The invention relates to a device for filling an assembly of a non-vacuum-resistant system with a service fluid. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a device by means of which such non-vacuum-resistant systems can be filled air-free by means of vacuum pressure filling and can be closed. Said problem is solved in that the device has a vacuum chamber (1) for holding at least one assembly (3) to be filled, wherein: in the interior of the vacuum chamber (1), a rotary device (4) for supporting and moving at least one holding unit (5) for an assembly (3) to be filled is disposed in the lower region; the at least one holding unit (5) is assembled from at least two separate segments (51; 52), which, in the assembled position, form a common free available space (53) in their interior, the inner contour of said available space being congruent to the outer contour of the assembly (3) to be filled; in one segment (52) of the holding unit (5), an additional free available space (54) is formed above the outer contour of the assembly (3) to be filled; in the interior of the vacuum chamber (1), a screwing tool (7) for a closure element (8) of the assembly (3) to be filled and a filling unit (6) are disposed above the holding unit (5); the portions of the screwing tool (7) and of the filling unit (6) which are to be operatively connected to the assembly (3) to be filled can each be moved into the additional free available space (54) of the holding unit (5) above the outer contour of the assembly (3) to be filled. Caliper for disc brakes

A caliper includes a hydraulic linking channel provided in a bridge section linking hydraulic cylinders, on an inner caliper section side, and hydraulic cylinders, on an outer caliper section side, to a cylinder-side hydraulic channel disposed on the back end of each respectively. A connecting channel forming section, which corresponds to each cylinder-side hydraulic channel and the hydraulic linking channel is provided, in advance, in a core used during casting of the inner caliper section, the outer caliper section, and the bridge section, and is formed by setting in a situation to be embedded at the same time as each caliper section and the bridge section are being integrally cast.

Master Mounting and Hydraulic Disk Brake

A master cylinder for a hydraulic brake or clutch system, in particular, a handlebar steered vehicle, in particular a bicycle, comprises a housing containing a cylinder chamber, in which are disposed a piston slidable therein and a pressure chamber. A compensation chamber is connected with the pressure chamber through at least one compensation bore. Also provided is a cover closing the housing and a counterpart for mounting the master cylinder on a handlebar tube. Further provided is at least one connecting device for connecting the counterpart with the housing of the master cylinder. Included with the connecting device is a first connecting portion for connecting the cover with the housing of the master cylinder and a second connecting portion for connecting the counterpart with the master cylinder and for mounting the master cylinder on a handlebar tube.

A bicycle brake caliper apparatus comprises a caliper housing and a plug. The caliper housing includes a fluid chamber and an opening for receiving the plug therein, wherein the opening extends to an outside of the housing at a first location. The housing also includes a fluid passage in fluid communication with the fluid chamber, wherein the fluid passage is in fluid communication with an outside of the housing at a second location offset from the first location. The fluid passage is closed when the plug is in a first position. The fluid passage is open when the plug is in a second position so that fluid is allowed to flow from the fluid chamber, through the fluid passage and to the outside of the housing at the second location.

HYDRAULIC CLUTCH ACTUATOR FILLING CHECK METHOD AND APPARATUS

Provided is a method and apparatus for checking the oil filling of an electronic clutch provided in a vehicle transmission. This approach determines the presence of air inside a hydraulic cylinder or clutch tube based on the current value profile generated when a piston of a hydraulic actuator is driven, without a separate air detection device.
