall is formed such that the distance to the piston gradually increases from the wall toward the wall. The curved surface is provided with a curvature starting point on the side closer to the piston seal and a curvature endpoint on the opposite side from the curvature starting point with the curved surface therebetween, and the curvature endpoint is positioned farther outside than the cylinder inner circumference.

SEALING DEVICE

An annular sealing device in a recess in a housing has a movable annular piston; and an annular inner periphery sealing lip adhered to part of a first edge along an inner periphery of the piston and that slides while in contact with the recess. The first edge has a first inner periphery edge with a first thickness; a second inner periphery edge adjoining the first inner periphery edge and with a thinner second thickness; and a third inner periphery edge adjoining the second inner periphery edge and with a thinner yet third thickness. The first, second, and third inner periphery edges are in this order from the outer periphery of the piston. The inner periphery sealing lip is adhered to the third inner periphery edge and part of the second inner periphery edge to cover a step formed by thickness differences between the second and third inner periphery edges.

DISC BRAKE CALIPER

A disc brake caliper has a caliper body arranged straddling a brake disc having a rotation axis defining an axial direction and opposite friction surfaces, pads accommodated in the caliper body, a cylinder forming a cylindrical wall and a bottom wall, a piston, and a parking-braking system having a rotating member accommodated within a rotation housing formed in the bottom wall. The cylinder defines a first annular housing and a second annular housing both made in the bottom wall, and extending in a direction transverse to the axial direction and leading into the rotation housing. The second annular housing is distinct from the first annular housing and positioned in a direction opposite to an inner surface of the bottom wall. The first annular housing accommodates a first seal. The second annular housing accommodates a second seal. The first and second seals act between the rotating member and the bottom wall.

Brake assembly for an electric motor

A brake assembly for an electric motor includes: a magnetic body, a winding, a bolt, a housing part with a brake surface, an armature disk, a brake pad plate, a shaft, a spring part, and a first bushing. The housing part is connected to the magnetic body by the bolt, with a positive fit in at least the circumferential direction. The first bushing is accommodated in a second bushing. The spring part supported on the housing part presses the first bushing and/or the second bushing toward the magnetic body. The radial clearance range covered by the armature disk includes the radial clearance range covered by the second bushing, and the axial region covered by the armature disk includes the axial region covered by the second bushing.

The piston boot includes: a large diameter annular fitting portion containing an annular metal member so as to be fitted to the small diameter step portion; a bellows portion, which extends from the large diameter fitting portion, is increased in its diameter from the large diameter fitting portion to an outer peripheral side, and is also deformed and extended from the large diameter fitting portion toward an inner peripheral side; and a small diameter fitting portion formed at an end portion of the bellows portion so as to fit to an outer periphery of the piston.

Clutch assembly and system

Power transmission systems including clutch arrangements and systems are adapted to be used in marine and other environments. Such power transmission systems may include clutch arrangements that provide more effective power transmission capabilities as well as greater durability and longer life. Slipping clutch arrangements may effectively vary the output speed of a clutch arrangement from the speed of the engine or other driver as desired for the particular application. Various clutch arrangements also provide for greater flexibility and drive options, lighter weight, and diverse types of capabilities.
