Anti-Reverse Rotation Apparatuses, Rotors for use Therein, and Related Methods
This disclosure includes anti-reverse rotation apparatuses, rotors for use therein, and related methods. Some apparatuses include a stator defining an interior volume and one or more arcuate contact surfaces within the interior volume, and a rotor rotatably coupled to the stator and at least partially disposed within the interior volume, the rotor having a hub, two or more shoes, each pivotally coupled to the hub and extending between a first end and a second end that is farther from the hub than is the first end, wherein each of the shoes is rotatable relative to the hub between: (a) a first position in which the second end of the shoe contacts at least one of the arcuate contact surface(s) of the stator; and (b) a second position in which the second end of the shoe does not contact the arcuate contact surface(s) of the stator.
Unidirectional Rotating Brake
A unidirectional rotating brake contains: a body including a first rotation element and a second rotation element between which a first mating face and a second mating face are formed. The second mating face has multiple accommodation grooves, each of which has a first segment and a second segment. The second rotation element further has multiple circular loops and a stop ring, each of the multiple circular loops has multiple notches, and each of the multiple notches accommodates each of multiple connection columns. Each of multiple locking elements has a diameter which is less than a depth of the first segment of said each accommodation groove and is more than a depth of the second segment. The unidirectional rotating brake further contains at least one returning member configured to drive said each locking element to move toward the second segment of said each accommodation groove.
Pad replacement kit, caliper body, pad and insert assembly and method of exerting a modified braking action
A caliper assembly (100) of a disc brake caliper, of the type with a modified braking action, comprising a caliper body (1) suitable to arrange astride of a brake disc, at least one first pad (8) being slidably received in at least one first seat (101) and so as to position itself between a first vehicle side elongated portion (5) and a first braking surface of the brake disk to abut, with a first pad plane (128) thereof, against said first braking surface (3) and to exert a braking action on the brake disc when pressed by the thrust means upon demand for a first friction action exerted by the first pad friction material against said first braking surface (3) causing a braking action, said assembly (100) further comprising a first insert (106) in a separate body from said caliper body (1) and in a separate body to said first pad (8) and particular in a separate body to said first pad plate (102), said first insert (106) comprises a balance wheel body (119) hinged to the caliper body (1) and oscillating in relation to the caliper body (1) so as to change, in an adjustable manner avoiding replacement of the insert, the angle between the plate support surface (107) of said insert (106) and said plane (104) defined by the braking surface (3) or said pad plane (128).
SELF-LOCKING ANTI-SLIP RAIL BRAKING DEVICE
A self-locking anti-slip rail braking device is provided. The rail braking device includes a ladder-shaped support, a lifting unit, a roller-and-wedge plate mechanism, a roller support, and a rail clamping unit. The ladder-shaped support is connected under a surface of a balance beam of a port facility, and is connected at a middle part thereof with the lifting unit. A lower end of the lifting unit is hinged to two sides of the roller support. The roller support is provided on an upper end surface thereof with the roller-and-wedge plate mechanism, and is provided at a middle part thereof with the rail clamping unit. An upper end of the rail clamping unit serves as a force application end and is configured to match the roller-and-wedge plate mechanism, and a lower end of the rail clamping unit serves as a rail clamping end corresponding to two lateral sides of a rail.
